New to IVF

Postby melliot7 » Fri Jan 27, 2006 5:52 pm

Hello my name is Melissa and My DH and I have done 4 IUI's without success. We have our orientation on 02-08-2006 for IVF. When we went through the IUI's I had told my family and friends they worried me so much after each procedure they would call and ask did it work. The worst part was that it did not. Dh and I have decide to tell no one except our boss's at work they need to know that we will be taking off at the spur of the moment. So I would have to say I will be relying alot on you guys for emotional support. With those hormons going crazy. I am so nervous. We waited a year for our insurance to approve us for IVF and just two days ago I recieved the approval letter in the mail along with a phone call. I cried. But the chances for success are so low. I am 27 yrs old with unexplained infertility. I know I am young but my husband and I have been trying for 5yrs. This wait just for the orientation is to much. We are redoing our bathroom now so that is keeping us some what busy but just not enough for me.

hi Melissa and welcome to the site. Loads of ladies here willing to share experiences and advise. Any questions just ask, there is usually someone who can help. You may like to join a thread on the general forum and cycle alongside ladies at the same stage of tmt or just join in for a chat. I have found this site an absolute godsend in terms of support.

Wishing you good luck with your tmt and maybe see you on a thread?
