getting pregnant with only one tube, that is swollen

Postby jnitro26 » Sun Sep 13, 2009 10:29 pm

i am new to this site, and i have been through alot, in may, i had emergency surgery for a ruptured ectopic, and they removed my right fallopian tube, it was actually my second ectopic, they both were on the right side, so after all that, a couple weeks ago i went to the fertilty dr to get my left tube checked, and he told me that it was swollen, and i need ivf. now my question is, has anyone ever gotten pregnant with only one tube that is swollen. i guess i am just having a hard time believing i need ivf. any input would be great,
thanks
