Thanks everyone - I really appreciate your support & encouragement and such sweet words. Truly, I got done talking with my doctor and logged in...you all are so sweet!

I'm doing Ok today, just trying to get through - I know I'll have good days/bad days. Today we celebrated my grandpa's 79th birthday :) so I saw my whole family but no one knows we went through everything this past week so it was kind of nice because I didn't have to talk about it and could just move on with life.

My DH has been really supportive/sweet - he's like "we'll just keep trying until it works - we'll get it to work" Though it's hard to believe sometimes, I think it's sweet to hear from him.

Hope everyone is having a good day - baby dust to all!!!!! Hopefully over the next few days we'll get lots of BFP's from you girlies on here :)

McFarland - Hugs babe, I hope you have success next time round. It must help tremendously to have such a supportive DH.

PMApsy - Perhaps just drop the plan with the other woman? Sounds like she might think she's a big fish rather than seeing it as an opportunity to broaden her potential clients? Congrats on the orders too! That's fab and your website looks great.

AFM - Did the trigger injection last night and go into the hospital for ER tomorrow morning at 7.30am. DH goes into FS rooms at 7.15am for his part of the deal. I still think he's more nervous than I am! I did the trigger at 9pm and was feeling extremely rotten by 11pm. Kind of like I didn't fit in my own skin - hot all over and nauseous. Then the tears came and I couldn't stop my eyes from leaking in what I can only describe as my first real meltdown of the whole experience! Got DH to get up and get me some panadol rapid and that really helped and I managed to get back to sleep by 1am. My ovaries still feel tender and it hurts a bit to stand up and sit down, but not too bad. Bring on tomorrow! I've got three days off work, so hopefully that will be enough.

Hope all the PUPO's have been blessed with plenty of baby dust over the weekend!

I am so behind. Those two days of bedrest came back to bite me, DH has had to work all weekend.

McFarland - I am so sorry, I hope that you can find peace and hope in your life.

kizmet - good luck with your ER tomorrow. I hope you find it fairly easy! It was a breeze for me, I didn't even need Tylenol, but I know everyone is different. The trigger shot is pure evil in my opinon  It made me an emotional wreck too, but it didn't last too long so hopefully it passes quickly. Let us know how it goes!

PMA - so does she do fondant cakes or just icing cakes? If she doesn't there still may be some room for help. Or is she willing to recommend you if she is too busy? subcontract (if you wanted to)? If she is your direction competition don't stress to much. You can always ask her what it took to make her business successful and if she has any tips for you starting out. Most people are very flattered if you ask about how they made a business from scratch.

Hi Girls!
Mcfarland - I am so glad your DH is so supportive and you seem to be handling this well. Thank you for being so supportive of us while going through such a tough time, you are a very sweet girl and you will be a very good mom and you WILL have your little miracle!
purple - sticky vibes - Friday will be here soon for us!!!!
kiz - sorry the trigger messed you up, good luck tomorrow and let us know how it went, lots of mature eggs I hope!!! Let us know how DH did also!!!
PMA- I saw some cakes on her blog so it seems like she concentrates on cupcakes but also does cakes. I think there is plenty of room for the two of you! It seems like she doesn't seem to think you do things differently. But I think the idea of collaborating in case you have a mixed order of cake and cupcakes and having her do the same would be great. But some people don't like "helping out" the competition. It is hard to judge which type she is, maybe you can call her? You might get a better sense of who she is. Congrats on the orders - that is awesome, how fun to start your own thing! My lovely lady humps ;) are doing much better thank you!!! I got cramping too. Friday is almost here and I can't wait for us all to go to the pregnant after treatment side :)

AFM - I woke up from a nap with horrible cramps, I Was trying not to panic but then I remembered that I had a very sexy dream and I had the big O in my sleep - well that caused the horrible cramps for about 10 min. I had the same thing happen last IVF. I hope all that turmoil in my girly parts didn't disturb the baby from implanting and sticking!!!
I had a really crappy day yesterday, we drove 2 1/2 hrs to go to my MIL birthday bbq at her sister's. We didn't have anyone that could let our dog out during the day (we have a crazy neighbor that calls the police if our dog barks even once out in our yard) so we had to take her with us. His family is not dog friendly at all and even though he told them we were taking her, they gave us the dirtiest looks when we showed up there. She is 5 yo and very well behaved. So we asked if we could keep her in their yard on a leash with us because it was 90 F out and we could not leave her in the truck. You thought we were aksing for their first born. Then thier cat got out in the yard and my DH had a hold of our dog but his sister decided to ignore my DH and get in between him and our dog and besides almost chocking our dog, she released her collar and then our dog chased their poor 19 yo cat. Nothing happened thank God and we felt terrible. So our son actually understood what happened and freaked out asking for our dog and the cat, my MIL scooped him up and refused to give him to me!!! I was trying to pick him up to show him she was ok cause he could not understand MIL saying "the dog" is ok. Finally it took my DH coming ove rand basically forcibly taking him so that I could go show him our doggie was fine and so was the cat. And the food was terrible  !!! But what really got me was that my stepdaughter who is 14 and fake and manipulative like her mom, she tries to put my in laws against my DH and I every chance she can. She sat on the floor with my son, played with him and pretended to be the perfect sister. This girl has not touched our son in over 6 mos! She NEVER plays with him at all at our house and when he tries to get her attention, she walks away annoyed! From the day he was born she wanted nothing to do with him, if he falls next to her, she walks away and never cared if he was ok! I had to fight with her for her to even acknowledge him as a human being in our house. Now in front of everyone she is using my son to show off so everyone thinks she is the perfect girl   I said to her when no one was around "maybe you should play with him at home too!" to which she just gave me this evil look. She knows exaclty what she is doing and I have had it. I could not say anything because I haven't had the chance yet but I am thinking of confronting her and telling her she cannot treat him one way at home and a completely different way in front of other people to impress them. What do you girls think? My blood bolis when she does that and I see her being so fake with him, I know I am exagerating because the lioness in me comes out and I don't want someone who could care less about him even touching him! I can;t take it. I want to tell her she needs to be consistent and either treat him one way or another and I am not letting her do that again. The problem is that we have her 50% and she spies for her mom and treats my DH like poop. But we can't afford not to have her or we can't make mortgage! Thanks for letting me vent, I feel like I stressed way too much yesterday and ended up carrying our son too much which I should not have done, I hope I didn't mess you my BFP chances!

Rio - Hugs girl. Sounds like you had one tough day. It also sounds like your stepdaughter needs a kick up the bum! If I had to guess, I'd imagine she thinks that the focus of her father's affection has moved from her to your new baby. She probably figures that whilst playing the perfect sister in front of family, she's going to share in the limelight because littlies always tend to get more attention than teens at family functions - understandably as they cannot look after themselves. I'm not sure that teenagers can comprehend that parents can share their love evenly between siblings and partners and unfortunately her behaviour sounds like it is only going to confirm her own belief that she is no longer the focus of daddy's attention because nobody is going to be happy about the way she is behaving. Mind you, here I am doling out advice and we haven't even told DH's kids we are trying yet and they live with us full time! :D :D :D If it's right about your DH's ex using their daughter to spy on him, that is stupidity. I can completely understand split parents not liking each other, but to use children for their own means is silly. As far as I am concerned, as a step-parent, I want to get on as well as possible with DH's ex - it means that the kids are equally as happy to be with either parent and certainly when the kids were younger, it meant that we could always ask for the ex to have the kids whenever we liked so that we could get away on our own. My DH's ex even ended up cooking Christmas lunch at our house this year because I went out horse riding with visitors and didn't get back in time to put the roasts on! She even did the dishes and vacuumed the house after breakfast left one big mess (we have a big Christmas breakfast before opening presents!I really hope things settle for you Rio, as you are in a difficult situation!

hello ladies, I just had transfer on saturday and have bed rest until end of Monday. I'm using donor egg and had 2 snow babies after 2 blastocysts were transferred. DH and I are feeling better because we don't have any snow baby in our last donor egg cycle. This is my 2nd donor egg cycle. My back is getting sore and I took tylenol to make myself feel better. it's really hard for me because I'd rather keep working than sitting. it will make me more nervous. i try to relax as much as possible. I hope tomorrow will be over quick.. I know I will feel better once my bed rest is over and I can walk around and keep busy.

Hope everyone is doing well! will do personal tomorrow. good night and sweet dream!

Good morning ladies!

Thanks for all the people who were so kind as to give me their opinion about the cake business. I think I'll do everything you said, basically. I won't necessarily advertise her web site on my web site. But I'll tell her I'll direct people to her if they ask for cupcakes or if I can't take an order for some reason. And suggest her to direct them to me if she has an overload or if someone asks for a regular dessert. And I'll ask her how she became so successful (thanks purple, hadn't thought about that). I found that I have a Wilton distributor very close from home, this is very exciting. I'll be able to go there ASAP and purchase a nice set of fondant cutters to make all kinds of flowers. It comes with a book, too and other tools so I'll be very well equipped. My realtor ordered a cake for his fishing trip and he gave me carte blanche. I'll try to make a koi fish, orange and white. I'm still figuring out how I'll shape the cake itself, but the decorating part should be fun.

One more thing... I yielded this morning. I had to buy milk at the train station mall, so I thought I should buy my HPT at the same time. And, checking the brands, I saw that the First Response tests were on sale. So I bought one. And I know I could test right now if I wanted to... but I'll wait. If you test 2 days before AF is due, you have 98% accuracy. So I figured my test should be on Friday, that means I could test on Wednesday morning with 98% accuracy. If I tested today, I would only have 78% accuracy... 87% tomorrow... *sigh* I almost regret buying that stupid thing, it's tempting! :)

See... Yesterday, DS threw up in his bed. And while cleaning, I gagged 3 times. I did the exact same thing while DH was picking after our dogs during a walk a few days before we had our BFP last time. I'm so convinced I'm pregnant, that's why it's so tempting to just confirm it with a test! ;)

Ashley,
It's so good hearing from you sweetie. I'm glad you feel okay now, or at least that you have good moments. DH seems very supportive and sweet! :D Take care, okay, and you know we're there for you.

Kiz,
It's ER TIME!!!!!! Gosh, it's way done by now, silly me, you're in Australia, there's almost a 24h difference with me! How did it go sweetie? Do you have lost of happy big plump follies? Looks like you'll need the yoga pose I talked about to relieve some of that soreness in your pelvis and lower back. Want me to explain it again just in case? Tylenol really helps big time too.

Purple,
you didn't say anything about you sweetie, how are you doing?? How was your weekend?

rio,
oooooh wet dreams! LOL strangely enough, I didn't get them this time. I'm mostly dreaming of cakes, it's not that sexy, lol! Seriously, I'm sorry you had those horrible cramps. But hey, most people have sex after they conceive, and they become pregnant just fine. When I worry about things like that, I think about all those women in third-world countries, who still become pregnant despite malnutrition, though climate, daily tough physical work, and so on. It puts things in perspective. Okay, that BBQ sounded like HELL! POOR THING! Ack, I do want to respect people's space, but I don't understand why some people make such a huge fuss about dogs. I have two dogs and my father and his wife aren't dog friendly. They like them when they come visit me, but they don't want them in their house. So each time we visit, we have to put the dogs in a kennel (they live 3 hrs away). It's a lot of fuss. So I completely understand. The situation with your DH's ex, and their daughter, seems very emotional and complicated. Usually, situations like that do not solve by themselves. I feel sympathy for your stepdaughter, because she must be very unhappy to behave the way she does. I also feel sympathy because I know I was deeply unhappy when I was her age and I didn't at all get along with my father's wife. No spying involved, but I was still caught between a lot of people... my family on my mother's side, my family on my father's side, my father's wife everyone venting to ME behind each other's back... anyway. All this to say, I think if the situation is this bad, you should really consider family therapy. It took the birth of my son to make things better between me, my father and his wife, because we had accumulated such a huge pile of bad experiences together that our barriers were way up and sometimes it went super well, but it always ended exploding in our faces and making a huge mess. I suffered a lot through all this, and they did too. Don't suffer for that long sweetie, address the problem right now with a neutral mediator who is trained to handle such messes. And most of all, I give you a big hug, because I feel sympathy for you too. I wish things were more harmonious for you; those kinds of relationships can really take a toll on a household... :(

dodo,
Hi! Congrats on your transfer and frosties! Happy bedrest! :D And lots of baby dust to you!

Okay, gotta stop babbling and start working! I have to see three hospitalized patients this morning.. so let's get to it! :D

oh and to add to my weekend my DH's cousin was sayingher friend has early menopause and has been TTC for 4 yrs and now is going through IUI and IVF and she was calling her friend "obssessed" with having children for doing those things, I had to bite my tongue since no one knows! anyway, I am slowly recovering! I am feeling a little dizzy here and there which I hope is a good sign! Yesteray I got to spend the day with DH and DS and I just love those boys!

PMA - thank you for your insight, I will send you a PM with some question if you don't mind, it is always good to have a different perspective on things! Koi fish - very cool! So you are eyeing an HPT huh? You bad girl! I spoke to DH and he is adamant we don't test because of so many false positives/negatives. The bummer is I will get the call Friday at work  yickes! Hopefully a BFP! What kind of dogs do you have?

dodo - Sticky vibes to you! When is your beta? You are PUPO!!!!

Lisa - how are you doing?

Kiz - I wish we all got along! That sounds fab to have such a great relationship between exes and children. I hope it stays that way when you have your babies too, it is nice they are so much older and past the teenage years! I can't wait to hear from you on how many eggs you got!!!! :) woo-hoo you will be PUPO soon!!!!

oh no... :(

I went to the bathroom earlier this afternoon to insert my progesterone, and I found the ugliest thing on my panty liner... washed out pink discharge... now it's washed out brown with some new pink discharge... and now of course I feel like AF is coming, heaviness in my pelvic area, super mild cramping... :(

either my cervix is playing tricks on me again, or.... or....

:( I know it's not over until the fat lady sings. I didn,t have that super light spotting with my last BFPs... though I had downright bleeding afterwards, and it turned out it was just my cervix bleeding, the baby was okay..

I think I'll POAS tomorrow morning... 87% success rate. The worst that can happen is a false BFN and then a nice surprise on Friday... anyway.

Hugs,

Sophie

PMA - light bleeding is normal as long as you are not soaking pads you are in the running for a BFP - do not lose the PMA, repeat after me, do not lose the PMA!!!! My mom even thought she had 2 periods and she was pregnant with me! So it is not over and you are PUPO. I would hold off on the HPT because there is the chance that it could be 13% wrong and you don't want to get all bummed out only to find out you do have a BFP! STAY AWAY from the HPT! :) :) :) the triplets are fine!!! You little trickster of a cervix! I am sending you prayers and good thoughts. Keep us posted.

bei: cannot wait to hear your update of the b/w and u/s! you're a step closer now! :)

Franny: when are you going to cycle yet? are you still drinking the fertility tea? :)

Sophie: I'm crossing fingers for you! I also heard before that discharge on the panties doesn't mean BFN. When did you have your ET and first beta?

riogirl: are you also in 2ww? hope to hear good news from you! my beta will be 5/24.

afm, I will be done with my bedrest tonight. I cannot wait to take an hour walk to relieve my soreness. I'm not complaining and cannot wait to get pregnant. i have cramping on and off. i believe it's normal?
