Hello,

I've just had my bloods taken at my local hospital IVF clinic for HIV/ Hep B and C but my next appointment is not for 2 months. My question is, if there was a problem, would the hospital get in touch before the next consultation or would they wait until then to tell me ?

Please help to set my mind at rest. It is NHS IVF clinic in a public hospital

Thanks

Hi,

I'm sure if there was a problem you would get a call or letter from the NHS to either visit your GP or the consultant. You mustn't worry too much. Ring up and ask for results after 4 weeks if you feel your desperate and they will mail them to you.

It's probably best to post these kind of questions on the general forum where they will be picked up quicker.

Best of luck.
