What to do next? Confused, Upset,

Hi, I am new to this too! My partner and I have been trying for what seems like forever, I don't have regular periods, my last one that means something was December 07, I am 32 years old, fairly healthy and weight just over 11 stone and still losing weight on a ww programme. My consultant thought I had PCOS, but after having an internal scan 2/3 weeks ago, the doc said that I had no obvious signs and that I have just ovaluated, the previous day. Ofcourse you can imagine how we felt, quite elated, and then ofcourse bonked until we dropped for 4 days ( :)
My worry is now that, ( we are going to do a test next sat to see if there is a baby or not) and I know if there isn't I wll be distraught! But where do I go from there? We are on NHS waiting list, but seeing consultant privately (not cheap at all)! Just wondering if anyone else is going thru this like me?
