Michele- I'm so sorry about your -hpt again :( , I hope you will get a surprise BFP when they call. It is so unfortunate that all of us not only have to go thru all the meds, pain etc of IVF but also the financial part of it and then only to not succeed and have our hearts broken all over again. I will keep my fingers crossed for you that you will hear good news today and that you won't have to worry.

The money will work itself out, it may just be longer than you planned. Ella is a miracle! One day she will know what her mommy went through to have her....and she will love you even more for it! Sorry it took so long for me to post.

I figured they saved their bad phone calls for the end of the day. I had to go to tutoring at 2:30 and when I got done at 4:30, I called dh for the news, and it was bad as we expected. They said hcg was lower than 5 and to stop progesterone and I would get my period in a couple of days. We have an appt with RE tomorrow afternoon to discuss what happened or what's next.

We just tried to call capital one to extend the amount on our healthcare loan and they said they are no longer doing the loans, so nothing we can do there. I guess we will just try and figure it out, see what the dr says tomorrow.

I am surprised I am taking this so hard. I know I will get over it and move on, and yes I know I have my beautiful little girl that I thank my lucky stars for everyday, but I still can't help to feel sad about it all.

Thank you all for your support....and I will still be around and hopefully cycling again soon, I may just need a couple days to relax my mind.

Michele, I'm so sorry to hear your news. I felt like we were kind of going through the same thing on this March/April thread being that we both had experienced BFP with our first IVFs. Unfortunately we have now both faced BFNs too. I was really sad too. But like you've said, in a couple days you'll be ready to hop back on the saddle! I start my rollercoaster ride all over again this Thursday. I know you won't be far behind me! Good luck! Here's to BFPs the next time!

Michele - hun, I'm so very sorry about your BFN, I was praying that you would get good news yesterday and your embies were just implanting late. Nothing I can say is going to make you feel any better at the moment, but it will get a little easier with each day, for both you and DH. Do let us know how you get on with your RE today and what you decision is regarding your FET. You have lots of beautiful frosties waiting for you, when you feel ready to move forward. How is your DH feeling? Make sure you take care of each other...

sportsmom - how are you doing? Are you resisting those HPT's?

sbr - good luck for starting again Thursday!

Neffi - I so hope this is your time too! Good luck for ER tomorrow, let us all know how you get on.

estrellita - did your ET go well? Hope you are enjoying being PUPO! If you had 10 embies on day 5 I guess you must have lots of beautiful frosties too?

amfmbaby - how did ER go? Do you have your fertilisation report?

hope2beamummy - how's that Synarel going? How much longer till you start stimming?

faith - you still around? You must be around ER/ET time now?

trx - good luck for beta tomorrow! Have you given in and POAS yet or are you holding strong?

statsgoddess - how's the 2ww going? Any symptoms?

AFM, I'm not sure what's next - we have taken the first available 'follow-up' consultation at my clinic but it's still over three weeks away, which seems like a long wait to find out what the RE thinks might have gone wrong. Personally, from the symptoms I was feeling, I'm convinced that my little embryo implanted but then something failed at the last moment. We have two Grade 1 frozen embryos so I guess we may do an FET, but I'm not sure what the percentage chances are of both the embryos surviving the thaw, and I'm not sure whether I can face the risk of doing a transfer with only one embyro again. The other factor for me is that our next cycle is funded by the local healthcare trust, so we may be forced to do a frozen instead of a fresh, and forced to just transfer one. We will just have to wait and see.

My CT friend, Michele-I am so sorry that it didn't work this time. I hope when you go to Dr. Levi today he has some answers or ideas about next time. About the money, you WILL find a way. I couln't believe we spent over 24 thousand last year alone on Matthew, and many people think I'm crazy sine we already had our first son, Stephen. But we know how much a sibling means, and hopefully these kids will get scholarships to college, or learn a trade at Platt Tech or something-cause mommy and daddy are broke!!!!!! Let us know how today goes when you can-I know you have your beautiful Ella-but I also know how important a sibling is-take a breath, regroup, and you will find a way! :) Jennifer

Michele I'm really sorry about your results :( I wish you the best on your next step. Everything will be figured out and as you have many frosties it wont be so difficult.

Hazel Thanks, and good luck on your FET.

amfm and Faith 03 How was your ER?

AFM Well, had my ET yesterday. We transfered 2 and it was sooo easy. But the doc told the nurse to talk to me about OHSS because he's worried of how many eggs I still have and my stomach looks like if I'm 2 months preg and it's still hurt for me to walk or move. So lets see  They'll call me today to let me know about Frosties. My beta is May 15, but of course I'll POAS before. :D

Thank you all again for the support...I will let you all know what RE says today.

I posted our list, but honestly I have been out of the loop with other people for a few days as I tried to come to terms with what was going on with me. I caught a few updates and fixed them on the list, but if there are others that need to be updated please let me know.

hjw- I think dh is doing better than me, but he also doesn't show emotion like me. I am sure it is bothering him, but I think he is staying strong for me. I also don't normally show emotion like this but I just can't help it with this.

jenny- Dr levi is a bit expensive, but I know it is all worth it and we will find a way. I can't even start to think about affording college...but I hear ya about platt tech!

estrellita- congrats on ET...hope those embies are snuggling right in!

dys- thanks for the kind words, I know how bad we wanted to be preggo together, but I think we still will be, our due dates will just be a little farther apart than we expected.

neffi- yay for trigger...good luck at ER tomorrow.

Well, I did not take the crinone last night, and af was here first thing this morning. I am surprised how fats it came after stopping crinone. After all of the stories I have heard hear about miracle stories after beta, I was almost considering still doing the crinone a couple more days and just hoping, but honestly, I couldn't torture myself anymore, and I know the sooner af comes, the sooner I can try again, so I guess it is good she is here. Hopefully RE will say I can start again right away.

Ct-Michele-just a thought-Maybe Dr. Levi can give some sort of discount if you ask-I mean Geeez-it's not like he hasn't made a ton of money on ALL of us-and you have travelled a long road with him already. I did notice-listening to the other stories on here-that it seems a bit more expensive than maybe others have paid-at least for me-I wonder if it's Dr. Levi or just that we live it CT. that things are so expensive. It wouldn't hurt to ask him & maybe he could end up being sympathetic. Worth a try! Good Luck today.

jenny- I was totally planning on asking! I do think he is a bit more expensive, but I know its because of the personal one-on-one care. I was going to ask if they could waive one of the fees from this time or discount the price of the FET...it certainly doesn't hurt to ask and anything would help at this point. Have you done an FET with him? Does his fee cover everything, like thawing, u/s, bw, etc? I will ask in a few hours of course, but just curious.

Michele-no I only had 1 fresh cycle. The global fee was 14,000-which I thought covered everything-but as time went on-I remember being charged for sperm handling, storage, embryo handling, storage and all this other stuff-My meds were 4 thousand five hundred-so somehow all these other handling and storage fees, and God knows what came to another 6 thousand-there are always hidden fees-I didn't know anything about IVF at the time-hadn't found this site yet-so I didn't know to really ask about things or question-I just kept giving them the money. I do remember on one of my papers of information from Dr. Levi it said if the cycle wasn't successful, they would discount the next cycle by 20%-Maybe you can at least get that discount -I don't know if that was because I was paying totally out of pocket-but it does show that he DOES do discounts.
