Yes Leora I have been stalking quietly. Everything moves so fast on the boards I feel lost. I am stimming away. As of Monday morning, I have a possible 8 follicles. That is the most we have ever seen. They all look great!!! Looks like retrieval will be Sunday or Monday. I go back Thursday for another ultrasound. Our donor is right on track too. Who knows we may end up with alot of embies this time! Let me see if I can catch up some.

Julie- Big Congrats!!!!

Christy- Girl you have had alot going on, but I am so happy ya'll have a plan now. We should never give up on our dreams.

Anton- I have miss you. Good luck with the interviews.

Blue- I would love to have a personal trainer, but have to wait until the IVF journey is over, but way to go on the run.

anna- I hope everything turns out ok.

Lauren319- Glad to see you back on here. I have missed your colorful post!!LOL

LYD10- What an amazing feeling to feel the kick and a girl too!! I am not very good with girly stuff either so if have a girl I will have to learn quickly I guess. Congrats!

Sorry for all of you guys I missed I am playing catch up.

HopeThisWorksM - what I always tell people is that I have the WORST pregnancy symptoms - I suffer from HG, which is constant vomiting while pregnant. And that never starts before 5.5 weeks. Any 'symptoms' during the 2ww can be from being pregnant, or not being pregnant. No way to tell! Good luck! Beta is tomorrow!

Julia - even if something happens (which I hope it won't) - it would NEVER be your fault. It is NEVER the woman's fault for miscarrying (unless she is doing crazy stuff like sky diving or whatever). I'm sorry you fault with your husband, but don't feel guilty about it! I'm so happy that the baby is still doing well.

Patricia - people always disregard sex as important in life, because it seems so superficial, but sex is super super critical in a relationship. I'm sorry that it's been like this. I hope you can find a therapist who specializes in MS or something similar. -- What's your IVF timeline? I know you met with your RE and talked about doing another cycle. How long will it take for you to start?

Anna - so sorry about the SCH. There are definitely happy endings with SCH - just take it easy.

Antonia - thanks hon! Good luck with the job search. It sucks, I know. We have unexplained MFI - no reason, but my DH makes almost no sperm. It doesn't make sense and it makes me so angry sometimes. Scream and throw things - it'll make you feel better, but I'm sorry there aren't any solutions.

Christy - that birthday list is awesome. I'm so sorry that you were crying. Did you send the letter to your boss, or just write it? Feel better today.

Gina - my husband is from Northern California originally, and he can't believe I've never seen the Pacific Ocean, or Yellowstone park, or the redwood trees - he wants to go out there. But it ssoooooo far and expensive. I would rather go to Athens or Rome or Madrid!

Kynlee - when do you get to start your FET?

Lydia - I'm dreaming of a VBAC, but with emergency preemie c-sections, the VBAC rate ain't so good, especially if I deliver prematurely again. C-section recovery sucks, but if that's what it takes, I'll do it again! I hope you get a great VBAC

Cyn - are you 100% sure you can't get pregnant on your own? Becuase doing a endo biopsy 7dpo will DEFINITELY make sure you don't get pregnant this cycle. I'm excited for your to start your FET!

Maria - wow! 19 weeks already! Halfway there (or less)!

Laura - any news on your pregnancy tests?

Amanda - welcome back! I'm so glad to hear things are going so great in your cycle!

AFM - not such great news. The u/s this morning was great -- 4 measurable follicles all around 10mm. I thought that was great. But the blood work wasn't so great. My e2 dropped from 305 to 289. I asked my doctor what that means and he says it means we don't know what's happening. I continue the Menopur (upping from 2 vials to 2.5 vials) and go again on Friday.

I did some "google"ing and e2 dropping is NOT a good sign. It means the follicles are empty or the eggs are no good. I really hope this is a blip and things go on fine --- I'm terrified of getting this cycle cancelled. I'm trying to hold onto hope that the drop was slight and the follicles look good....

UGH.

Hi Leora - i am sorry to hear about your drop in E2! that is unusual for you to have any issues during stimming, isnt it? Arent you usually pretty much like clockwork during this phase? weird... i am hoping for a lab mixup or a measuring error. you are following the same protocol as last times as far as i can tell... very strange. i hope it will right itself on the next visit. sending you positive vibes!

Leora- that is weird with your E2 drop, but it didn't drop that much, so maybe it's all fine. As for me, yep, been POASing the whole time except one day. All BFN. My beta is tomorrow, so I know what it will say. I think our only other option would be to try donor eggs. However, until we can come up with the money to do that, this is it for us and if we can't come up with the money soon, we won't do it. I turn 40 this Saturday and I don't personally want to be much older carrying a baby or two, not that there is anything wrong with that, it's just not something I want. With all said and done, it will cost us about $30,000 to do a donor cycle with PGS on the embryo's, so....... I am working on my own business because I know that can generate the amount of money we need, but until my DH sees the money rolling in, he doesn't much want to talk about it, AND, he's not sure if he's even open to it. It's a big thing with his family that they don't even know we've done the IVF due to religious reasons, and if they found out we were to use donor eggs, we might as well ex communicate ourselves up front. I think he wants to hear the official BFN tomorrow, then he can deal with the grief, and then think about it.

Until then, I still read multiple times per day and am praying for each and every one of you!

I got a little freaked out last night.

Anyway, I was watching the little couple and for some dumb reason I was thinking all Follicles would have an egg!! So it me a bit concerned, wondering if that's what my problem could be. I've had IUI's done and I've done LOTS of Clomid. Pretty much every time we got one good follicle but no idea if any had eggs in them, and I guess it's something that can't be seen until they draw the fluid out? That's what their RE was saying on TV. I feel really dumb! Can an RE tell during the IVF cycle if actual eggs are there prior to a ER by maybe bloodwork?

It really scares me to think I may not produce eggs! However (probably another dumb question) don't we have periods because an egg didn't fertilize..meaning to have an AF then I must have eggs? My RE never did any blood work during an of my cycles. Up until 2 yrs ago...I got AF 1-2 times a YEAR....Now it's every 1-2 months which is awesome but not if no eggs are there!

Hello Ladies,
I hope everyone is doing well! I wish there were all BFP's on here after all this time. I'm sorry some of you are going through such difficult times. Im praying for you ASAP.

I thought I would relax and take care of me and my family after my Jan BFN. That didnt happen. We ended up in mortgage loan hell and finally got our new house last week! Now, I just need to fill up more of the bedrooms. I started BCP 4/21 and have two rounds of it before June. Our FET is scheduled for June 20. I feel so indifferent. We are transferring our last two frosties. I dont want to get my hopes up because I was so sad in January. I'll just go one day a time. I hope everyone is doing well. It is good to "see" yall again!

Gina1976, I dont think they know for sure if there is an egg in the follicle until retrieval. They do measure the follicles though as the larger sized ones tend to have eggs... at least thats how it was explained to me.

Go for blood test in 2 hours! I am praying for a BFP! I willt ry a POAS test tomorrow. Do you think 11 days after a 2 day transfer is enough for a First Response test to come back positive? I know the beta will still most likely be low at this stage but I am praying at least one of my 3 four cell grade A emby's stick!

Ugggh just lost everything I had just typed. Oh well it was a novel anyway that probably could stand some major editing. Where do I begin?

Hope- Praying for your BFP tomorrow, we really need your good news on here! :D

Kala (aka Sarah)- So good to “see” you too! C :D ngratulations on the closing, you sound like have been so busy with everything since January, glad to hear you are moving forward!

Julia- How wonderful to see the heartbeat and so strong! Good job mama and I know you cannot wait to tell the world! You so deserve to enjoy this pregnancy! Monday will be right around the corner and soon you will be released to an Obgyn, sounds so exciting! :P

Anna- I know you must be relieved to read several of the ladies here who have experienced that and gone on to having healthy babies. ! I really live through you ladies, you the living inspiration that miracles do happen but I’m still blown away with your amazing story!!! :D

Gina- lol  yes all you can do is laugh at this point, but I do hope the Colonel gets is all straightened out today. Why did the paperwork have to travel to Kentucky anyway, for some reason I thought it was originally in Washington and it was signed electronically? Wow that’s a lot of steps to get retirement in place, you 2 should really celebrate once everything becomes official! I know sometimes I wonder about my eggs too, but I try to remind myself the bloodwork determines your ovulatory reserve and they wouldn’t recommend IVF if there were no eggs.

Lydia- Thank you for updating us on your progress, the scan is happening today cannot wait to hear how it all went.

Cyn- I need your birthday when you get a chance. Thanks I wish I could always see that things happen for a reason. Hmmm maybe that would help me also understand why dh lost his job? My boss is more concerned that I’m pushing myself into a place that is only going to make me even more stressed out. We know my coworker is bad medicine and makes very irresponsible decisions  . From what my boss told me my coworker even has a 4 year old son who lives with his dad because mom was at some point homeless. I questioned what she told us that her ex was abusive because IF he was abusive, that child would be in foster care. Needless to say she lost rights to her first child and has to send child support and now she’s pregnant with her boyfriend who she’s been living with for almost 2 yrs. Come to find out he has a kid too and called my coworker the other day asking for Paige, his ex. She was so mad, said he was drunk. This 26 yr old “kid” known as my coworker has some major psychological issues and her pregnant is going to be even more dysfunction to the drama, but my boss while trying to help give her some moral support will not put up with her attitude anymore. You would think she would want to work now more then ever but she depends on everyone else (including her boyfriend’s famly) to help her out. Her MIL is trying to help her out with auto insurance, said to sign the car over to her but my coworker doesn’t want since she would feel restricted on where she is allowed to drive, said her MIL doesn’t want her driving the car to Mobile,AL. (Now learning that she has a kid she hardly sees,) and I thought my life was dysfunctional. It’s nothing compared to this and I probably shouldn’t be rambling on about this coworker but it helps getting it out in the open.

Leora- That letter that I wrote to my boss at 6:15am was to get everything off my chest. I didn’t see her until the next day and we had a very long talk that morning about everything. She encouraged me to try to find a happy place. I asked her how do I show a little support to someone who is not bit appreciative of being pregnant? She said this girl has what she called retarded growth, it most likely stems back to her childhood, she doesn’t know how is going to cope with handling everything. My boss asked me how I was doing because she knows how much I wanted this to happen to me and she's ben concerned about how I would take the news. I told her not well, I never cried so much and feel like this is totally unfair, why her? Someone who doesn't even appreciate being a mom.

My boss thinks misery is the devil working within and if I keep comparing myself to this coworker I will find myself in isolated depression. I told her it’s not fair though, I’ve always played by the rules. She told me I need to keep my faith because she knows couples from her church who have experienced blessings ...One couple had a strong urge to get the nursey ready...weeks passed she said when someone had dropped a baby off at the church’s front door. I really believe our miracle is coming, we must keep the faith. Anyway keep us posted on how Friday goes, I’m rooting for you girl!

Kynlee- I’m thinking of you, and the uterine biopsy, this week. I hope all your test come back with flying colors and you get to start cycling soon!

Patricia- Thanks for your sweet note, feeling somewhat better today as I decided there are some things I cannot control but I can control how I respond back and we have to stay strong to move forward and not anyone ever hold us back. Now my perspective on romance is men are wired so differently…But that doesn’t mean he cannot understand that we women have needs and we want to feel loved. That’s the thing sometimes I feel this journey may be so exhausting that it kills the romance of making love. I wonder if it has anything to do with the medication they have him on for MS? At the same time I know it’s hurtful and you are so compassionate and deserve to be treated so much better. It could be even be the MS effecting his libibido but certaining keep expressing how you feel because this needs to be addressed…Do you think if dh went with you to therapy session it would help get a lot of things out in the open? X

Amanda- What wonderful news! I’m glad to see you are cycling along and in less then a week you will be in ER! (lol that sounds so deranged) I will continue following you to your BFP!

AFM: Taking the day off, need to be cleaning house but relaxing to some Kenny G instead. Dh has his meeting with the College President on Friday, hopefully that will help him find closure. AF arrived today so I’m calling the clinic to just let them know I’m still planning to in July, also see if I can come in sometime for a thyroid checkup. Anyway lots to do but I need to be focusing on a promotion at work that will give me fulltime with benefits, and save us tons of money from having to look into Cobra. Dh is still apllying to jobs all over the place. I asked him what would we do if we had to move while I was in the middle of the IVF Attain Program, he said he would commute and I could stay here. I really don't think that would work, a long distance marriage over trying to make a pregnancy happen. That sounds so backwards to me...

Laura - I'm so sorry. I know you were expecting BFN news because of the HPTs, but it's still devastating to get that phone call. Did you set up an appt to talk to RE to see what s/he thinks? Happy birthday this weekend - sorry that it'll come right after bad news. My last birthday was less than a week after we lost the boys in the NICU - that was tough. Dont' worry, 40 is the new 30! Good luck starting a business. I'm impressed that you'll try. I like being about to work, then go home and not have to worry about the business!

Lydia - yup - usually this part is 'by the book'. This is the EXACT same protocol as my last cycle last Feb, and I great results last time. I feel like I'm sitting on eggshells until Friday. I really hope this is a fluke. I think I'm even more afraid that the cycle goes forward, but becomes a BFN or m/c because the eggs are compromised... :(

Patricia - why the 3 month wait? Your choice, or medical, or clinic bureaucracy?

Gina - follicles USUALLY have an egg in them, but sometimes there are empty ones and sometimes they have 2 eggs. But usually, each follicle has an egg. You can't tell during IUI if the follicle had an egg in it, or prior to ER in an IVF cycle. But it's very uncommon to have all the follicles being empty. Being anovulatory is different than ovulating empty follicles. If you are anovulatory - probably what is happening is that the follicle isn't growing/bursting at all - you are stuck at 'baseline' and that's why you don't have a period. If you can, pick up a copy of "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". Granted, not so useful for us IVFers, but I thought it was great to get an in-depth understanding of female reproduction and hormones.

Sarah (Kala) - welcome back! BFNs are so much more crushing than people think. With all of our losses, people always forget that I've had 3 BFNs and that all 3 failed cycles were totally devastating to us. (Obviously, not as bad as a different loss, but still crushing). Welcome back to the crazy crazy crazy ride! Congrats on the new house!

HopethisworksM - stalking for your update!

Christy - I always do ctrl+A then ctrl+C so that I copy everything before I hit submit, just in case the 'gremlins' steal it! Ugh -that story about your coworker gets worse and worse. Amazing how some people who totally don't deserve it become parents and other people, who deserve it so much, struggle to have a family.

AFM - I had my cystoscopy today (scope up the urethra to check out my bladder). It really wasn't bad at all - except the 2 hour wait at the hospital. Sheesh. But not painful at all. And - best of all - everything is normal and fine!

I'm still worried about the e2... I feel like I'm just waiting and waiting for Friday's check up!

Today is Israeli Independence Day (starts Wed evening, ends Thurs night). The smell of BBQs is overwhelming already! :D

No work tomorrow because of the holiday. We are invited to 2 different BBQs, but we'll also spend some time just chilling out.
