Hi Ladies,

Just quickly touching base as it is to hot to sit here at the computer when a beer is calling :D It is 38 degrees (100 F) today and it is so hot considering it isn't even summer yet what sort of summer are we going to have here down under????

I am glad your uterus is looking nice and ready to go Lola we need some good news before the year is out what a great Xmas present that would be (no pressure of course).

Steph how are you handling the last 7 weeks..... I am so with you on the drugs all my friends are saying they are going to have a natural birth and I keep saying I would be asking for everythign possible there is no point being in pain if you don't have to be plus I hear the gas is good

Jen how are you doing??WE can definately be togather on the 4th life raft....and damn it it will work this time.... And the weight thig I think i am denial and the beer tastes too good plus it is xmas so maybe later... I am glad you got to see the Dr quickly and she had positive stuff for you we will get there......... You'll see when our kids are experimenting with drugs and being buggers during teenage years we will look back and smile at this time......

Little I hope your going OK over in Switzerland..

Camilla nice of you to pop back in don't take so long next time...

Girlssssss....

Hows everyone hangin? I am getting ready for turkey day.. I am presently at work, but my mind is on vacation already... 4 days off... yahoo! However, I already did the grocery shopping so I will not have to fight the crowds at the grocery store. ... now all I need to do is clean my house and create a feast of culinary perfection! easy stuff. Did I also mention we have a baby class tonight? I was going to skip it, but it is on breastfeeding and really don't want to miss that one.

Loo's- congrats on another successful scan lovey! I can't believe your ET might be on Tuesday!!! waa-hoooo! rollin right along to Planet BiFeP. how are you doing? keepin busy seems to be working for you.. am a huge fan of that... it is either the "no time to think" or the "block everything out" methods that i do best with... some may call it denial.. I call it mind control. am a master!

Walshy- hey luv machine! It is so weird to me that it is summer where you are.. and you have Christmas in the summertime??? weird.. what's christmas without a snow-in? although I am not a fan of beer, I am a fan of wine, margaritas, mojitos... I say enjoy! especially now.. after you get preggers you will be glad to have lived it up before hand! so, have a cold one is my advice.

Camilla- very good to see you.. hows the babes?

Jens- I am so glad you had a visit to doc in quick time! much better than waiting to hear your options. It sounds like doc is very optimistic! I'm down with that.. also great news that you will get to extend the progesterone.. it will be MUCH less stressful for you on the 2WW. you'll see.. no constant panty checks, no dread of going to potty... it is easier when you know the date of test.. not waiting every minute for the worst to happen. So, a valentines baby trek it will be!! yeah February! about the sleep-ins.. yep will miss them.. but that's what hubby bubbys are for!

Ok luvahs.. off to overeat, repeat and then complain that I am SOOOOO FULL! you have to stick with tradition!

Steph

Well as I promised I would check in most days to say hello and tell you with what is going on for me....Where is everyone else besides Steph...........

Well not much today I am going to a dinner party tonight in which I made a nice baked cheesecake.

Steph I like your overeat repeat and then comlain it reminds me of Christmas. Is thanks giving like a pre run to christmas....Do you give presents? I would love a white Christmas one year as all the pictures of Santa etc he has snow and it really defeats the prpose of having a snowman with all the sun  They have tried to introduce a Santa that has shorts, a singlet top and thongs (shoes not g-string). And instead of reindeers they have kangaroos. Not many people use that one and we still though follow the English/American santa with snow etc....

Does anyone have any special christmas traditions....

Ok talk to you later from Walshy

Oi Oi lovely ladies

jen - hope you FIL is ok? Things sound a bit crazy for you at the moment. How are you coping? Are you feeling ok??

Steph - shipwrecked on the shores of Turkey! How was Thanksgiving? I hope everyone was impressed with your culinary skills and helped with the washing up? Have you bought your computer yet?? Hmmm?? What do you mean no? Better hurry, Faith will be here in approx 2 minutes and you need to stay in touch!!!

La Walsh - back and sounding very chipper - nice one dude. Steady on the beer compadre... Man, wish I was in Sydney in the warm. How're you doing? No luck on Google for the Walsh interactive but thats probably for the best......

Littles - how're you n dh? back from Swiss yet? When are you starting again?

Well, I had scan on friday - all bueno. Have now stopped Buserelin injectiones (hoorah!) and now on patches (my twin exhausts as dh calls them) and the very sexy Progesterone supps...... mmmmm... no likely. Anyhosens, embryo transfer Tuesday! Sid n Babs back at Lola Heights (or Lola Lows?) and this time troopers, they better stick around - PLEASE!!!!! I will be over the moon if this works. Come on!!!!!

This time I'm taking rest of week off from work to take it easy with the guys and hopefully persuade them to stay. Will try bribery this time....
Next job is to try and fill 2ww with sparkly distracting things to do. My parents are coming to visit in the second week and we have lots of touristy stuff planned so that should help.
I also expect some serious distraction from you guys so wake up!

X factor - sigh, McLoggers are still in. Am glad Eton Road are out though - lame merchants.

OK sweet duchesses of delight, I'm off to be housewifey

love in abundance

God, does life not get any easier. We have been having a shit time of it.
Thanks for asking how we are. Don't know where i am getting strength from as i still feel quite down and weepy now and again about the ivf but hey we just have to get on with it eh.
Great news about your scan, can't wait to see the quantity of eggs you will get-----bfp here we come

Will try to log in when i can

Mornin Nutters!!!

Well, am back and now weigh 25lbs more than I did 4 days ago..... Thanksgiving cooking effort was very successful! the pumpkin cheesecake has been my downfall... man but that is good stuff!~ Worth every bite, atleast until I weigh in at the docs next week.. yikes! Was such a lovely 4 days off from work.. nice little break, lots of sleeping in, naps, relaxin, shopping, cheesy tv... but alas all good things must come to an end and am now back at work.. pish-posh. Curses!

along with relaxation, of course comes stress... paps in the hospital, cousins 5 year old son has had multiple seizures and MRI reveals no answers and one of best friends dad died, just one month after being told he may have cancer....
Life is full of good and bad... good should always be appreciated!.... OK, moment of deep thought over...

Walshy.... hmmmm. nope no thanksgiving presents.. just lots of food and appreciation of what you are thankful for in your life.. it is to celebrate the day when the pilgrims and indians played nicey and made a fab-u meal together... like I said.. food, food and more food. Turkey of course! stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, pie (usually pumpkin)... these are the standards... but every family has their traditions.. as long as your entire house smells like good food, you are doing it right! as for Christmas.. the way the weather has been here lately (in the 60's.. crazy talk for end of Nov.) ... we will be joining with your santa in shorts and thongs.... or flip-flops as they are called in these here parts....

Louey-lo-lita.... hey butternut! Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday!!! sounds like a fantastic day for a transfer... sid n' babs... i likey. and a va-kay from work too... although i do not really see you sitting on the couch type.. I hope you are able to keep yourself busy in that stress free kinda way.. touring with parental units sounds like a keeper! this is it.. Lolas BFP!!!!! no worries... I have demanded it! nope, no computer... I know, I know!!

Jens- hey bunny.. hope hubbys dad is better. sorry you have to rush back to go to work though.. and yes, life can be craps.. doesn't it seem like everything happens at once? and don't pretend you don't know where you are getting strength from.... we all know you have secret stash of cans of whoop*ss! safe travels back to home sweets!

Littles- hi sweets.. is class soming to an end now?? soon you will have time to chat with us again... hoorah! am sure hubby is also glad!

bye, bye birdies
Steph

Hi guys

Thanks for good luck messages!
Man, after a relatively smooth cycle I got the hormone rebound today. Feel so upset and disastrous today. Have not cried! I refuse!
So, tomorrow is the day of truth - come on embies, thaw thaw thaw!
I'm having acupuncture before n after - throw a bit o money at proceedings.
I don't want to do the 2ww - Steph maybe you're right - I should go back to work, keep busy?? maybe I'll go back on Friday or something.
Am now terrified arggghhhhhh!!!! Can I survive another failure? I've been so much happier recently, I don't want to go back to sad misery that I was earlier this year - boooo, no-one likey that girl.

Anyways, enough self obsessing!
sorry ladies!

OK, I'm off to do some much needed leg shaving so I don't scare the doctors (or the embryos) in the morning.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOLA

Sending you lots of sticky dust so that the little ones stick this time round... I hope htey go back in smoothly and give you don't feel a thing. When I did my accupuncture after the transfer I felt great i just envisaged them implanint gnad growing.

Ms Jen sending a special hug for you as you seem to be getting your share of crapness. I hope the cycle breaks for you as you deserve some good stuff happeneing.

Ms Steph not long on the down hill stretch.. When are you getting your computer??

Ms Littles a shout out to you to come back and let us know what your up to.

I hope you are all well. We are nearly up to 100 pages can you believe that we are still going on this little post. Do you ever wonder if October 2005 is giving us the bad luck?? Maybe we should start a new positive thread.

I am having mixed emotions about wether to start again  There is all that uncertainty and the fact that I have not lost any weight and I sometimes think that being overweight/obese is causing me to not keep the eggs. What to do what to do.... I know some ladies who are bigger then me have babies so I don't know....

Ok ladies time to go again just popped in to say hello...Cheers, Walshy

Hi buds, i'm back---did you miss me?

Well got home at 3pm yesterday and was in work 40 mins later. Did my sleepover and just finished at 3pm today, am whacked.
DH Dad is still in hosp but they are monitoring his infection and hopefully if he continues to stabalise they will allow him home. Thanks for all your kind wishes.

Loops - Oh the pressure, i'm going to burst. Everything is crossed for you bunny. 2ww here you come, were here to keep you occupied.

Walshy - Obese----just you behave. I yo-yo with my weight all the time and at the moment i'm on the heavier side, which i hate. I continually think about it everyday and wish i could be thinner overnight so i know what your going through. Since starting my treatment i gave up swimming and aerobics and can't pull myself back into it again. However i went running last week again and although i was completely knackered  i felt much better and am determined to do something about it. Hang in there and never give up. We will be here for you and remember there are loads of women out there who are much bigger than you and me who manage to concieve and they never even look after thereself never mind there bodies. We are doing it all the right, healthy way and will get there in the end. When you up the duff you won't care what size you are as long as your little bundle comes out healthy

Steph - Talking about weight, i bet your one of these little, mini skinny people as you seem to exercise all the time. Haha me and Walshy think its funny you are heavy now

Little - Come back babe, we need all your news

Me - Welll am feeing exhasted. We have been having so much stress in our life over the last few months and now i need to chill---or try to.
Had a chat to my BIL at the weekend and was casually telling him about our future cycle plans. He then announced that my neice could give us eggs if and when we need them. I was stunned and although grateful i feel it would have to be her who offers this and i would never dream of asking her. This is hopefully something i will never need but you never know. What do you think of donors girs?

Will pop back later to see if Loops has any news

ALERT sloppy bit coming
Good to be back as i missed you guys

Hey dudes - whats the what?

Well, Sid and Babs are back at the newly decorated (and fallop-free) Chez Uterus. Lets hope the constant supply of healing water and fruity goodness induce them to stay on this time. Last time they were armed with GPS, this time I have equiped them with the complete works of Dr Phil....
So they thawed 2 and both survived so I still have 10 left in the tundra. As my dh said, man, are we going to have a large family. Had some pre and post acupuncture with the woman who has catapulted her bad self to position of my favourite person in the world. She is the calm and healing centre of the the fertility world, whatever the outcome.
So now the hard part.....13 days until result. I feel neither positive or negative, its all a bit surreal and distant.

Jen - glad you're back and of course we missed you! You do need to chill chica! Some pampering and rest - I'll write you a prescription. Is important to get recharged and happy again. Are you all sorted for Christmas? I remember last year you pretty much had it all under control by the end of november - kudos!

Steph - where are you? Is it a post-turkey thing? You need a ticker for your due date - I'll pm you one as I remember last time I asked you to do it you claimed doh. How are you feeling??

Walsher - hmmmm, I've thought about that bad luck thing... Looking at everyone who started with us all those months ago, nearly all (ok, so its not us) are pregnant or have even given birth! Just us 4 left so overall is quite a lucky thread... thats my logic anyway. We could re-name if you like? About your question... you're not talking about giving up altogher are you?

Littles!!! Ou???

OK I'm off back to sofa snoozer

See yous laters, potaters

Hey Lovelies!!!

Hows the gang today? .....

Waiting to here from Loos... do tell! do tell! transfer was completely lovely followed by excellent stick- me-with-a-pin session... sid n babs now back home and lovin it! getting cushy cozy in Lolas Landing. Magi bubble is fully loaded for whirlwind of sticky dust.. I am picturing very big snow globe! Demetrio is there too... although I am not sure he got the santa outfit right.. santa would be very cold wearing only red speedo and a tan...

Jens- yeah, hooray.. your back! I likey when wayward members return. I think you should hop in a bubble bath and drink a glass of wine... you deserve it! glad that dad according to law is doing better. As for offer from BIL.... well, when I was told that my eggs may not be good, my sister right away offered hers.. i told her that she better take time to think about it first.. plus I had to think about it. even though it would be your child, there is always a part of you that would worry about the donor not being able to handle their decision.. I didn't think my sister would be able to separate herself, even though she really wanted to do it for me. the more she thought about it, the more she realized that she wouldn't be able to not see it as a biological part of her.. her child. Plus, we worried about the issues of telling the kids.. hers and mine.. they would be cousins and brother and sister in a way. I just worried about the effect on our family. My doc told me that he always recommends using stranger donors... he thinks that it is better that way from what he has seen. On the other hand, my hubby wanted to use my sisters.. he wanted to get as close to me biologically as he could. One of my friends also offered her eggs.. I would probably have taken her up on that.. I knew in my heart that she would be able to separate herself.. she would see it as 100% my child... I think the most important thing is to look at the person who is offering and decide if they would be able to handle it. To you, this child is all yours and hubbys.. you want to make sure that is how they see it too. BUT.... I didn't need donor eggs and neither will you!!!!!

Walshy... Oh pleez, you act like you are Miss Crispy Creme... I have seen the pictures which prove otherwise! you are fab-u. I wouldn't worry about the weight... you already proved you can get pregnant, just need the right sticky. Besides, I AM NOT AND HAVE NEVER BEEN SKINNY. Yep, I exercise like mad fool (well, used to) but that is to stay healthy and so I don't weigh 400lbs.... not because I am skinny. I was really gaining weight during cycles... stress eater! I never lost it... And as we all know, I am preggers. Listen to Jens.. stay healthy, take care of yourself... that is the best.

Camilla- little teaser!

Littles... Lola and her 2ww needs ya!

Pinch and a wink
Steph
