Off to see Zita!

Post by Kate21 » Thu Mar 02, 2006 11:38 am

Hi Girls,

Haven't posted for a while since my BFN - still feeling quite down about it. DH and I have decided to wait a while before we try again. However, we have decided to go and see Zita! Not sure whether it will do me any good, but I think I need a new/different perspective on things. I'm fed up with my clinic telling me that I had a perfect cycle and then it not working! I know its all a luck of the draw thing with IVF but I just want to hear if there is anything extra I could be doing. So, hopefully the queen of fertility issues will give me some great advice which will make me more positive and then the BFP will happen!

Sorry to be quite so negative at the mo, just can't seem to snap myself out of it! Will let you know what she says and pass on any advice!

Good luck with the appointment - I didn't go and see her, but I did speak to them and got my vitamins from her. They were really helpful and supportive so I hope that you find the answers you need.

Take care.

Hi Kate

That sounds like a great idea. A changed approach may make the difference. Don't worry about feeling so negative - it is normal after such a disappointment. But the fact that you have decided to see Zita shows you are still determined and I'm sure it'll help you to feel more positive. I wish you lots of luck and we'll all look forward to hearing how it goes!

Best of luck with your appointment. Even if she manages to give you some PMA then it will be worth it. Dying to hear how you get on with her.

Hi Kate

A Zita visit sounds like an excellent idea ! I'm in the same boat - ie. perfect cycle and no reason why it shouldn't work. It just DOESN'T !!!! Good luck with your trip.

Shez - Zita is Zita West, an experienced midwife in London. She has a couple of books out. One is "Fertility and Conception", which many girls on this site have read and recommend. It's full of useful info, advice and tips. It's well worth the £15.
