Post by waitin4baby » Tue Jan 02, 2007 3:15 am

 I AM NEW TO THIS AND READING NOTES FROM EVERYONE GAVE ME THE NERVE TO LOG ON TO THIS WEBSITE. MY HUSBAND AND I DON'T HAVE ANY KIDS TOGETHER. HE HAS A SIXTEEN YEAR OLD DAUGHTER FROM A PREVIOUS RELATIONSHIP. I HAD A INTESTINE PROBLEM AND FOUND OUT WHY I COULD NOT GET PREGNANT. MY INTESTINES WAS ROUTED THROUGH MY TUBES AND DRAINING THROUGH THEM. THEY FIXED MY INTESTINES AND REMOVED MY TUBES. I HAVE NOT SET UP MY IVF CONSULT YET. MY DOCTOR INSISTED I CHECK OUT THIS SITE. I THANK EVERYONE FOR THE HELP THROUGH THIS . I HAVE NO FRIENDS GOING THROUGH THIS NOR ANYONE I KNOW. THIS IS SO GREAT AND HEARTWARMING TO ME . THANKS EVERYONE :D

waitin: So glad that you found this site. sounds like you have really been through the ringer! You have found a great place w/women who will be able to share in the ups, and support you through the downs. Myself, i don't have any friends who have done or are doing IVF. So although i didn't find the forums until my 2nd cycle, they have been invaluable to me. when are you hoping to do IVF? i strongly suggest that once you know when you will be cycling, you join a thread of women cycling at the same time.

The best of luck to you!!!

welcome waitin!!!

i agree with sassy and think you should join a thread in the general forum as soon as you know when yuo are likely to start ivf. or even if you roughly know you can join straight away.

its very difficult when you dont know anybody that is going through the same thing (i dont know anybody where i live either) so the support you get on here is invaluable!!! you can ask any questions that you may have, have a laugh, a moan, a giggle or a cry!! it really is unbelievable how all the ladies (and gents) stick together on this site!!

anyway, hope to hear from you soon!

hi i'm new today also
we are just starting tests so we can go ahead with icsi.
my partner has a little girl from a previous relationship also, even though we have just been told he has low sperm count.. i found it makes it harder when your partner has a child already don't know how you feel?
