Hi Ladies,

I don't have time for personals because I'm off to the beach with my 3 yr old niece and she has informed me that she is ready to go!

The nurse just called me and my e2 is 720! YAY. Anywho, it's raising nicely and I got a another follie so I think I'm up to 6, although only a few are mature. I'll take it. Another small victory today. I go back in tomorrow morning to see how I'm doing and I'll prob trigger either Mon or Tues. I didn't get this far last time so I'm so excited. One day at a time though.

I hope you ladies have a great day and keep that PMA up girls.

Hi girlies -
Hope that you all have a great weekend! Dh wants to try to organize the garage, so I have to jump on that quick before he changes his mind!

wolffie -Thanks! You have such a wonderful outlook! Sometimes its easy to forget that Dh's have a hard time with this too, they just show it in a different way! I think that it stems from my "guilt" of being the one with the fertility problems, even though he says he's never thought like that. Anyway, thank you :D

j &c -thanks to you too! we will be close on schedules my ER (as long as I get there this time!) is the last week of sept too!

kala - welcome! I have to ask, why so far away? Serbia?

ray of sunshine - We cycled/ cancelled together on july/aug thread, so happy to see you again! We will get there this time! My RE thought that I'm very sensitive to lupron, and it over suppressed me, maybe its the same for you? no more lupron for me either! GL!

cheeky - Fingers are crossed for a healthy thaw for your embies my friend! so happy that you could get going so fast too! hugs! GL tom!

mjay -Your DH is so sweet! roses & a date, hope you had a great time!

dtao - How did your 2nd interview go? At least it keeps your mind off of monday!!

cheryl / fitz -great fert reports! for both of you!

shelby - I've had the site eat a post once too! How come it eats the long ones only? Arrgg!!

johannanita - OMG!! So happy that this time is such a better cycle for you! GL tomorrow! 6 follies + raised e2 =YAY!!

Hugs & PMA to us all!!! xoxo

Kaite- can you send your dh here when your done with your garage? mine needs some work too! We had a new garage built 2 years ago but the inside isn't finished (no dry wall and such). my dh didn't want to pay for it b/c he can do it himself. well, two years later and it's still unfinished!

deftonesmo - wow, 4 embies! At least one of those little ones is bound to stick and find a nice home for 9 months! I can't wait for your BFP!

Johannanita - YAY! Hurray! Quality over quantity, right?! All ya need is one good heathy egg! I'm thinking about ya!

kala - my RE overlaps the BC and Lupron too. I think most docs do. I think the main reason is to make sure that you are suppressed. Overlaping the meds gives the Lupron time to start working which the BC keeps doing its job. At least that's what I think. Maybe someone else will correct me if I'm wrong.

Mjay - when is your beta? I took a few HPT's during my first cycle. I felt like I wanted to know before I got the phone call. At least that way I could prepare myself emotionally. However, my dh was VERY upset that I caved and took them. I think this time around i'll try to hold off. I don't know if it will be possible though. your dh sounds so sweet! what a great guy and I'm glad you had fun! Don't worry about the laughing. I bet that the laughing, happiness, and getting your mind off everything had a positive effect on your embies! It looks like you are right about my odds being better this time around. At least that's what my acupuncturist told me today. She said that FET's are actually more successful. i have heard the opposite though so I guess we'll see.

hope you're all having a great weekend!

Hi Ladies,

I'm back. It was a beautiful afternoon, until it started raining. :( Oh well, the beach was fun while it lasted. I'm trying to get it all out my system in case I make it to the 22w. I won't be able to do any of that so I hear. I hope everyone is having a good weeked.

Deftonesmo - wow 4 embies trans. Good for you. I'm with Wolffie, one is bound to stick! Sticky baby dust to you. You're PUPO!!!

Katie99 - Thank you. We'll see how it goes tomorrow.

Wolffie - Thanks for thinking of me. Say a little prayer while you're at it.

So on my way back I started feeling some mild cramping. Is that normal? Could it be my little follies growing? I'm trying not to think about it but I'm feeling a little nervous. Man, I'm like this now, I can't imagine what the 2ww would be like.

Deftonesmo – Glad to hear things went well! Wishing you patience and stick dust now! When is your beta?

Johannanita – Hope you had fun @ the beach! How far are you from Florida Medical Center? I did some chart reviews for them about a year ago.

Katie – I’m trying this again and IT BETTER WORK!!!! That was so frustrating to lose all that typing. I just hope I can remember everything I said last time! After you finish @ Wolffie’s house, I’ll pay your plane ticket to come clean my garage, too! I hope you and DH have worked things through. I guess I’ve been pretty lucky in that the hormones don’t seem to bother me too bad. If something irks me, I just tell DH and move on. I did get aggravated with my mom one time, but that’s been it.

Kala – Welcome! DH and I vacationed in Winter Park in 2004. We went skiing and stayed in a condo in Fraser. I loved it there! That was actually my second time. LOL about the ‘infertility acronyms’. On the general info tab of this forum there is a sticky note with them also if you need to look up any more.

Cheryl – I’m so happy for your great report! Wishing you the best of luck and tons of sticky dust on Monday!

Fitzjr – Great news!!! Also wishing you the best of luck and tons of sticky dust on Monday!

Mjay – You are so sweet! I admire every lady on this site for having the strength to endure the unknown and the stress that this causes. I think it makes us wonderful people and WILL make us incredible mothers! That is so romantic!!! Sounds like you have yourself a keeper!! DH took me out to eat and to see the “Ugly Truth” last night. That movie is so funny!!! When is your first beta?

Dtao – ‘Attention students….I am your new Assistant Principal and I’m pregnant!’ That needs to be your first ‘official’ announcement! LOL! Good Luck!

Wolffie – AF is easing off a little and I am feeling better. Still having headaches, but I think it’s a combination of the Lupron and sinus congestion. I know how the construction troubles can be. When I met DH, he was renovating his house and I had to walk thru the wall of the closet to get to the bathroom! It’s all good though and it will get done eventually. I learned how to do some plumbing, hang and mud sheetrock, and lay ceramic tile and laminate during the remodeling. Not that I could ever do it for a living, but it was a good learning (and bonding) experience. I hope you enjoy your acupuncture!

Turtle – glad to hear you are having it easier with the shots. Starting next week, I will have to take 4 shots a day! One Lupron and 3 Follistim! They increased my dosage so I take one in the am (225) and one in the evening (225), but I have the 300 vials so I will have to switch after every other shot. Oh well! I don’t mind considering I got them from a friend for free.

Lady J – I’m doing the survive the thaw dance for you!
Michele – Glad you had to wait for this cycle. HE knows the future and knows what’s best. We may not like what happens at that time, but as you can see it was for the best. Now you can get preggo and hopefully not have all that added stress! I like the excel sheet idea! I HATE taking the pills in the evenings. I have to crush all the Folic Acid and put it in apple sauce to take it. I have come close to choking on them many times! DH has to remind me to take them so I may make a sheet of my own.

J&C – It drives me crazy to sit and wait! But we all be done soon enough and we will all have our BFPs!!!!!

Rayofsunshine
– Welcome! I hope you have a better response to the meds this time and produce loads of mature eggies! What stim will you be on this time?

Cheekyone – OMG!!! I hope things went perfect for you!!! Please fill us in on all the details!

Rose – Where o’ where are you?!

Well, time to take my Lupron and get caught up on some work. Gonna burn the midnight oil tonight.

Hi!

Deft-good luck with 2ww. How long are you staying on the couch/bed? Im so excited for you! The little guys are happy to be back with mama. Hope their snuggling right in.

Shelby-the update on everyone is really cool. Thanks for all that info. You rock! Awesome that you have been here. It is beautiful here! Everyone is ready for snow...it was 34 degrees when I got up this morning. Brrrr!

Dtao-awesome job on being Asst. principal...i want to work my way up that ladder one day too.

AFM-My husband is paralyzed from a car accident...so his swimmers arent great. He is from Serbia, but has lived here for the past 10 years. He is a monoskiier here in Colorado. We are going to the paralympics in Vancouver in March. My dream is to have a prego belly as my husband goes for the gold!
I have been back to Serbia with him twice. When we started looking at IVF, he asked around about friends or family in Serbia that have done IVF. Then we found a great clinic in Belgrade. The charge is about $2000 for the whole process, including meds. So, even though I have to miss work, it is still much cheaper than paying for it here. The only thing I am scared about is the language barrier...but I am listening to my Serbo-Croatian CD's and DH promises he will be with me the whole time. I hate that I have to have added stress of travel...but it is the only way. :?

Many prayers and sticky sticky dust to all! Cant wait to here updates on Monday! Good Luck!

Katie thanks for that now let the crazy time begin

deftones welcome to the PUPO heaps of patience and sticky dust your way

cheryl and fitz fingers crossed everything goes well for your Et :D

shelbyn thankyou for the tireless work you do to keep up with everyone adding all our updates. I feel like my head is still spinning so soon after my last cycle

AFM ET went we'll. But sadly they had to thaw all five embies. 3 didn't make the thaw and the other two were good but not great but they did survive the thaw and given a grade 2 and 3. So it was a little disheartening on the result. But hey this is going to work i'm PUPO and i'm going to enjoy relaxing until my beta my beta is on the 11th but no doubt i will poas before then because i can't help myself

Keep up the faith everyone :D :D

cheekyone - hopefully your little embies will be much happier in their mommy and will grow and stick! Did your embryos get graded before freezing? When I froze two embies we got their grades before they were frozen and I'm wondering if we'll get another grade when they defrost them. I'm praying that your little ones stick and stay for the long haul!

dtao - did I miss a post about the asst. principal job? did you get it?

kala - how long will you have to miss work? I hope you keep us posted while your in serbia!

Shelby - acupuncture was great! I am going to try to get in at least 3 more sessions before transfer and then ideally an additional session before and after transfer. Unfortunately I won't know my transfer time on Saturday until Friday night. I don't know if I should try to get an appt. for as early as possible on Saturday or if I should go in on friday. I decided that I am going to do all I can to help this cycle. BUT, I am so afraid that I will have done all this and then my little ones won't survive the thaw. Are you doing anything 'special' with your cycle? Change in die, massage, acupuncture, etc?

Johannanita - i be that the cramps you are feeling sis your follies growing. I remember feeling crampy quite a bit with my fresh cycle. towards the end it wasn't crampy really but more of a tender feeling. How many do you plan on transferring?

Wolffie - I will be doing massage before. My clinic has a package that includes 2 massages. I will have one and I'm going to give the other one to DH. He has done so much to help me in this that it's the least I can do. After the ET, I will be on the couch for 3 days so he will be the one cooking, cleaning, getting up with the kids in the mornings, washing clothes, etc. He's so good to me! As for Dtao, I think she is up for the 2nd interview. I just put a post on here earlier about what her first announcement should be. he..he.. I sure do hope she gets it!

Kala - WOW! $2000? I should have gone to Serbia, lol! That is so awesome about the paralympics! Will that be televised? When he wins the Gold, that would be so cool to say, "I talk to his wife on the computer!" I'll be yelling at the TV, "GO FOR THE GOLD KALA0704'S HUSBAND FROM SERBIA THAT I TALK TO ON THE COMPUTER AND WHO'S WIFE IS GOING TO HAVE A BABY SOON!!!" Whew! Ok, maybe I won't be yelling that, but I will be cheering him on! I'm sure you will look beautiful in the picture and about 6-7 months pregnant!
