Renee, sprouthaus is correct. Do not assume anything until the beta comes in. There are so many reasons for the symptons that you are going thru. Think about all the meds that we have taken. Our body is def going to react to all of that. Hang in there and think positive thoughts. Try and distract yourself with something or listen to some relaxing music to remove the stress. it definitely helps me. I will be thinking of you.

Babyhope, They said a little bleeding is a normal reaction from the hormones I'm taking. It's stopped so I'm hoping it stays away. Makes me too nervous.

Renee, I see you are a military wife too. We share some common grounds. Don't give up hope. I've learned through this a lot of things are not the same as when I was pregnant 18 years ago. I never had to go through the spotting for one. When I thought all was lost, I ended up with a miracle. You just never know....

Thinking snuggling baby thoughts is good advice for all of us! I just came back from my ET and was very disappointed to learn that of the 6 eggs that fertilized, only two became viable embryos. The embryologist said they were very high quality and my RE said the transfer was perfect.

I am a little depressed that we have none to freeze - but it only takes one, right? Even though the 2ww is going to be hard, I'm happy that I don't have appointments and shots to worry about for now!

Baby dust to all...

I know I'm joining this thread a bit late:) since we transfered one 8-cell one 5-cell today on day 3 ET.

Our 1st failed IVF, we had four 8-cell embies, so they pushed us out to day 5 ET and had transfered a 2BB and a Morula...neither one of which took. So to me going by stats, ours seem much worse this time and its really hard to remain positive.

I asked the Dr. if there was really any point in the 5 cell transfer if it really should be at least at 6 on day 3, and she said people are often successful w/ it, but have a feeling she was only saying it to keep me positive.

Oh well, guess just gotta wait and watch what happens now. I saw at least one other person that had their transfer today, so good to know I have company in this cruel 2ww...

Bubbles 13 - I don't know much about any of this (we're in our first completed IVF cycle) - but I have to believe if your Dr. has hope, than so should you!

It is so nice to know that there are others who will be biting their nails with me these next 2ww. My office RE doesn't test until 12 days after transfer - seems so far away! I was expecting my beta on 10/13, but looks like it is scheduled for 10/15. I'm sure I'll break down and POAS before then.

Sorry I've been away. Stimming really hit me hard. We have a ton of follicles and I've been up to our clinic every day for a week (which is an hour away). I was so uncomfortable some days it was hard for me to walk, sit and stand. Then I'v been having leg pains, aching more like. Dr. thinks its fluid and/or combination with estrogen. I feel like I'm going crazy rubbing my legs looking for clots every other minute. We are scheduled for ER Sunday in the AM. Something like 11 big follies on each side and many small ones. I've also had morning type sickness and not felt like eating much. I'm anxious and nervous about the upcoming days.

There is a Saint in Naples Italy that is for woman who can not get pregnant. She has done so many miracles and people from all over the world go to see her. Before my next round I have to go and be blessed. Her name is Santa Maria Francesca della Cinque Piaghe ( St Maria Francesca In Naples, IT ). I will pray for all. If you want the link or a picture email me i will send it to you. email is

trippsmomma - It sounds like you have had a very stressful few days. Driving an hour every day to get to the clinic AND being so uncomfortable. I can't even imagine. I stimmed for 10 days and the bloating never got too bad - but I had ER 3 days ago and I am still sooooo uncomfortable from the procedure. Doc said it will take a week or so - ugh.

Hopefully your pain and discomfort will be all worth it for tons of eggies with all of your big follies!

Just wanted to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and prayers. My ET went perfectly and my one embryo made it beautifully out of the thaw. always knew that one was a strong one. I finished my 24 hr bed rest and now will just hang around the house and watch tv.

Now the dreaded 2ww. My clinic is not going to test until 10/16. Not sure if i will last that long but will try.

trippsmomma, hang in there. it will all be worth it. Good luck to everyone else. Baby dust to all.
