Hi All,

Sorry I've been MIA for a couple of days. I've been out and about and then I take my shot and crash for hours.

Leora - UGH. I'm not bonn believe it until I get a blood test! As for your relationship, DH and I also went to counseling for the first time ever this year. It's just a lot to take in. You can't expect for all of this to not affect your relationship. It's so stressful. I'm so sorry, honey.

Gina - Why does crazy shit keep happening to your family?

Sonya - hey! how are you? my in laws can't come for more than 4 days. It's now a rule.

Nicole - see above. You can ask some of the other girls who have heard me rant before. I don't get along with my mother-in-law and I don't plan to. I don't understand how a language barrier explains her disregard for your obvious struggles. Infertility and frustration is the same in every language.

Maria - I really hope you feel better, hun.

Lauren, I agree. I think she should be more considerate. It's been 2 years since dh told them we are trying. I get their sense of urgency. I don't get their need to be so verbal. I will lose it soon and it won't be pretty. She actually cornered my SIL (dh brothers wife) and asked why she doesn't stay home and have babies and make her happy. I wish I could have witnessed that! She is a fine arts professor at a university in Sweden. She travels to Sweden fron Canada several times per year. They don't want kids.

Thinking of you, Leora.

I love that rule.... A month. I am still in shock. I can't imagine how it's all going to go down - they are hardly even talking to us now!

Gina - just because we deserve it, doesn't mean it'll happen. Everyone keeps saying that if we keep going - we'll definitely be parents one day. But sometimes that just doesn't happen. There are plenty of people who exhaust their infertiity treatments and don't bring home a baby. I hope we aren't one of those couples but it's becoming more and more of a possibility.

Nicole - thanks for the advice. I think I'll try to do at least 20 min on the treadmill 5 days a week - and strength training the 6th day of the week. I'll talk to DH and see if 4-5 times a week is enough for him.

Kynlee - usually not a problem to take the Estrace a few hours late - I'm glad you are still on track! When is your next check up?

Sonya - welcome back again! Renovations are all done, right? A friend of mine just finished her renovations and they are moving next week. Her house is beautiful! Makes me so jealous that we live in a rental! I can't believe Brogan is almost a year old! --- I just couldn't handle taking a break. My approach right now is to do as many cycles as it takes to get pregnant again, and then relax. Like ripping off a bandaid - just do it fast and get it over with.

Anna - so glad the u/s went well! You are sooo on track, it's so exciting!

Patricia - thanks for the thoughts and prayers. This really is unfair - but so was everything else we've been through!

Wendy (Tess) - thanks for crashing. We are in counseling - and have been for years. We are seeing our therapist weekly now - which is helping a lot. I hope things are good for you! When is your next check up? Soon enough to tell if the baby is okay?

Lauren - believe it. I hate this part, the BFNs. My pee sticks are always right...

AFM - blood test is negative. It's nice to have a final answer, even though I was sure yesterday that this was BFN. I'll call my doctor later, but I expect him to say to stop all meds (which I've already done -- I wasn't in the mood for a mess in my underpants, so I didn't take my progesterone this morning - I packed it in my purse incase ofa surprise BFP, but now I'm glad I didn't take it!)

We meet him tomorrow. Fingers crossed that he lets us start again ASAP.

Tomorrow I'm also going to the gym to sign up for a membership!

Also - today the social worker is coming! gah! I'll let y'all know how that goes!

Leora- Sorry for the confirmed Neg but glad it isn't going to be an up and down in numbers. I hope you can start when you want to. Good luck today but I know you won't need it!! It will go fine....let us know! I understand what you mean..even though Dh and I haven't even begun the IVF process we did tons of Clomid tries and two IUI's and while that is nothing compared to what many have done, it's still hard and I question all the time if it's meant for us to have another one. Many times I can't even see having another one in the house because it feels like it may not happen. I promised DH if our first IVF failed I would not push for a second try unless we have the money all ready to go. I can do that much but I know I will keep trying until, well I don't know, I don't think I'll give up unless the money just isn't there OR I'm just too old to keep trying. Scared one of the two will happen before I get to bring home another baby. I don't want to spend all we have or waste so many years, tears and time trying, but it's easier said than done. I always told myself that I won't stop until my RE says there is no way possible....of course aside from the money and age. It's such a huge gamble. You are right though, so many that do truly deserve a child/ren don't always get that.

Leora- Sorry :( Huge hugs... Glad you are looking to start right back up, sometimes its easier to keep going instead of taking breaks... Good luck with the social worker, cant wait to hear how that goes :) Have you tried the insanity or PX90 workout? You do it at home but I heard it really works and probably cheaper then the gym :)

AFM- Hating this rainy weather cant wait for the Sun to shine this weekend!!! Looks like 70's and higher all weekend so I should have a wonderful weekend soaking up the Sun :) Went on a shopping spree again last night, feels so good to buy new things, and even better that DH paid for it :) Love my Birthday Month :)

Evening ladies

Nicole: wow, your in laws trip sounds awful. Will your husband say anything to them to help? I got back to rebounding on sun. Enjoyed it but was tough.

Gina: I find more emphasis on lean protein is the way to go.

Knylee: was it cape cod?

Leora: im so sorry, this is a devestating blow for you. I wish i knew what to say. Have you a meeting with your re? On the exercise front, seriously - dont go straight into itso hard. I know david has your best interests at heart but you need to build up to it and also your body has been through so much, go gently with it - it will have better results. If you are very stressed you will release cortisol and that makes weight loss difficult.

Dandme: really nice to meet you :-) your in laws for a month? Seriously?!!

Anna: are you being released to your ob?

Maria: how are you?

Julia: you ok?

Christy: havnt heard from you in a while, how are you doing?

Lauren: how are you feeling? Is your mil very difficult? Mine died six months into my relatio ship with dh and although I wouldn't have wanted that, she definately would have been awkward

Amanda: havnt heard from you in a bit. Are you ok?

Afm: this damned throat will not go. It woke me at three with a high temperature and burning in my throat but by 730 it was just feeling really dry. Now its getting sore again and ill have to take more pain relief. I've been slowly dropping some weight and i made some calls today about starting accupuncture again for fertility. I've also got some fertility crystals and ill do some reiki for fertility too. I definately feel in a better space around this

Ninde - Have they said anything on your throat infection. Seems like that its been too long to be sick. Maybe there is something else that they are missing.

Nicole: So sorry on your in-laws visits.. I've been blessed to have 2 sets of amazing in-laws (from my first husband whom pasted away and his dad pasted away 2yr after him) but I'm still very close to my MIL and my 2 new ones are so good to me and treat me like there own.. I think even better than there own! lol

Leora: I'm so sorry to hear about the BFN... It sad and I always wonder when they float out of your body .. I haven't received one BFP since starting IVF in 2008.

Dandme: Nice to meet you!

Gina: Glad your nephew is going in for surgery.

Knylee: How was your trip??

Anna: Glad everything is going well with you!!

Lauren: how are you feeling?

Amanda: Hope all is well with you!

AFM_ Could you believe not 1 person asked about my Ice pack and med's! Not through security nothing! I had my note all ready and nope just scanned me through like nothing.. Well at least I had everything ready just in case! The hotel had the fridge ready in my room with a bottle of wine and cheeses.. I was like thanks for the temptation. I am really trying to have no wine or drinks this full month before the transfer.
So I went to the doctors yesterday once I flew in and my levels are good and lining is almost there. (7.3 ) so i am now increasing my estrogen to 3 tabs a day. I go back Friday to do more bloodwork and U/S . If all is good then I start the progesterone shots for 6 days then the transfer!! OMG getting nervous & excited. Looks like it might be June 1st or 2nd!
Good Luck to ALL!

Leora - This sucks. I was hoping to log on tonight and read some good news :( You are the toughest girl I know! You are not giving up on your dreams and are starting right back up agian. I pray that you get your miracle. You guys definitely deserve it!!!!

Ninde - This may be the longest sore throat issue ever! Try and rest up and get better!

kynlee - Happy Birthday Month :)

Lauren319 - I know what you mean. We are taking it day by day. We've had heartbreak in the past and we just pray all goes well and do whatever is in our power to do. How is everything progressing and how do you feel?

Nicole - Sorry about stressful things with the in-laws

Maria - Happy to hear the babies are doing well :)

Gina1976 - Crappy what happened to your parents! Does the bank cover the losses? I've been covered for similliar things but only $1000 was taken...

DandMe - Good luck with your FET! We had a BFP with our FET last year!

annashope - How are you feeling? How's everything going?

Here's my update...
Another US tomorrow. As usuall, didn't feel anything today and started thinking again. Most likely nothing :) The twins were measured at 6weeks 4 days last week and both heartbeats were heard loud and clear. Praying everything is still going fine. Ill post an update after tomorrow afternoons US.

Sorry if I missed anybody (and Im sure I did) but Ill be back tomorrow night!

Leora- I am so sorry. Even though you kinda of knew it was a BFN it still doesn't take away the sting of the official BFN. You ask if we were going to do genetic testing I don't think we will. After 4 failed IVFs, it doesn't matter to me which one took. How do you add a baby ticker? I am keeping my fingers crossed for you & David on the adoption.

blue- Hearing about your in-laws make me appreciate mine much more. I am sorry they are so inconsiderate!

Ninde- I am good just had a super busy weekend at work then crashed all day & night Monday. I can't believe your throat is still sore that sucks! I hope you feel better soon.

Cyn22- I am glad the airport didn't give you any crap about the meds. we have enough stress without adding hassle from the airlines. DH has a hip replacement & every time we travel he makes the metal detector go off & has to step inside the little glass while they inspect him. When we arrived in Hawaii, he got pulled aside bc he made it go off & I was already on the other side. I was waving at him telling him I was going to have fun in Hawaii while he got molested by security..lol

Hopethisworks- I am sure the 2 little ones are doing just fine. good luck tomorrow

Anton: I am dying to hear about your trip!!!

AFM: Sorry for everyone I missed. I am good just waiting for tomorrow for the next beta. I did POAS Sunday at work just to make sure and it turn postive before the control line was done :) I just needed some comfort until we do the beta tomorrow. We had a super busy weekend at the hospital & I am glad work is over until Friday.

Leora, I've been thinking about you all week, I wish I could steal a baby for you and make all this pain go away! :D Do you and David find a good counselor to talk this all out and help you decide on your next best steps? It's an emotional rollercoaster and you are precious cargo!! What about a meeting with the RE? I hope he lets you start when you're personally ready to. Mine always tells me to cycle every other month, to give the body a chance to "recharge the batteries" and rejunerate. I worry about whenever they stim me too long...it makes me think I'm not responding to the meds and what happens to me is the dominant follicle steals all the glory. So then my RE changed it to an antagonist cycle where everything happened so fast and we got a better turnout that the IUI was almost cancelled. I'm curious of what each cycle brings but I know we have to keep going. You're so young so I have a difficult time believing it's a quality issue. Once he tweaks the meds you will have a better outcome on the next cycle. But try to give yourself a well needed break, you've been through soooo much. xoxo

Thanks Ninde, I'll post more when I have more free time I promise. These weeks are flying by with 40 hrs at the boutique. Plus several relatives are "booking" their bed and breakfast stay at my place, my house really needs a full-time maid  but trying to accomodate everyone! Best friend from Al is coming next week... a big cookout planned for next weekend with friends and neighbors. Yes Belles will be there. Today I purchased a straw hat for Annabelle and when I got up to the checkout I asked if this would fit a 10 yr old little girl. She asked if it was for my niece or nephew, I said no my neighbors little girl and to this cashier I couldn't stop talking lol I went on and on about her....even chatted about the upcoming slumber party said we're painting toe-nails and baking cookies next Fri night. She asked if I had any kids of my own? Strange I that I got into this conversation but I openingly told her we may be looking into adoption one day, we miscarriaged two yrs ago but saved my sob story by saying their are soooo many kids out there that need homes.

Just knowing that we will have a family one way or another warms our heart, even if it means adopting we know it's going to happen someday. We just have to fight for what we want in life and adopting could be so rewarding, it's in my thoughts so much. Yes I would adopt tomorrow if dh would let me but he thinks we aren't quite there yet so I'm going through this IVF once again but the Attain program will give me until my 38th birthday, so then dh will know it's time to adopt.

Leora: Sigh. No "right words" exist. I am exasperated for you. I am, however, glad that you got a definitive answer and not another beta hell round. (((HUGS))) to you and David. I hope that your RE is on board with your plan, but if not take a deep breath and stick to the other parts of your plan. You are so focused it is amazing. Your rainbow baby is waiting for you. I hope that all went well with the SW. What nutty timing, but perhaps it was to help keep your mind of the BFN. Be pissed, sad, etc today and then get back on that "bus".....your turn IS coming. Lots of love coming at you my friend.

Leora - ****. I hope your appt goes well. Let us know how it goes and if you get to start up again right away. I don't think I could ever do back to back cycles, so more power to you.

Amanda - good luck tomorrow!!

Cyn - told you! how weird is that? how is it possible that you can walk onto t a plane with syringes full of god know what and no one gives a shit? So strange...and unsettling.

Hope - Good luck tomorrow! I'm sure everything is great! (I seriously question all day long whether or not they're still in there) I don't know how I'm gonna get through this.

Ninde - not that I wish his mother dead, but it does sound lovely t have her not exist :) Difficult is an understatement.

AFM - waiting waiting waiting. I really hope I start barfing or something soon. I need serious signs that this is still working.
