Sorry I didnt post on here yesterday...we ended up having a busy and very sick day yesterday. The appt went great- all 3 babies have grown like weeds and still have very strong heartbeats. He said that the twins are measuring a little smaller than the third one but they are the same size so its all fine. I graduated from the RE to a "regular" doctor after the appt yday. Even though Ill be going to see a high risk specialist, that means no more 1 1/2 hr trips to the MD. He started talking about the risks of a triplet pregnancy and then started mentioning reduction, but since we are both strongly opposed he let it go. He wished us well and said things look good but since I have a smaller frame I should be prepared for bedrest in my future. Sorry to keep you all hanging yday.

Bliss- Cant wait to hear about your results tomorrow. I cant believe you have the will power to wait a full day but I understand that given the work situation its probably easiest. My fingers are crossed that you get great results and can join us on the pregnancy board. Keep us posted.

Skatie- Thanks for the comments- things are still going good. Sick as ever but still trying to avoid throwing up. Im sure you are fine with the estrogen so I wouldnt even worry about it. Glad to know things are still going well for you.

wehavehope- Getting closer and closer to your potential transfer day. Good luck with all that estrogen- when they had me on an increased estrogen protocol I ended up getting sick from it. Cant wait to see how your appt goes tomorrow.

Thanks everyone! I am still completely overwhelmed. I just got home from my big dinner and this is the first time I have been able to really stop and soak it all in. I feel so blessed right now and am going to try to have PMA and enjoy every step of the way. Its so funny... I was ecstatic for about a half hour, and then the worry set in! Always worry. I am going to do my absolute best to take it as it comes and enjoy. You ladies are the best.

Woohoo!!! I'm pregnant!

Tried to post a pic of my positive pregnancy test but can't figure it out. Oh well... it is enough for me just to have seen the two lines for the first time. I guess I don't have to share it with the world. :-)

Crissylove- thanks hon!!!!!!!! What a sweet message. I appreciate all your prayers. Keep them coming! I am so very excited and still find it a little hard to believe. I am actually out of town on business so I had to tell DH over the phone. It was weird. I was in class with 100 people and saw on my phone that the clinic had called so I ducked out because I had to know right away. When I heard my favorite nurse tell me that I was pregnant, it felt like the whole world stopped for a minute and I started shaking and crying with joy. I couldn't call DH right away though, because I didn't want to miss any more class than I had to so I went back and tried to concentrate until our next official break when I called him. It was actually kind of cool to have it to myself for awhile.

When I called, I only had 15 minutes to talk and I was so emotional I couldn't even open my mouth for the first minute. When I finally was able to utter "we're pregnant" it was his turn to be speechless and emotional. At first he had a bunch of questions about whether or not we were "really" pregnant. He thought that is wasn't really official until my second beta on Monday. I explained to him that this was just the first of many subsequent tests that we had to worry about on our journey and that we were in fact pregnant. He is thrilled, but he is also VERY concerned and emotional about this because of how tough all the BFNs have been for me. Its really quite sweet, but his fear of what would happen to me if this didn't work out is overshadowing his joy. I am looking forward to the beta on Monday easing his mind.

I laughed out loud at the onesie comment! I would gladly put a healthy baby in a Gator's onesie as well. DH and I have been collecting college/pro team gear from all our travels since we started trying to conceive. We even have Duke baby socks from his last work trip (which will never touch my child's skin, but at least we have them). I am attending school at Furman University this week and they have FU onesies. How funny is that? I am going to pick one of those up too before I go. lol.

Glad you are sleeping good. I just woke up at 12:30 with strong cramps that have stopped. I know its just my uterus growing for my baby(s) but it is still scary! I decided to check in online. Glad I did, the new messages from my friends made my night.

Sunshine- I called and told my Mom and siblings yesterday. Tonight I sent a text photo to my SIL of my positive pregnancy test (creative way to break the news). SIL is 4 months pregnant and she was ecstatic. DH told his Dad. Everyone is super excited...now the trick will be keeping them quiet for the next 8 weeks before we go "public". Thanks so much for all you words of support. You are going to have your time soon!

WeHaveHope- Yay for an official FET date! My advice? Do everything they tell you NOT to do during the 2ww. It worked for me! :-) Seriously? I truly believe taking the one day and watching stand up for 6 hours rather than obsessing over the 2ww made a difference this time. After the one day I went back to life as normal. Do what makes you comfortable, keep up the PMA, and be happy. Its going to be great. :-)

Okay- the fear from waking up with cramps is out of my system. Time to give my baby(s) the rest they need!

xoxo,

Bliss

BLISS-AWWWE. U keep bringing tears to my eyes. I can't wait to see those betas rise so DH n u can breathe a sigh if relief, although the agonizing in an IVF pregnancy continues all nine months. I never worried, obsessed, or tried to be cautious of every lil move I made when I conceived naturally with my DS. The cramping is normal though and it will come n go for a while.
When do u come home? I'm also curious to know if this changes any of ur adoption plans? What a great dilemma though either way.
