katie99: I heard one time that someone cycled abnormally because the hcg level was not down to normal from the previous IVF cycles.

Syanna - are you taking progesterone in suppository form? I had the white discharge from the suppositories - went through a lot of panty liners! Totally normal. Enjoy your PUPO status, girl!

dodo928 - I'm glad to hear you are going for another cycle. I'll be heading over to the Jan/Feb board as well (hopefully starting my FET cycle in mid-Jan).

cheekyone - I was so sorry to hear about your m/c. A holiday in NZ sounds wonderful! Enjoy your time off and hope to see you on the Jan/Feb board! :)

katie99 - wow, you just don't get a break. i really admire that despite all that has happened, you still have that steely will to keep your PMA up. hope you can enjoy the holidays and get a fresh start for 2010. :)

claud662 - i am crossing fingers, toes, and everything else for you for your beta!!!

justwannabamom - congrats on your successful ER!! crossing everything for you for a great fert. report! :D

turtle/franny - i'll see you over on the Jan/Feb boards and we can reschedule that play-date for 9-10 months. ;)

AFM, I got AF yesterday evening so I'm hoping today's beta will show negative HCG. There is a chance then I can start BCPs right away to get ready for a January cycle. We have 4 snow babies waiting for us! I am, however, not excited about the FET protocol including the PIO shots. You ladies do not make them sound fun at all. :?

Well still no word on fertilization report yet! I am so anxious to hear. Last time we had very low fert. So I really want to know how it went this time! They will also decide based on today if we do 3 or 5 day transfer. I can't wait to find out. I don't know how you 2WW people stand it!!!but I can't wait to be PUPO too! I will let you know when I hear.

Hi Ladies!!

I'm feeling better today, the medicine made me spotting a lot lighter but I'm still preparing myself for a BFN and will be TOTALLY shocked if I get a BFP on Sunday which would be nice!!!!

syanna-don't worry...during the 2ww you can have a lot of discharge (watery, creamy, etc) so don't stress!! Just the RE know if it gets discolored.

justwannabamom-good luck with the report! So exciting

cheekyone-have a wonderful time in NZ and GL on your next cycle....

supergenius-YAH for AF!!! Hoping negative numbers for you today!!!

Katie-I'm SOOO sorry that your cycle was crazy this month and that your follie was so unpredictable. Hopefully your RE will adjust you accordingly and you won't have to deal with all that stress! You have been so wonderful on this board and I only wish you the best of luck

skylar-how are you feeling? That is great that you can test two days early and get the beta results!!! Fingers crossed

hazel-how you get to trigger soon!!! How are those follies looking?!?!

sarah-ruth-your 1 blast sounds great and keep up the PMA

good morning my girls!!

claud did you see a change in the spotting once you upped the meds? i'm still crossing everything for you and i hope you are ok!

hjw i loved the acupuncture! the place i go is really cool. its in an old mill building so its really neat inside. they do community acupuncture meaning that everyone getting treatment is in the same room. this is how it is usually done in china, and they believe in healing in numbers. DH and i got to be next to each other on these huge comfy recliners with soft blankets. they had white noise machines going and soft music. the acupunturist put in my needles and besides the ones she put on the top of my feet i didnt feel them. once she put the one in the middle of my forhead i felt tingles all over my body and it felt so relaxing. they let you stay there for as long as you want, and i feel asleep!! when i woke up i had no idea what time it was haha or what day it was! i was glad to look over and see DH still there. we ended up being there for almost 2 hours!! hahaha  i felt very relaxed and calm when i left. DH really liked it too, and we are going back next week. i figure it cant hurt, and i'll try anything at this point, and if anything it will help with my ivf stress! i'm so glad i found this place!

cheeky enjoy your vacation and your many drinks!! i hope you stick around and join us on this rollercoaster again. do you have any plans to try again?

dodo i'll see you over in the jan. thread!! any word on that expensive donor that the other couple might not go with??

syanna its only been 2 days!! i have a feeling this is going to be a very long 2ww for you! hang in there! try to keep busy and keep calm. i'm sure everything is fine! remember you said no POAS!!!! PMA PMA PMA!

supergenius 4 snowbabies is amazing!! remember they are still SUPEREMBIES!! i'll totally see you over in the jan./feb. boards...i just havent made it over there yet! we WILL have that damn play date in 9/10 months!!!!!!!

katie how are you doing today?? for me it took a day for it to really sink in that i was canceled and i lost it. so i am sending you healing vibes and keeping you in my heart!

justwannab- hang in there! i cant wait to hear what the report is, and when you'll have ET, and be PUPO!!!! WOOOHOO

afm like i told hjw i went to acupuncture last night and i LOVED it. it made me feel all tingly and relaxed, and the blankets they put over me were soooo nice. (it was freezing out here last night) i'm totally hooked on it now..if for anything a way to stay calm. i cant believe i feel asleep for almost 2 hours!! hahaha. there was a guy there that was there when we got there, and was still sleeping when we left. i wonder if he's still there! haha
so the basement renovations ended this morning, and it looks soooo good. too bad i only really go down there to do laundry haha. it will hopefully make a really nice playroom for my triplets one day!! (somewhere in a classroom my DH's head just exploded!!)

Well they just called and of the 11 4 were too immature to ICSI so that left 7 and 2 of those didn't fertilize so we r left with 5. RE is going to do a day 5 transfer so it will be on tuesday if any of them make it that far. Back to being dissapointed again. I am starting to think that it really just isn't going to happen for us. I know it still can but it just seems like we r always below average in all the stats. And stats are so important to me even though they shouldn't b cause there is always a chance that you will be in that minority group who will do well despite the odds. I know some of you have worse numbers to deal with than me and I am so sorry for you all. I don't mean to sound ungrateful I just have such high expectations and they never seem to hold up. I guess what is meant to be will be.

Afternoon ladies, I'm still here wishing time away so that I can get to my next u/s and b/w tomorrow when hopefully they will make a decision about when I trigger - I'm day 11 of stims today so I'm thinking probably one or two more nights of stims injections. My abdomen is starting to feel pretty 'heavy' now, with some pain on either side - I'm not sure whether that's caused by the cyst or the follies. I'm getting a bit impatient to know when ER is going to be, not least so that I can make some plans for next week (at the moment I've had to keep my diary completely clear, even for my birthday on Sunday 20th in case that's the date for transfer!).

cheekyone - a holiday to NZ sounds perfect. Enjoy, have a great Christmas & New Year and I wish you the very best of luck for your next cycle.

syanna - try not to worry about the discharge, I seem to get that quite a bit once I start taking any of the drugs, I think it's just another way in which the meds can mess with our bodies! Just let your RE know if it changes colour.

Skylar - how's it going? How long do you have to go until beta? Are you managing to resist those evil pee sticks?

tc4474 - ...and how's things with you? Are you planning to POAS?

Supergenius - wishing you the best of luck for your FET.

claud662 - I'm so pleased the spotting has slowed down, keeping everything crossed for your beta. I'm fine, thanks, just eager to have my u/s tomorrow and know when ER is going to be!

justwannabamom - aaaarrrgh, I can't believe they took so long with the fertilisation report! Don't they know that it wasn't just you desperate to hear, but all of us too, lol??? I think 5 embryos is a great number, that's plenty for them to work with, so don't be disappointed! Do you get more progress reports between now and Tuesday?

turtle - yay, I knew you'd love acupuncture!!! I don't know how the hell even one or needles can make such a difference, but it has such an amazing relaxing effect on me as well, and as I said before I'm convinced that it does actually work too! That community acupuncture sounds incredible, and how great that you can stay there as long as you want to.

Finally, my good friend Katie - I hope you and DH are feeling OK today. I'm so pleased that you're down for the February cycle. Your body has been through such a lot this year, let alone what your emotions have been put through with the stresses of the various cycles, that it will do you a lot of good to have a bit of time off. So rest, recoup, enjoy spending time with your lovely DH and the dogs, and better things will come to you in 2010.

Katie - I had to break back into the thread when I read all the cycle drama you were having, I feel your pain    I recently had the chemical pregnancy and that felt like a cruel joke after 2 years of TTC and to tell everyone and then miscarry. Some people were still giving me "congrats" messages after I miscarried. Little uncomfortable moment there. Hang in there and try to relax and enjoy the holidays with DH. I'm going to cycle either Jan/Feb so I'll see you on the thread. I already have a DD and it is worth fighting for, every moment of it . I hyperstim, so I'll throw you some of my follie dust and we'll balance ourselves out that way. See you on the THREAD ( that sounds so cool).

Hi everyone -

Its so weird that I feel so calm about being cancelled - again. I guess that proves that it was the right thing to do. If it was a normal growing follie - I think I would have taken the chance, but for the way it took over, and grew too quick, I dont think it would have turned out viable. It goes to show that we all have to be our own advocates though, I felt like I was reminding RE about the weird growth pattern, then I could hear him shuffling papers around (please review my chart BEFORE making decisions) then started the famous Dr noise - HMMMM..... "Yes, perhaps we should cancel." I think he forgets sometimes that I'm a nurse. Well, not this past year, but my licence is valid. I do hate to feel like I have to stay on top of things, but we all should. So its back to the waiting game - UGH!

Gi - thank you, honey. Well I'll be over there later to say hi. I'll be around the end of Feb too - so we'll keep each other company -again!

J &C -thank you too - I'll be over there later. Here we go its like a reunion or something!

Dodo -Thats a very interesting theory you have - thanks! I will definitely talk to RE about it. I am not sure that they even test for HCG at baseline. See you over there too!

Hazel -My dear friend - How's it going today? You must be ready to trigger and feel better already! crossed for a bumper crop of healthy ones tomorrow! Cant wait to hear how it goes! - xoxo

Supergenius -I'm so happy that you are getting right back on the horse. IVF can devastate you if you let it - You have to just pick yourself up and push forward! Either that, or my Scottish backround makes me completely hardheaded :D

Kelly -Honey, its the hormones making you feel that way - 5 is a great number! And your RE would never go for a 5dt if he was worried about them. Once they get to a blast stage, youre in good shape! sending you loads of PMA! Will you get a 3 day report?

Claudia -thanks! Oh, how I hope that you are shocked on Sunday!!
Yes, for me I guess no suppression wasnt the right answer. I think my RE is getting closer with the magic wand of meds though!

Franny -OHHH! I'm a liitle jealous! Your accupuncture sounds great, so much better than I had thought! So what color did you say your new playroom is? See, you're a sweet woman, if I knew my DH was scared of triplets - I'd have no choice but to run with it and tease him mercilessly! You may get him to filp out over 3 pairs of socks or little onesies! God, I love those little socks - I mean how cute are they?

Sorry if I missed anyone - I feel like a typing fool today
Hugs & prayers to everyone! xoxo
