Hi All,
Yeah, still haven't POAS! I'm about ready to because I have a terrible headache which must be a migraine because it isn't responding to Tylenol. Unfortunately that's all I can take if I'm pg. My migraine medicine usually knocks it right out but I can't take it until I know for sure. I still have alot of PMS symptems so I sincerely don't think the transfer worked. I'm trying to keep some PMA going but it's hard with a pounding head. Don't have cramps or bleeding but that usually doesn't happen when you're on PIO. I'll try to hang in there till tomorrow. My appt is at 8:15 and I probably won't know until about 2:30 when they usually send out their lab results. Thanks for all your support. It means so much to me!!! My brain hurts too much to type anymore. I want to do personals because so much has gone on here but I just can't can't focus my eyes anymore. I'll try later.
Love hugs and baby dust to all,
Chili

BLang...Congrats on 2 embies! I can't wait to hear what they say on Saturday!

Nancy...I'm so glad to hear that the Lupron is going well. I start mine October 11 and I hope it goes easily for me too!

Margi...I'm so sorry about the surgery on your wrist...sounds pretty painful! I wish you a speedy recovery :) I'll also start the AF dance for you to make sure she comes on time!!!

Teresa...I can't wait to hear how your US goes tomorrow!!!!! I know your bean is absolutely perfect!

Lauren319....Yay for 4!!! I can't wait to hear your PGD results. I hope you have plenty for transfer AND freezing! I totally hear you as well on the argument front. This shit puts a lot of stress on us! And how annoying that she talks in baby talk to a grown ass man. Ew.

Tess....CONGRATS!!!! I can't wait to hear that awesome beta!

Crystal...Welcome! You've cometo the right place...seriously I don't know where I would be without these ladies! I'm sorry about your ectopics, but much luck on your cycle!

Klinger...I'm so glad your procedures went well! Don't get too down about your AFC...IT ONLY TAKES ONE! So, I'm no longer waiting for AF. I'm starting Lupron on October 11 with or without AF, so I don't know where I belong on the list anymore! I guess I can stay put til the 11th!

Krys...I'm sorry you're in so much pain....but hopefully it will be SO worth it in the end! Thanks for the continued prayers for my dad.

Lou....My sister, who is allergic to EVERYTHING, uses a netti pot and swears by it! She wouldn't ever be able to breathe without it. Worth a shot I think! I hope you feel better soon. You sound like super woman. I'm asleep on the couch by 9 after teaching my 6th graders....couldn't keep up with you if I tried!

Txi...I have become the queen of getting pushed back, and I know it sucks, but I just keep telling myself that there has got to be some reason and it will all be ok. Keep your chin up. Sunday will be here before you know it! And I don't know what your lining should be...have you googled?

Karin...Stay the heck out of crazy town....I can't afford a vacation so don't make me fly out to Cali!

Rio....MANY prayers being sent out to your SIL and her family. How awful.

Franny...I'm so sorry you are going through so much...BUT WHERE ARE YOU?! I hope you got some much deserved positive news!

AFM....Bad new about Dad. He took a turn for the worse the other day and his heart rate was down into the 30s. His upper and lower chambers in the heart are working against eachother AND he couldn't be on his new meds either. We have no clue where we are going from here, so any praying people out there...any extra prayers would be great!

On the IVF front.... I was supposed to be waiting for AF, but the nurse called and said I have an appt. scheduled for October 11 for a US and BW and then I should start Lupron that night. She said she and the doc talked and they don't want "to keep me sitting around and waiting anymore" so they are going to move me right along so hopefully we can complete our cycle before the holidays. Great news to me! I tried to convince her we could move it up another week or two, but she wasn't having it! I was expecting AF sometime that week anyways, but it was nice to have them call me and seem proactive about everything. We also decided to thaw 2 embryos. If one or both don't survive the thaw, they will have time to thaw the other 2 that same day, so we may transfer anywhere up to 3 embryos, depending on how many survive. I hope the first 2 survive so we can keep 2 frozen for a sibling!

Blang---2 Beautiful Embies! :D :D Awesome!

Ryann---Sorry to hear about your Dad. We're all praying for him. Looks like you're going to get your FET sooner than expected! That's great! And if you'd like to come to Cali to visit....come on! It's beautiful here!

Chili---I can't believe you haven't POAS! Good for you! One more sleeptime!

Margi---What happened to your wrist?

Lauren319---4 Embies! Yay! I hope you get awesome PGD results! As for the fight with DH...I know how you feel. Mine is really close with his family too. Mostly his twin. Pisses me off sometimes...other times I think it's sweet. I'm sure his mother would still breastfeed him too if she could. The stress of IVF can really get to you. Take a break and tell him how you feel in a nice way...you might want to leave out words like....a$$hole...hate...jerk...just a thought. Anyway...I'm sure you've made up by now.

Tess----Congrats! I knew you'd cave! I'm glad you did! We needed some good news! Can't wait to hear the beta results!

Okay.....I'll finish this later! Gotta run!

Ohhhh Franny......where are you? I've been thinking about you all day!

Story time.....

So....I didn't have a chance to finish my post earlier. I was watching 90210 last night. I know....a little old to be watching a show about high school kids. Anywho, the girl Annie is interning for a a lady and Annie thought that her boss and husband were trying to hit on her. The lady is like....No....we want you to be our egg donor. I almost started crying. The reason is...I kinda found myself in the same situation just after we decided on our ED. While I was searching for a donor, I went to a website that had donors, I called and they're not an agency. You have to use their RE to get their donors. So, I thought that if I found the perfect girl that maybe I'd switch. I went and wasn't impressed by the RE, at all. Although, they had a donor that was gorgeous, but had a weird feeling about the whole clinic. Okay...fast forward to the situation I was in that reminded me of 90210. I was at the park with Hannah and my dog. There was a girl there that was a nanny of 2 kids and she looked exactly like the girl that I saw in the profile at the clinic. She was gorgeous, sweet and was playing tag with Hannah and the 2 kids. I almost asked her. I think that if she'd sat still for 5 minutes while I gather up my nerves that I would have. Plus, we had already decided on Jennifer. Can you imagine....uh...can I talk to you for a minute? How much for your eggs? The whole time she was playing with them, I was trying to think of how I would bring it up. Talk about crazy. My DH always tells me to keep my crazy in a bottle, with the lid on tight and not to let it out in public. Oh well....I guess if DH tests positive, I can always go and hang out at the park. :D

Hello Ladies... wow.. it's been a long time... I don't even know what my siggy says.... So we did our FET in June and got pregnant and then we had a second blighted ovum (ugh!).

So after we got the uterus properly drained out, I was on bcp for a month and then started lupron... I had my first scan and E2 on Wednesday and my AFC was 31... so my meds started a day later than we thought. Now for the horrible part... I am doing the first part of my stims at home, which is rather isolated in relation to the city. I ordered my meds a couple of weeks ago, but the pharmacy didn't have them arriving until Monday.

Except.

They didn't. Arrive, that is.

They were expected Tuesday, and by Wednesday my clinic, my local pharmacist, and myself were starting to freak out. So my clinic also sent meds (I start tomorrow)... but the meds from the clinic never arrived either. If my meds don't arrive from one place or the other tomorrow I am not sure what I will do!! I may have to jump on a plane three days early just so I can get my shots.

Please say a little prayer for me - I am not supposed to fly to Vancouver until Monday afternoon and I am not prepared to leave yet!

To my ttc sisters, I have missed you... I am trying to catch up. I have not had a computer at home for a few weeks so I stopped obsessing about TTC... now I need the support again but don't feel addicted to the forums anymore. LOL

hi girl!
sorry i went MIA. well wednesday we got our BFN! we knew it already, and i was in the hospital all day with DH waiting for the call. i put all of my focus on barry...i have to be strong for him right now. he is the most important thing in my life, and i have to put my PMA on getting him better and bringing him home. i need him in the present in order to move forward. without him there would be no future.
thank you all so much for all of your support. i have been reading but i cant really find time to write right now and i'm sorry.
we will figure out what to do when i get DH back!
this was our last shot with insurance so we are done with IVF...we do have our 1 frostie, but we think we will move on to donor embies because myself (and both RE's) think that my endo is causing problems with my own embryos...that even though they look good they have something wrong that causes them not to implant.
well....like i said..i gotta put this all aside for now and focus on what i already have in my life, and that is my amazing best friend, soulmate and husband!
chili and teresa....good luck today girls!! xoxox
love to ya all!!

Lauren319 - I haven't had much to contribute lately, but had to jump in and ask - you're not secretly married to one of my brother-in-laws, are you?? lol Except my MIL talks in that gratingly cutesy voice all the time to everybody, and calls people (like me) "Honey." :D

Seriously though, I think most of us can relate to getting into more fights during IVF. And it's just so awful because both of you are emotional wrecks so concepts like empathy are just out the window. Neither of you can understand why the other is being such a rampaging asshole/crazy *****. Inevitably there is crying, name-calling, and lot of melodramatic thoughts about how clearly this proves that the two of you shouldn't become parents anyway. "Especially not him," you think, "nobody that selfish, immature, and... and downright ASSHOLE-Y would make a good father!!" But remember we are actively injecting crazy juice into our ass on a daily basis. And there are some recent studies that actually show marked changes to the hormone levels of expectant fathers; obviously not on the same level as our hormones, but let's face it men can't handle things as well as we can! NOT the best time to start a rational conversation about anything more profound than what to have for dinner. Honestly, even that could result in a prolonged, heated debate about the relative merits of ground round vs. ground sirloin for making the best meatloaf and whether or not the onions should be sauteed beforehand, escalating to a screaming match over whose mother has the best recipe, finally ending in tearful recriminations and a decision to order a pizza that only that cold, heartless ******* will eat because now you have a vicious headache and aren't hungry anymore. But you get through, because this is way bigger than some stupid meatloaf. Or MIL. Not that I'm comparing your MIL to a meatloaf. Or am I...?

Chili & Tess - Good luck with the betas today!! Hoping for great results!

Teresa - Can't wait to hear how the u/s goes!! Post as soon as you can after it!!

Lou - Hope today's SnS brings good news. Let us know how it went!

Sonya - Welcome to the fall thread, so glad you joined us!! Am sending out some prayers that your meds arrive safe and sound so you don't have that additional worry and earlier than planned trip to Vancouver!

AFM, my baby-in-a-box arrived yesterday, yippee!!! And a week from today I should be starting my stims (fingers crossed). Going to run up to upstate NY tomorrow & Sunday for a quick visit with my kids and grandbaby before I'm pretty much locked down here for all the SnS appts and ER/ET. Hopefully we'll do some apple picking and whatever other fall stuff we can dig up. Anyways, if I'm delayed getting the list up over the weekend I'll catch up when I get back home. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hi ladies. Not much going on with me right now. Had CD3 bloodwork this past Wednesday. All looked wonderful, thank goodness. Recovering from having my TAC (transabdominal cerclage) surgery. It's been two weeks today and I'm starting to do light exercise again. Can't do my hardcore aerobics (incision area is still a bit sore down deep) but I'm walking uphill at a fast pace and doing yoga. woo whoo! Next week I have a saline sonogram (Wed) and start my ovulation predictor kit. Once ovulation is noted, I'll start the evil Lupron...then wait for AF again and then I'll start stims on CD3 (Follistim and continue low dose Lupron). It's funny, I've noticed that I am quite calm about my next cycle. I guess maybe b/c I've been through so much lately. I'm excited, of course, b/c I'm planning on being pregnant by Thanksgiving! However, I'm not anxious or nervous like I was before every other cycle. I guess after losing the twins in my 23 week of pregnancy, an IVF cycle seems like nothing to me. Who knows, maybe my emotions will bloom once I put that first needle in my body again! I'm happy to see this group growing. Baby dust to all who have started their cycle! Fall is a great time to get preggers! :D

So how do you get through the days between ER and ET? Did you get reports everyday?I have to wait until tomorrow for the next report and then I will get my final report on Monday, the day of transfer. 5 days is such a long time!

When I have my ER's they call next day with a fert report and not again until Day 5 to confirm my Day 5 transfer. If they call earlier it is bc something wasn't going right. Which has not happened. But if you were doing a Day 3 transfer they'd let you know that at ER. I know, the wait is torture! Hang in there! Karen

I found out this morning i have to have a D&C! I was sure he would say 21 more days of birth control pills because my uterine lining was still at 9mm. He said at the end of a normal woman's cycle your lining should be 2-3mm to begin your shots and all that. But because I never have a period but maybe once a year, even though I just had a period (2 very light days) on the Lupron, he dont feel like it is ok to do the IVF. He said that with a lining that thick, i would more than likely have a miscarriage. My RE called me himself. He is a remarkable Dr with very high pregnancy rates, and medical experience. Very well known in the Dallas, TX area. I trust him. So next thursday i have a pre op appt with my regular OBGYN here. Then friday, surgery.     Just when i get close to being on a roll with the stims....BAM, something to knock me back!!!! Im so upset, but i know it is the right thing to do.

Please pray for me.

Hi All,

Really busy at work so I don't have time for personals. I have read all posts and you're all in my thoughts. There's a lot to pray for right now.

I had a SnS this morning and I'm not sure what is going to happen. My lining was 9mm, which is good. But I have a good sized cyst on my left ovary. Damn Lupron... it just doesn't work for me. This is the third time I have ovulated right through it! RE is going to check my LH and P4 to see if I ovulated or am going to ovulate. If so, then I think my FET will be cancelled. I'm praying that's not the case, but I'm worried for sure. I'll get the call this afternoon. It really sucks because I have a business trip the week of Dec 5th so I'm pretty sure I won't start again until January. Gosh, I'm just praying this is a go. I hate the uncertainty of this process!!!!

On top of all that.... my 20th high school reunion is tomorrow night. It's a casual thing. We've got tables reserved at a bar and it's cash food/drink. I think we're only expecting 50-60 people and my class had around 200. What the heck happened to everyone? I know some people I've kept in touch with who are in the area but just don't wanna go because they're sticks in the mud. I'm not going to the parade, the game, or the tour of the high school that's been organized but I will go to the meet and greet that evening.
