Hi Karen...

This 2ww is hard, I just want to know lol :) I will know in a week(10/18) so that is not to bad, I am keeping my fingers crossed... I had a few cramps this week I am hoping that is normal...

I will be praying for you I know how hard this process is emotionally and financially...I think you have a good shot though since you already had a child through ivf so that is a plus... :) I am so hoping it works for me this round cause it took a toll on me all the meds and getting ohss...If i had to do again I would cause I really want a child :)

keep me updated with your Journey :)

It is so nice to have support and talk to different women that are going through what you are... :)

Starwishes best of luck tomorrow and fingers crossed your little embies survive the thaw. I am glad to hear you had those tests done and its even better to hear nothing is wrong though i know how annoying it can be to hear it was "just one of those things". How bad am I, i have never been to Galway and its not as if Ireland is that big sure its only a couple of hrs away from where we live in Carlow!! I am feeling great thanks, getting tired but i am off work so its grand I cant believe i have only 35 days left  getting nervous but sooooo excited we have waited a long time for this precious little miracle but i know she will be worth it as yours will too.

Hello everyone

Phew! My two frosties thawed nicely and were put back this morning. I didn't realise how nervous I was about it all until I got the call. Emotions can be very strange!

So Kynlee- like you I am on my 2ww. Although you must be glad you have just a week to go. Even so, it's a funny old time.

Gi- I hope you are resting up heaps and your DH is pampering you. Gosh, just over a month to go- you must be so excited. And what a wonderful early Christmas pressie to have! Am so glad it's all working out so well for you and your DH after all you've been through :D And you must take your little one for a trip to Galway - it's a lovely city!

Karen - hang in there! It's such a roller coaster this whole business. I'm pretty sure unless you have been through it, it's practically impossible to understand what it's like!

Lots of happy baby vibes to you all

Hello ladies!

Kynlee- how are you feeling now you're nearing your testing date? Am only 2 days down, but can't stop thinking about it! Have you been tempted to take your own test? I did on my previous IVF cycles... naughty I know, but so hard to resist temptation.
Luckily this time round I am not working ( I am a primary school teacher) because I'm studying for my Masters so at least my daily routines are quite low impact- study, lecture, study. But you still think about every little thing you do in case it affects the little frostie! Anyway hang in there.. lots of sticky baby dust to you :)

Hi Starwishes...

I know the feeling I cant stop thinking if I am either... crosing fingers but I dont know if its in my head or if AF is feeling like she is going to plow by... :( Hope its just in my head.... ;) I am still hoping and I am getting so close to MOnday and so excited :) I am tempted keep getting mixed stories on poas but I think I will Sunday :) that way if its neg I wont be sitting all day at work Monday and getting crushed Monday afternoon, and if I am I will be the happiest girl in the office Monday morning :)

That is great that you arent working through the ET I had to go to work the next day thank god I have a desk job and the Dr said they only recommend the day of ET off, so I am crossing my fingers...

Best of luck and keep me posted :)

ok. i'm quite a ways off my 2WW, but hearing where you ladies are at is already bringing out my excitement, nervousness, and dare i say- that old feeling of 'dread'.. i'm sorry to say that cause i know it's supposed to be all about the PMA (positive mental attitude), but am i the only one who kinda freaks out during a cycle? even though i have a son and i'm already so blessed, i just have this dream of a bigger family.. like at least 2kids. and it just fills me with sadness to think that i may not get this.

sorry if i'm being a downer. i just found in the past that venting out the fears helped me get through it. i hope everyone's having a great day, its beautiful and sunny here, and i'm on my first of 4 days off. had a great time with my son at the playground. put him in his glow in the dark skeleton/ halloween onesie. it was awesome . hugs to all. k.

Hello!

Kynlee- I know exactly how you feel thinking that AF is on the way. :? I have so many pre-period symtoms at the moment, but trying so hard to keep the PMA! I also have mixed feelings about doing my own pg test. For my first IVF I did one too early and it was negative but I did turn out to be pg- not that it did me much good though as I still didn't end up with a baby! PMA PMA!! But I know I won't resist doing one closer to my test day though! Am thinking of you- just a couple of days to go- how exciting! Do keep us up to date with any outcomes- and the very best of luck :)

Karen - as you can see, I am constantly battling with those dark thoughts! So I sympathise with you. It's funny as I'm generally a really positive person, but for some reason when it comes to pregnancies and babies, I slip into what my DH refers to as 'dark thought mode'- not a friendly place to be! It's nice to hear that it is lovely and sunny where you are at the moment. The sun is also shining in London right now- a rare occurance of late, so we're basking in the glow of the autumnal colours.

Hope you all have a great weekend with happy, sunshine-filled thoughts!
Take care xxx

Re: **October FET**

my friend told me today she is pregnant. i know i should be happy for her but i just couldn't feel it. we met last year at mom and baby groups as she has a daughter the same age as my son. we hit it off and then she told me she had 7 m/c's before having her daughter and i told her about my ivf history. so it's not like a normal, ungrateful person getting pg, but yet i still feel quite jealous. she wasn't even trying to get pg. the feelings hit me like a ton of bricks! like WTF, i don't get why i'm reacting this way. i couldn't wait to get off the phone with her.

the weird thing is that i KNOW i would have been so happy for her if she was an IVF mom..and i think that's weird that i'm like this. when she said "i know your cycle will work and we'll be pg together- i just have a feeling'... i can hardly stomach hearing stuff like that. i said to myself SO MANY times- "i know it's gonna work"...and out of that 100 times- it worked once. i react badly to others' foolish optimism. not that i don't appreciate some PMA, but to me it's kinda like someone saying 'why don't you stop trying so hard, and then it will happen.' although she had a very rough journey to finally having a baby- they found out she has a clotting disorder, put her on heparin and progesterone, and bingo- her issues are fixed and she's super fertile, no more m/c's since. so she just doesn't know what it's like to be more complicated.

anyways.. she's a great person and i know i'll get to the place of being happy for her, i guess i'm jsut freaking out for myself. sadly i just know that if i don't get pg again, that i'll have a very hard time having an active friendship with her.. am i nuts to be like this??? i told my DH and he was surprised ...he doesn't get it. i know if our FET doesn't work, he won't take it nearly as hard as i will.

sorry for the rant!!! yikes.

kynlee...i'm so sorry for your negative... :( i remember what a disappointing feeling it is. i'm glad you have a plan that gives you something to look forward to and most of all, a feeling of hope. HOPE is so important. it's the only thing that got me through the dark years before my miracle came.

so are you looking at a december FET then? and how are you starwishes??

afm. my e2 pills are making me feel like crap, but it's also a constant reminder of the possibility on the horizon. it also reminds me of how i felt in my last pregnancy, which although was a crappy feeling- i loved it at the same time.. it's funny- a group of us stayed in touch on this forum through my/our pregnancy's and we all LOVED morning sickness or any reminder sign that we were PG.. lol.. non- ivf women don't usually do that. we are a unique bunch of women and definately need each other. kynlee- i hope you keep talking on here cause i found that so helpful through all my struggles.
