On average, is there a correlation with beta and gestation - singleton, twin, etc ? For those with twins, do u remember ur 1st beta?
Someone had shown me a website about this, but i can't remember...any advice?

Hi Babyloves. Here's a link to the website that I have. It's an average of betas posted by women who are pregnant.
I think it will help you.
http://www.betabase.info/showBasicChart.php?type=Twin
I'll see if I can find out more.
Best of luck.

Hi Babyloves ~
I am 23 weeks preggers with twins from my first IVF in March. My nurse and RE said that they can't really totally rely on beta numbers to indicate twins. I, however, think that there is a correlation. You can tell from my siggy what my beta numbers were. Also, I POAS 9 days past 3 day transfer and I was definitly preggers!
Good luck!

Congrats!!!!! That's wonderful!
I spent a lot of time looking up beta numbers too! From mine, it could have been either one or two or more, it fitted into any category - so I don't think you can honestly tell, it could be one super strong one, but looks like more to me! Good luck Monday

My first beta with my twins was a 129. Not an astronomical number but evidently good enough : )
My first beta was also 9dp5dt.

THANKS AMAZU! Yes they are a handful, but sooo much fun as well. Hope you all are as lucky as I was in this experience. My doctors didn't feel that positive about my chances, but I stayed positive, did everything that the docs told me to do, and it seemed to have worked. Good luck to everyone : )
