Pomegranate juice improves blood flow for endo & pg

Postby sophie » Wed Jun 14, 2006 7:12 pm

Thought I would pass on this info:

Pomegranate juice is apparently good for blood flow and therefore excellent in thickening up you lining. It is also excellent for pregnancy. This is because pomegranates have a high level of cobalt (hence the red colour). Cobalt is an essential ingredient of haemoglobin (present as cobalamine) and it is that part that absorbs and transports oxygen. Cobalt is therefore the essential raw material for synthesis of blood and also has the added benefit of being high in iron.

For those in the UK, I have just bought some juice (brand name POMEGRATE) from tescos and it tastes quite nice.

Don't know whether it works but hell, it tastes nice so why not?

Yes, it's highly recommended for pregnancy.
