Happy Easter pheonixes :D

Jen - loved your piccie! And great you still have such a GSOH!! Glad you, Adam and Broc are getting away. France sounds jus the ticket - all that clean air, gorgeous scenery and lovely wine. Hugs to you sweetie xxxx

Nicki - hdid AF come eventually? How did the viewing go? Did the viewers seem interested? Its so hard to tell tho. The ones who see really keen end up not putting an offer in and the ones who seem disinterested end up buying! Hope the B & B is still for sale and you can put an offer in. Sealed bids are such a nightmare tho. I'm still hate this Scottish system and I've bought 3 times and sold twice already! Keep us posted. xx PS so nice to hear you so upbeat and cheery

Julie - glad you are once again a social butterfly! Its good to get out - I make sure we do something every day. Have done baby massage and now do swimming and music group as wel as plenty of starbuck coffees andwalks! Any more news on the business front and how's William doing at night now. Hope he's sleeping better for you xx

Gail - lovely to hear from you. Katie took her first steps - bless! You must have been so proud. Did you cath it on video? Gosh you are busy bees the 2 of you but lovely you can spend every day with her :D altho you must be tired with working in the evening. Yes Mia loves her milk but its as if she knows she has to stock up for the night as is asleep by 8 and normally doesn't wake til 7 30pm. Has slept thro since 8 weeks altho not consistently til 14 weeks. She's always been hungry. Am still breast feeding during day but wonder if she would take less if I switched to only formula. Hope to hear from you again soon :P

Kate - hope you had a good Easter. Sorry for being hopeless with dates but are you in Trinidad at mo?? If so hope you are having a fantastic time.

We had a good Easter - met friend for coffee on Friday then had best friend and her partner over for dinner fri nite. Is quite sad as they've been together for 10 yrs - she wants kids, he doesn't and she has dilema over whether to leave him. She'll be 33 soon and is worried that if she hangs around too long waiting for him to change his mind which may never happen she may miss the chance to ttc and have a family- and she is so aware now after everything that's happened to dh and me that she can't take it for granted that she'll be able to ttc naturally anyway. I hope it all works out for them. On Saturday I went out for posh lnch with friends - was worried incase Mia through a wobbly and showed mew up but she was great - good as gold. On Sunday Stew's mum and sis visited so that was nice as thay don't get see Mia that often esp his sis who lives in Merseyside.

Dh was supposed to be on annual leave this week but got told on Thurs last week he wasn't allowed off as its the Easter hols so they might be busy. Was so mad as he's now not off for another week or so  I am so fed up with his crummy work. The sooner he gets another job and we can move back home, the better.

I am off to work tomorrow to see my boss and discuss my return  Think I'll be going back around 29 hrs and start back in mid July. Not liking the idea of going back much but hey ho, the mortgage nees paid!

Well I'm off now. Was out running yesterday and went back to aerobics last week so quite tired til I get used to it all again.

Spk to you all soon xxx

Morning!

Thought it was about time I posted - I have a couple of minutes before my swimming lesson!

Jen - I know what you mean about dates, one of the girls at school is due the day before I would have been - kind of makes it hard doesn't it? It has got easier in some ways but it doesn't stop the 'if only'. Going away to France sounds just the ticket tho, you'll come back a new woman. Good luck with the yoga video - I never have the enthusiasm to do those I have to force myself down the gym!!

Nicky - good luck with the house/B & B stuff - buying in England is stressful enough without the added stress of closed bids!! I'm sure it will work out in the end and you willl get a lovely B & B that we can all come and stay in!!

Lisa - well done on the exercise front - I don't find time to do anything so how you manage with a 6mth old is beyond me! The thought of going back to work must be horrible, but like you said the mortgage has to be paid. What a nightmare with DH job and not getting his annual leave - that's not fair...what would have happened if you had booked to go away somewhere? Surely they have got someone that could cover DH's job for a couple of days?

Julie - how is William? Is he still really hungry?...typical boy - always thinking of his stomach!!

Gail - can't believe Katie has taken her first steps already - bet that was something special?

Hi to everyone else - hope you are all ok?

As for me I've still got 3 and a half days left at school and then the easter holidays. I can't wait to go away and have some sunshine. Friends have just come back from Trinidad and said it was 92 degrees, which in itself is pretty hot but when you add 90% humidity as well its a bit of a nightmare!! We are planning to go and watch some cricket while we are out there, Greg used to go to school with Brian Lara (the West Indies ex captain) so we are hoping to see him while we are there. It will be just nice to relax on a beach and chill ...mmmm can't wait!

Needless to say tmt is on the backburner until we come back. We are still planning to go to Sweden and will arrange for the initial consultation when we get back. All the scans and appointments are done over here, and thankfully the clinic is about 10mins from where I work - no 2hr round trips for a 5min scan anymore!! If it all goes to plan then we are looking at fling out around the 9/10/11th August for EC and then ET 5 days after that.

Greg has arranged for me to see his old homeopathic doctor while we are out in Trinidad and we are hoping he might be able to help us. He managed to get rid of a tumour Greg had on his spine many years ago so fingers crossed he may be able to work some miricle for me....if not Sweden here we come!

Anyway, swimming lesson calls - catch you later

Oh my pheonix friends!!! 3 posts!!! wow!!!!
Kate.....Hope u have wonderful time in trinidad, your school hols were wierd! Round here, kids were off last week & this week. I wondered, what was happening and when u were going off.... 92f sounds lovely, i could do with that!!!! Cant wait for clocks to change at w-end!!!
Aslo best of luck with tmt in Sweden and homepathic tmt in trindad, you never know the homepathic tmt might help and you get preg whilst your'e there!!! (naturally!!!)
GOOD LUCK!!! xxx

Jen....... Yoga, never tried that before, dont know much about it? does it help weight lost? I thought yoga was more for relaxation! Let us know how it goes.....
Oh its hard Jen, and 11th July, will be a hard date, but i know how strong you & adam are so your'll find a way to work thro it togeher. I do hope you can try again, but you take your time. What will be will be!! xxx

Lisa..... Lovely to hear frm ya. No luck with ppl viewing our house. They didnt liek the deco!!!! Arghhh!!! I was mad earlier, our deco is very nice!!!
I cant believe she said that!!! Liked the garden though. Which is crazy as last people said the garden was too big!!!! Arghhhhh!!!
It's not gonna be easy buying this B&B, we are in limbo right now, just have to wait i guess!!!
Trying not to let it stress me!
How did talks go with your boss, re going back to work... I can imagine its gonna be hard after all this time off, but liek u said mortgage needs paying!!! I second what Jen said... could you not transfer to Hospital in ayr area? that would solve your job, and couldnt stew transfer with his compnay? Maybe its not as easy as that, otherwise you would have done so, wish you both the luck in the world!!! It'll happen!! xx
I am so sorry about ur friend, thats hard. Why doesnt he want kids. And even if she left him, doesnt mean she would meet another man anyway!!
Or is she thinking anout donor baby, and being single mum!!!
I guess it depends how much she loves her man!
I really want a baby, but i could never leave mark for a baby, so i would rather have no baby and stay with mark!
I love mark too much!!!
Let us know how she gets on.

Anyway, on that note Mark is in the bath, calling me up. so I'll leave here now.... speak another time!!!

Julie, are you back from yorkshire??? xxxx

Hi all!

Sorry not posted for a while but never seem to have time to self at the mo!

Gail - Hows Katie's walking coming along? Bet it was great to see her first steps. She will definately keep you on your toes now! I totally understand your point of view regarding others and pregnancy. I know you feel blessed, as I do, but it does get infuriating to hear it doesn't it when they have no idea.

Jen - How you feeling hun? Have been thinking about you. Hope the yoga going ok! Never tried it personally - I am not athletic or fit in any way shape or form, especially shape! Hope you have a lovely weekend with parents xx

Kate - William is very hungry but sleeping 9 hours at night now so more feed during the day. Don't mind tho as long as I get good sleep! Have a fantabulous time on holiday! Sounds like the Dr in Trinidad knows his stuff - lets hope it does some good for you.

Nikki - Hows you? Hope the end of the working week was easier on you and your boss laid off!!! Any more thoughts re B&B's you saw? Hope you had lovely anniversary - we didnt do anything for ours but I took Jus for a meal the end of that week for his birthday which was nice.

Lis - Baby massage starts next week and yoga the week after. William had a bad cold last week when Jus was off work so we haven't yet managed to take him swimming but hope to do that next week. Still go to the two baby clubs though although last week was quiet as they were cancelled due to half term. He regularly sleeps to 5.30am now. Hoping 630 when clocks go forward tomorrow! Pants re the going back to work. Time flies sooo quickly! I can sympathise with you re Stews job. Jus works 6 days a week early shifts and they regulalry turn into 12 hour days and getting time off is a mare. 15 years he has been there. Hates it one minute.....but never leaves!!! AAArrrrgggh.

As for me we are all fine. Had a short weekend away at Easter which was nice. Go to Wales on 3 May and cant wait for that. I am just waiting for some test results back from the hospital. They think I have rheumatoid arthritis. I hope they are wrong but symptoms do match up. Have had terrible hand pain/cramp for over 12 months now but also suffering with most joints including knees and elbows and hips. Will know in two weeks time after xrays come back.

Anyways, have a great weekend whatever you are doing xxxxxxxxx

Hi all

sorry been MIA

Nicki hope your on the mend now ...last years memories are so hard when we think what if? does it ever go away??? I would be 26 wks preg now and next door neighbour is 28wks so her bump really puts it all in focus for me  ah well thats life x x x but hopefully life changes are around the corner for you and your passion will be focused else where for a while until the time is right agin for you to try x x x much love x x x

Lisa hope you and stew are doing okay and hopefully getting to move to ayr soon x x x love to mia x x x

Julie is William still keeping you u at night???? x x x hows the job huntin going?

Gail hows the night shifts doing at Tesco? are you managing for any 'me' time? Or is katie taking up all the time ? Bless x x

Kate i know you are away but have a FAB holiday ...wonderful sun and fun with family and DH. just waht you need x x x

love to any lurkers reading this ...

Smita we miss you...please post more about you and Dhurrva....how are you doing?

I am struggling this week . Had a good week last week with family and managed some sun at the weekend. always helps eh!
BUT
Everything has been overshadowed by Dh and work stress. Cant go into too many details just that he thought his boss was actually listening to him, working with stress at work ( for all emplyees) and changes to structures needed within the company. This has been going on for 9 months constant campaigning for changes to staff etc. No one will stand up to the big boss . DH has been. Now we find out the BIG boss is putting the boot in . Big time on his back putting more pressure on him to meet targets or will loose his job. There is a lot more in between the lines here but i cant say....
DH is good though spoken to a lawyer who states he is ok and law on his side so he cant get sacked. But DH is so pissed off with the company and is now looking for a new job. He has put mega work hours in the past 2 yrs as well as his Heart and Soul in this job . My heart goes out to him he is so destroyed by the injustice of it all. We relocated here 2 years ago and totally love where we live, and defo dont want to move. Poor DH x x x

it also means that IVF discussions are on the back burner for a good fews months....that sucks x x x

so we are a bit all over the place just now...doing Cv's and looking through internet for jobs for him. I am okay as i can fit in anywhere (luckily my wage aint much cos of min hours i do) But i really feel for DH and all this added stress.

anyway love to you all

Aww, jen. Life is never easy huh? Sorry to hear about the probs adam is having at work, its hard when things happen out of our control. soundslike this boss is the problem, and if he could rid him from the company its all good.
I know how it is with a naff boss, my boss back in 04/05 was awful i was at the end of my tender. my current boss ok, but shes starting to nag me. arghhhh!!!!
Totally understand about IVF being on the back burner, i constantly think about it and when we might try again, and i i could i would keep doin iui. its not as easy as all that though is it?
We are off the rollercoaster and parts of me feel good about that but also parts of me feel bad, its very hard, and pregnancy around us makes it harder.
Our neighbour across the close has 2 girls they are 9ish i think, about that anyway. and last night now the evenings are light they were playin in the close, i got upset as i stood at the sink washin up lookin out window, i said to mark, i look at these kids and think they should be mine, its hard!!! mark closed the blinds on it, but i said to him just by shutting th blinds it doesnt make it go away!!!
Im poorly, off work again, full of cold and aches and keep crying. i hate it!!!!
So just sittin here in my dressing gown!!!!!
Arghhh!!!
Also house, is sitting here, not sold!Wish it would but nothing.... its tough out there on the housing market!
Im off now, love to ya all bye xxxx
