JANUARY/FEBRUARY BUDDIES NEEDED

Hi all, Do you mind if I join you? I've been sniffing for 2 weeks now for a medicated FET. I start taking HRT tablets next Tuesday and have a scan on 19th Jan, then hopefully the ET on the 22nd. Fingers crossed. Good luck to everyone, Love Laura

HI Jan/Feb Buddies Thought I would bring this topic to the top of the list again just so we keep in touch. 'Lo all, just thought i'd pop in here and show me face, as i'm hoping to be a febuary cycler. After IUI in November, we did get pregnant, but unfortunately, i had an early miscarraige, so after waiting for one natural cycle, we are jumping back on the bandwagon. Can't wait!!!!! Af is due around the end of january or the beginning of feb, and then i start injecting on day 2 of my cycle, with IUI scheduled for hopefully around valentines day. Anyways, hi to all, and hope all you ladies are well, and keeping those resolutions....as if!!!! Loadsa love, Heather xxx

Hi All I'm new to posting on the site and am being a bit greedy! I've joined the Feb/Mar cycle buddies but as I actually start sniffing on the 23rd Jan, I thought I could just sneak into the Jan/Feb buddies as well! I'm on my 2nd attempt and having logged onto the site again over the Christmas holidays (having taken a couple of months away from it all), I feel really positive. Helen

Hi all, Well, i should start sniffing today after i've spoken with the hospital. After waiting forever for AF to show up, I've had nothing more than a slight show yesterday so need to confirm with nurse that this can definately count as Day 1 - has anyone else had this problem where they haven't come on full flow (pardon the expression but you know what i mean !) I just want to get started ! ! Good luck to everyone else and keep posting messages, it's so good to be able to talk to people who know exactly what you're going through. lots of love Becky x

Hi everybody, I am jumping into 2 camps aswell as I started sniffing over Christmas but don't have my 1st scan until the 22 Jan. So I am between Xmas/Jan and Jan/Feb. Sorry to be descriptive, but this is my first time sniffing and not to sure what to expect, but I have started to show like old blood (sorry!) is this normal?? Thanks Lisa

Hi Lisa Not to worry if you jump between camps more the merrier. When i went through 1st ivf and sniffing I started to bleed a tiny bit as it was around my period date and my hospital said not to worry about it. Do you know your ec/et dates yet/ Debs

Hi Deb, Finally started sniffing this morning - is it normal to have the bitter taste afterwards (yuk). Booked in for a baseline scan on 27th Jan, then hopefully start injections after that. Guessing at mid Feb for EC ?? How are you doing ? Bex

How are you all getting on???? Itchy nose....my god I can't remember it itchy this bad last!!!!! Feel like I could burst into tears at the slightest thing. Have to wait until 29th until baseline. Mags

Hi all, Yes the spray is disgusting! It tastes foul when it goes down the back of your throat. I also become very emotional when I'm on it. I am on day 3 of HRT now in preparation for a FET. My scan is next Sunday. Good luck to all the Jan / Feb lot. Fingers crossed for lots of positives next month. Love Laura

Hi all I have been sniffing since 9th December and I hadnt reached base line last thursday due to a cyst , had it out on Tuesday and going back tomorrow to have a baseline and scan again, hopefully if I have then I can inject starting tomorrow night then ET will only be a week behind. I have heard that it is quite common to have cysts due to all the drugs that we take ! and yes the sniffer does taste discusting ! Trace x

Hi Deb thanks for the advice, it seems to have stopped today. If I have down reg and everything looks okay I am provisionally booked for e/c on the 3rd Feb and e/t the 5th Feb. Hopefully all goes to plan. I can't believe that in 6 weeks time I should be getting a - or + result, it is quite scary. I usually have a drink when I sniff so all I can taste is that, it takes away the horrible taste. My worry is that I have sneezed it all away again. Anyway take care everybody Love Lisa

Dear Deborah, How are you? We were cycle-buddies the last time and it was my 3 rd try. This time ,I'm sniffing/injecting from 15th and the baseline scan is for the 28th. Best of luck.

HI BUDDIES Bex & Anna13 - our dates are virtually the same mine are ec-12/2 and et-14/2. Traci Hope your scan went well today and your finally got your dates. Lisa Don't worry about sneezing, my hospital said that as long as you don't sneeze for about 5-10 mins after a spray then the drugs should have been absorsed into your body. Last time I had IVF i didn't have any side effects i hope i dont again as it sounds 'crap' girls. KEEP OUR FINGERS CROSSED FOR EACH OTHER Love Debs
