Hello there everyone. I am 34 years old and have just had my first embryo transfer. I am due to have my pregnancy test this thursday dec 21. I am getting headaches everyday along with cramps all which are making me feell like I am starting my menses. I am not tired, altough I did have one day of extreme tiredness and dizziness. My cramps seem to go one forever now. Almost a week and a half. I keep running to the little girls room to see if there is any spotting-NOTHING. How can I stay sane until Thursday without wondering every time I go to the bathroom or wake up in the morning that I am going to have my period! Help!

Hi Sat,

Welcome to one of the most supportive forums you can stumble on. I can so relate to what you are feeling right now. I had my ET of 4 embies on 12/12 and have my first blood test Wed. and second one on Friday. I am also having cramps, not bad ones, just like annoying ones, but enough that it's making me nervous that AF is coming. I'm trying to stay positive and from what people say, pregnancy symptoms and AF symptoms are similiar. I've said that shots, meds, hormones, dr. appts, etc. don't compare to this waiting period. All I can say is hang in there and feel free to vent here.

take care,
