Ladies (Lee, Lynzee, Ryann, Nancy, akdelp, Blissful, Heather, riogirl, deftonesmo, nicksgam, Amanda, easley),
Thank you so much...I'm overhwelmed by your support & encouragement. I had my blood drawn at 8:30 & gave them DH's cell phone # to call w/ the results. I can't bear to hear the news. If it's a positive, it will be a true miracle, which I know miracles have happened. I hate to sound so negative, but it's not hard not to be when i have a full flow of bright, red blood (sorry, tmi). I already set up a WTF appointment for next Thursday afternoon. It was sad b/c when I was pulling out of the parking lot, I saw my RE parking his car & getting out of it & when he saw me, he waved & smiled. So, I guess when I see him next Thursday, he'll probably undestand why I had such a sad expression on my face. It's so frustrating b/c we achieved such milestones w/ this cycles...having a fertilization that was about 70% (it's always been about 20%), getting to a 5dt (we've NEVER had that). I know when we did the ET, they were at the cavitating/compacted morulae stage & not quiet at the blast stage, but we were so hopeful! Especially, w/ putting in 3, we thought our chances were much better this time! I have NEVER started bleeding before my BETAS, so I'm thinking the Crinone didn't give me as high of a progesterone level as the PIO used in my previous cycles. I told DH to ask the nurse what my progesterone levels are. Who knows? If it's low, maybe that was the cause, maybe not??? Unfortunately, there are some questions we'll never have answers to.
So, assuming that the result is a BFN, we will cycle again in July. We could do it again in May/June, I guess. That is a possibility, but I think I might need a little bit of a break. Since I'm a teacher, the end of the school year (our last day is June 21st) is hectic....the last 2 months (May & June), so I don't want to stress & overwhelm myself. So, it looks like July will work better. We are going to Georgia (Lake Sinclair)...DH's mom & stepdad have a beautiful house on the lake & are building a 2nd house on their property for family visits, so we'll be driving down there...we'll leave the Friday before July 4th (I believe it's July 1st), so we can spend the holiday there & the rest of the week w/ lots of family & friends, & then we'll be leaving Georgia on Saturday, the 9th to head up to VA Beach for a week (we exchanged our timeshare w/ a condo there right on the beach...cannot wait!) & then back home to CT on Saturday, the 16th. So, as soon as we get back, I can start. I will probably start w/ the Lupron while we are away. School won't start until the last few days of August, so it'll be stress-free & more relaxing to cycle then.
Sorry for rambling, but thanks ladies so much for your support & concern. I'm going to kill some time...retail therapy is calling me
