What a wonderful article Michele! I agree with everything that it said, especially the fact that there are so many couples out there who are suffering from infertility and feel so alone. Thank you for posting it.

Thanks for the article, it is sooo true. Especially the part about celebs doing IVF. It is so obvious that most of them are doing IVF, but they won't come out and say it. It is sad that our society thinks so much of them in the first place, but they could really use that to help make people aware of infertility.
After 7 attempts (2 negatives/3 miscarriages), we have TWO miracle boys!! If you would like to hear our story, please visit http://www.ivfsuccessstories.info. Never give up, it can happen for you!!

Thank you Michele for sharing this article with us! Giuliana & Bill is something I want to definately want to see! Now the question arrises: What will it take for us to step it up to Congress to reach the channels to get the advocate care we need? Maybe more actresses could make the difference, but UNTIL we get fired up, sign a petition, have "Infertility Awareness Month" and take this all the way up to Congress, this will not matter and will be forever swept under the rug! This is perhaps the main reason our insurance company doesn't cover infertility, and they see it as cosmetic surgery? What! Like it's our choice?! I'm sorry but that part really has my blood boiling! Thanks for sharing again, we really need to reach out more and network with those who are experiencing the same thing, this article reminds me we aren't alone:)

I also think that this is perhaps the main reason our insurance company doesn't cover infertility, and they see it as Cosmetic Surgery. In some instances, a cause for infertility is never found. It's possible that a combination of several minor factors in both partners underlie these unexplained fertility problems. Although it's frustrating to not get a specific answer, this problem may correct itself with time.
