new using donor eggs

Postby amy27 » Fri May 09, 2008 10:53 pm

Hello All,
Baby dust to all of you! I was on the boards about 4 months ago when we did our first IVF which didn't work out. I had cancer and the chemo killed most of my eggs, coupled with my age 37, we decided to try IVF a second time with donor eggs. My donor has been stimming for 5 days and has 10 follies. We are praying that they all mature to a good size and hope to have the ER on the 16th since our wedding is on the 17th if you can believe it.. I know, crazy, right! Would love to hear from others that are dealing with similiar things, donor eggs or similiar cycle..

much love,
amy :)

Welcome amy!
wow- I hope everything goes great for you- I didn't realise that some DEs are fresh- cool- I guess I just assumed they would be frosties

from personal experience, the follies take their own sweet time growing, so I hope the time works for you all. Happy wedding day, and get yourself ready to relax for your ET

cheers to you all

Our donor goes in for ER tomorrow AM!! She had 5 mature and 5 more that ranged in size from 9-13 on Wed, so we are hoping for more than 5 at ER time. Our ET is set for Monday.. I have my acupuncturist on standby for it.. truly feel like it helps relax the uterus.. How are you and where are you in your cycle?

Warmest Regards,
Amy
