Help PLEASE!!!!!!! Fluid in Uterus & no triple layer

Hi,
I am 12 days past first day of my period and I had an ultrasound today. I am doing a natural FET this month. My uterine lining is 8mm, fluid left over in my uterus from my period and no Triple Layer. I usually don't ovulate until day 17 or so.

Is it possible for the fluid to go away and the triple layer to appear?
I am waiting for a phone call this afternoon from the DR.

Is there something that can be done to prevent this next time?
