bell - Good luck tomorrow!! Sending you lots of sticky dust your way.

Well, we ended up with a lot of rain and some wind. We are under tornado warning and flash flood till midnight I think. Overall, we have done pretty well. Glad we didn't lose power. After Katrina we didn't have power for a month and that sucked.

Hope everyone had a great Labor day weekend!!

Hello Ladies,

Well, I have my ER scheduled! :) It's this coming Thursday. I'm feeling quite nervous about it. :? Had my last ultrasound and it looks like I have 15! follicles that are of good size (RE says anything over 15 has a chance of having a mature egg). I have 13 that are 16 and over and two that are 15. I also have two that are 14 mm and the nurse said that they may catch up and I will end up with 17 eggs to be retrieved!! I think that's pretty exciting :D . My concern, though, is that they are not going to be good eggies :(. At this point, the infertility is kind of unexplained as both endometriosis and PCOS are being treated. My worry (and I think my RE's worry as well) is that the eggs are of poor quality :(. We'll see. I'm really really hoping that out of all these something will develop into a good embryo :), even if it's just one.

I'm triggering tonight and I have a question. When did you guys start bloating up in a serious way? Right after triggering? After ER?

bell - good luck on your BETA today!!

Looks like we have most people's beta coming this week. I'm keeping PMA for everyone here :D You ladies are incredibly strong and courageous and I'm praying that this will be IT for you!!! Image

Hi Girls,

Back to work for me yesterday - bit of a shock to the system when the alarm went off at 6.30am!! I haven't been getting up until 9 most mornings!!

Bell - good luck with the beta tmr, I also have mine and my PMA has completely left me!! I haven't POAS and don't think I will as it will just depress me all day.

Val - how you feeling? I'm sure you will get your BFP this time around. Are you still doing AP?

Turtles - a faint positive is a positive so congrats!!! Glad to hear Gustav didn't cause too many problems

MzTia - hope the stimming is going along nicely?

SueQiwi - you'll be stimming before you know it! Not long now!!

To all those on the dreaded 2ww hope it is not too bad? Try not to analyse every symptom (easier said than done!!).

As for me my beta is tmr and I am dreading it!! I think I prefer being oblivious and can pretend that I am preggers while I don't have to test! This really is our last try and I'm not sure how I will cope if the news is bad? At the start of the 2ww my PMA was really high and I had some cramping etc and really thought this was my time. The closer the test date gets the less PMA I seem to have. My boobs seem to have lost their soreness, I have had little or no cramping since Saturday night (it was really quite painful that night tho!) and I am just terrified or getting this result!

Anyway, enough depression from me, what will be will be and there is nothing I can do to change it now. My AP was positive last night (they can tell you are preggers by taking our pulses - apparently it is different? ) and said it looked good so I am hanging on to that last thread of hope!

Good luck to all those testing, I will post when I have news.

Kate :D

SHELLBELL, TURTLES and KATE - WISHING YOU ALL THE BEST ON YOUR BETA's TOMORROW.

lynniecat- keeping my fingers crossed that Hanna doesn't hit on Saturday so you can have ER.

Bell - Good luck with your Beta test. There is still some hope that the HPT's are wrong.

Kate21 - I am with you, at the begging of the 2ww I was so positive. Now it is really hard. I keep trying to have PMA but in the back of my mind I keep telling myself that this did not work. I have hear that the AP can tell if you are preggers so that is a good sign.

Muggsey, Kas, Toobee and Shellbell - This is going to be the longest week ever. I also feel like AF is just waiting to show her ugly head. I had cramps all day yesterday but today don't feel much. Still not getting my hopes up because this is usually how my bodies reacts when AF is coming.

Turtles - Did you POAS again? Can't wait to hear that your line is darker.

I am going to POAS again tomorrow. Praying for that BFP.

Good morning girls!!

The mood is kind of pessimistic on the board this morning and I'm one of them too! AAAARRGHHH..this is so hard. What our minds can do is simply amazing.

Kate~ I can relate to how you feel today. That PMA is so hard to hang on to. Your AP said that you were prego and that's a great sign. You had cramping and that very good too. I think the boob soreness can come and go, but I'm with you that I don't like to feel it go away.
Good luck tomorrow with your beta, but it sounds like you'll get your BFP!!

Lynniecat~ I Know that fear about the hurricanes and messing up a cycle. I feared that Fay would mess my cycle and thankfully it didn't.
I think you'll be fine. Try and stay relaxed. Maybe you can camp at your RE's office just to be sure that you'll be there. How are your follies doing?

misfixit~ Sounds like a fantastic cohort of follies in there! Congrats and wishing you the best for ER on Thursday!. Why do they suspect that you have poor egg quality. You're only 34, that's real young...it should be just fine.

SueQiwi~ So good to hear from you!. I know what you mean about the bcps making you nauseous..I had the same thing. You're on your way to a BFP!! A little bit longer to go. Keep us posted and I'll look for you on the other thread too! Hugs

Kimmysq~ Thank you so much for checking on me!! One more week to go before beta! i hope you're doing well too! Thinking about you!

Shellbell and Turtles~ Hope to see more BFPs to add to our team August list!! Best of luck and I'll be thinking about you!!

turtles~ I'm glad that Gustav left you alone and that all went well. That's a relief. Now you can leave on vacation peacefully!

Well, after writing all this, I do feel a little better. My DH helped me as well ...he pointed out all the symptoms I have and how silly I was for not feeling prego. Made me laugh and I must say that my lack of PMA is totally unfounded. But that's the way we feel sometimes.
i hate all this waiting like all of you and last night I had a tough time to write anything but found out that it helps me this morning. I'm going to AP this afternoon and I hope she can tell me that I'm prego too, like kate's AP told her.

Stefanie~ Sounds like you better get ready for twins, those are awesome betas!! When is your US scheduled? :D

Chris~ If you have AF type cramps, it's probably a good sign. It's not time for your AF to be here is it?
I used to get horrible cramps when I had my ovarian cyst but I don't get them at all anymore during a regular cycle.
I hope you get to see that line on your POAS!!

I'll check in later...I took this entire week off ..I figured it can only help!

Much love and lots of hugs!

Congrats to all the ladies who are getting pg this round and everyone else, hang on to that hope!

Turtles -- I am glad the storm was not so bad. I was really worried for the people down on the gulf coast who are still recovering from Katrina.

I am hoping tomorrow will show good follicles, but I have my back up plan with CCRM in Denver if not. I feel better already, less worried. I will probably be asked if I want to cancel. But I have the usual number of follicles and since I am leaving this job, I won't have insurance for the next round anyway, so I will go ahead even with just 3...

Val - If I wasn't on PIO I would be getting AF anytime now. It was 4 weeks from previous AF on Saturday or Sunday. If I wasn't on PIO I would say I would start AF on Wednesday or Thursday. Since I am on PIO I would not actually get AF till after I stop the shots. When I did my IUI last time and had to take PIO I had exactly the same cramps and started spotting a little. I know all my signs can point in both directions to being pregnant or not being pregnant, it is just that I have had so many BFN's I just can't see where this can end up getting a BFP. I have gotten my hopes up too many time before. I know most all of you can relate. This just sucks!!! Sorry to keep everyone down. Like I said before I was so happy last week and this week I am a whinny ninny.

lynniecat - That must be hard on both you and DH to live apart. Glad you got an appointment with CCRM but you won't need it. This cycle will be the one for you. Then you and DH can be back living together. Gosh, I don't know how you can live apart and do IVF and not go insane.

OK so I just talked myself into a better mood. I was just emailing another lady that was on the April/May board that is now PG. I pretty much was whinnying like I did on my earlier post. Anyway I just figured out once again that there is nothing I can do about it. I can not change the outcome so whatever happens happens, there is no use in me being stressed over it. I still have at least one more cycle that insurance will cover so this is not the end of the world. Gosh I feel so much better. (well at least for now. )

I was saying the exact same thing as you in your latest post! :D
Everybody on this board should never feel guilty about feeling bad or having feelings of despair. What we are all going through is not an easy feat and defintley not for the weak. Seriously the hormones dont exactly help our PMA at times either. I am so glad you bounced back so quickly from your earlier PMA. I feel the same as you, in fact exactly the same as you. I have strugged throughout this rollercoaster ride and still have fleeting momnets when Mama Negativity wants to have her way with me  I take great comfort in knowing I have done all I can both emotionally and physically to help make this cycle work. Now is up to mother nature and the fertility gods to see the rest through. I am prepared for either outcome. 8)

to_have_fun Glad you are feeling in better spirits - i know its really hard and i feel your pain right now...

I feel i am about to start AF as well. I think looking at my calendar that AF would be due tomorrow and i am feeling like i am on track for that. Got another BFN today on first reponse test.

Although our insurance does not cover IVF so we have paid for this out of pocket, my DH's work is changing insurance in April and it does cover 3 rounds of IVF, so there is some hope, but i know i will go out of my mind having to wait 8 months to try again, especially with a diminishing ovarian reserve!!! AAAARGGGG!!!! i want so bad for this to have worked and i think i am lingering somewhere between a false hope fantasyland and the harsh reality. WHy oh why cant we all get a BFP ???????
