i'm going a bit nutty wanting to know if kas and the babies are ok...just thinking lots about them. and i guess getting a bit scared about the fallibility of life. it's coming up more for me as i shop for baby stuff, and get prepared- wondering if i'll really be ok...who knows what will happen to any of us.

both elida's and kas' losses have me feeling so sad...i've been watching these 'birth stories' on tv this week as i took extra days off, and 2 episodes were advertised as couples with 'fertility challenges'/ 'went through a great deal to get pregnant' / miracle babies........WELL, i'm sorry, but what these couples went through is nothing compared to us (not that i don't get that it was hard for them), BUT being on clomid for a few months before getting a BFP on a HPT- whatever. try multiple cycles, injections, miscarriages, BFN's after IVF....christ, we've all been through the ringer. then to lose a baby after an early birth...i was about to say 'i just can't fathom the pain'- but i think maybe i can, cause it's been my nightmare.

i'm sorry, i'm rambling. and i probably sound like a downer. this is all just so precious, i'm afraid i'll lose it all like i have before. i'm not used to success.

well i'm going to head out into the sun and enjoy the air and the flowers (maybe attack the weeds too).. acknowledge my sadness and anxiety and try and move on. kas if you're listening i'm praying for you and the health of the babies.. karen

hey everyone,

just an update, and wanted to tell karen to stop worrying :D elida and i both had hi risk pregnancies from the start, you are doing great and at nearly 30 weeks your baby will do great even if born now!!! at 28 weeks chances of survival are 90-95% so get all the clothes ready for your healthy boy!

as for me i am still laying flat trying to move as little as i can.... my new goal is 25 weeks but we take evryday at a time, i still have lots of contractions and pressure so far we get another shot everyday, thanks for all your kind words about hunter, i could honestlt sit and cry my heart out over him, but for now i am being strong for the others and we will get thru this :)

love to you all

hi kas!!! i'm so glad your babies are still inside with more time to develop into healthy births....that's wonderful news. i think i would be the same as you - focused on the others right now..your grief for hunter will come later when the time is right..the others need your undivided attention for now.

thanks for keeping us in the loop despite how busy you must be with just hanging in there. i believe a miracle is happening as we speak in you.

as for me, i enjoyed gardening yesterday with many breaks in between as i get winded easily. nathan is moving around lots and i feel larger everyday. it's wild now for me- i'm at the point that people don't ask 'are you pregnant?'....instead they casually ask 'so when are you due?'.. questions like this are such a marvel to me- i'm a bit stunned at times and even suspicous they mean 'due with pregnancy'- it's crazy how my brain works.... i worry i still don't look pregnant, even though it's incrediby obvious. i have gained 21 lbs, and it's literally all in my belly.

anyways, love to all, karen

So I am now 26 weeks and still not really showing. Just had a friend here staying with us who still has no clue. He was giving me a hard time for not having a glass or wine and asking where I put he real Lynn! I feel so nervous to tell anyone as I think I will jinx things.

Case in point, I told my mom yesterday (yup just told her).. I figured mothers day would be appropriate. Then last night, I went to pee, and boom...blood! I tell you its my body's way of saying keep it quiet. I had orangey spotting and nothing today or through the night last night..so I am hoping it was just polyps. I was giving my dog a bath right before that and he slipped in the tub (it was awful as he smashed the hip he broke a couple years ago). Anyway I panicked and grabbed him to steady him and maybe in the process irritated my way too sensitive cervix??? Not sure....

Anyway, so maybe next month I will be showing????

Glad to here you are still hanging on there Kas and you are doing well Karen!!!

Just thought I would drop in to say "HI". Not much is going on with me. I am now officially set to go in July. I was lucky to get in for that month. I thought they already had me on their list. Come to find out they didn't and when I asked about it they only had 2 slots left. I would have been so pissed if I had to wait till August.

Kas - Hope you are still hanging in there and your little girls are doing well.

Ny - Haven't heard from you in a while. Are you stimming again?

Gina - Glad to see that you and baby are doing OK. That must be nice to take that much time off of work. Now you can take a little break before the baby is born.

Karen - sounds like things are going well with your pregnancy. I am so happy for you.

Lynnie - I am sure in the next couple of weeks you will thinking that you have a beach ball inside of you. Keeping my fingers crossed that everything is good with your little baby.

Oh ladies, it has been such a long time since I caught up. Things are well for me but I am so sad about all the news I just read. It breaks my heart, just breaks it.

It makes me think how fragile life is and that it truly is a miracle, one so many take for granted.

I am doing well, the babies are 23 weeks now and growing. It looks like I swallowed a watermellon, whole!!! I am due on September 11th of all days but say August because as we all know these little ones come early. Baby A is a boy, baby B a girl. No names yet, I suppose I am like Karen in that I am not used to success either. People are buying me things and I am afraid to get attached to it and the idea of really having little ones running aroud. My mind can't wrap around that. Then again, at 24 weeks the chances of survival are there, its just still so early.

I am starting to feel the pressure of babies in/on my bladder and lungs, its almost hard to catch my breath at times. Nothing to worry about...nothing to complain about. After what we all have been through!

For the board, I am thinking for Kas that she has one boy and 2 identical twin girls. I thought I read something about three girls. Lynnie-I can't believe you waited so long to tell your mom!!! I do understand.

I will keep you all in my prayers.

Hi Ladies -- Now I am wondering about leaking amniotic fluid. I normally have a yellowish mucous-y discharge which the doctors have seen and they say its totally normal.

So I always wear a liner, but now I see a bit of the discharge and then the outline of wetness on a lot of the liner. TMI I know!

So I wonder if the wetness is fluid. It does not seem to have an odor or color. Gross that I smelled it...man the things infertility does to you!

Thoughts?

I go in for a scan tomorrow...I am now 26.5 weeks...I keep thinking get me to 28 weeks where the chances get higher for success! I know at 24 weeks its 50 50 and that was a big milestone for me as well. I know for Kat too. Though Kat -- I though the multiples matures faster so I think the 3 little ones have a better chance than 50 50 at 24 weeks right?

Babyhope --- yeah my mom was not even upset, she was surprised, but maybe she was not doing the math...I said the number of weeks and due date, but she was prob not thinking 6 months! Who knows, maybe she is steaming away right now! But I am the only daughter so she might be too excited to be mad!

I just do not want to have to tell people bad news if we fail AGAIN! Anyway at this point, everyday I still feel her moving, I think one day closer! Each day is so great for me and hopefully soon I will be 35 weeks. Funny, I dont even think 40 weeks anymore, I just think go for 35!

HI Ladies:

I hope this post finds everyone doing well. I wanted to updated everyone on Angelina and Arianna, Arianna is now off the vent and on Si Pap. I started Kangaroo care with her 3 days ago, it feels amazing to be able to hold her even though she is stillunder 2 pounds. She is doing great and now that off the vent her lungs will be able to mature and heal.

Angelina is on an Osolator vent, it is easier on her little lungs and giving them a chance to stay opened so she gets more Oxogen. She is also being treated fopr a PDA, which on a full term baby usually closes on its own in the first 48 hrs. With Micro premies it can open and close for a while before staying closed for good.

We miss our Baby Alexa very much and will be holding a Mass for her in the next few weeks. Every little thing reminds us of her. We do however know she is in Gods hands now and will be watching over her sisters always.

I will keep everyone posted on their progress. Wishing everyone much baby dust and healthy happy babies

oh lynnie..you made me laugh... mostly because i've done the same thing!! yes, including- smelling my underwear..we are a crazy bunch...

discharge does increase in pregnancy, but it's hard to tell what's what. it's good you're having the u/s. that'll put your mind at ease. i'm sure everything is wonderful :)

elida, i'm so glad the girls are doing well. that's wonderful you're doing a service for alexa. she's a much loved angel.

baby hope..good to hear the twins are doing well. you and i always relate with our 'suspiciousness' of success. hopefully it will all be a distant memory soon.

chris- so glad you didn't have to wait til august! we'll be your july cheering squad.

hi kas, - can't wait to hear how you and the babes are. hi gina, wonder, ny, wishing and pixel.

afm- had a couple rough days physically, feeling very run down while at work, just tiring easily. nathan's moving lots. one of my young, male clients saw my stomach move and it was so cute! he's like 'omigod- youre stomach just moved'.....i saw the delight in his eyes as i know he wants to have a family one day. i figure i'll go off work a month before my due date, i was hoping to make it longer, but i think it'll just be torture if i try.
wishing everyone a great weekend

Had my ultrasound and Katherine is now in the 54th percentile for weight at 2.2 pounds! I am so happy, she totally caught up!

On the bad side my cervix is starting to funnel (open) on the inside. I am having a lot of BH contractions so they sent me to labor and delivery for a few hours to monitor me, but let me go. They were worried about preterm labor, but think I am good for now!

I assume I will go early...but the longer we make it the better!

Hey Ladies,

Sorry i have been quiet since we lost Hunter, but it has been hard

I am cautiously pleased to announce that last week at 25w i had an emergency c-section as i was fully dilated they were on the way !

I now have my 3 babies (one boy 2 girls, names to follow) in the NICU and of course i am totally in and obsessed with love them. Please be easy on the congrats as every day is so scary right now. They are hooked up on all the tubes and ventilators of course and each day i hold my breath when i go in to see them. They are doing 'as well as expected' but they are absolutely gorgeous babies :D

I am getting the hang of pumping now, i started of slowly but bow i am a little dairy!!

Thinking of you all so much - Lynnie, i also had a lot of leaking and this was from baby A's sac whhich was leaking, so please rest up and take it easy, its feet up time i think .... I am wishing you all the best

Thanks for your amazing support so far ladies, i wil update more regularly now i am back home. If anyone is having a C-section and want the gory details, let me know!!

NY, will be sending all the postive vibes, and Chris, hope you are doing well, i will try to catch up with how your cycle is doing

Love to you all
