Kynlee- I hope it all works out so it doesn't interfere with EOM at work. I am praying this is your cycle...Let's keep the faith alive and bring home our rainbow babies! :D I really need to get back into crocheting, maybe the 2ww in July will give me some time off from work to make some cute things. Today I created some hairbows for Hannah, sending them a package of stuff they forgot when they visited last week so I thought I would add a few homemade things.

MadameX- yes ma'am I am doing the IVF Attain program, it's more then I can really afford but if we don't bring home a baby 70% percent of our money is refunded back. 3 fresh with 3 frozen cycles giving us 6 attempts so knowing that my first IVF didn't work out I feel the more chances the better. Yes the girls really enjoyed each other, I feel they will be friends for life! Hannah is already telling Annabelle she'll be back in Florida by late-June oh goodness but they would have to stay at Belle's house since my place is booked. Michael's parents are coming next week and then the following week some old friends from Georgia with their 3 kids are coming down to stay the weekend with us. I really need a maid to help me out!

Nicole- How are you doing this afternoon? I hope your migrane is much better and you are taking it easy. That's scary having cardiac trouble please keep us posted on what you find out on the 25th. Which beaches are you referring to? I know it must be up north since the weather is still cool for yall. It was very pleasant at the beach last week and someone at our cookout last Saturday night made a comment that we couldn't of picked a better night. During the summer our humidity is honestly like a heatwave without AC we would all die from extensive heat. For our pets Instead of water bowls we use the 10 gal washbin. I used to wonder why they would never splash in the bin to stay cool, but then I remember all the grueling "forced baths" in this tub when we lived in Ga and they didn't especially like bath-time! We also added a doggy door so our four legged children can come in from the storm too as they are terribly afraid of thunder. One hides out in my guest room closet eventually strolling everything out, just like kids sometimes! But I can never understand why Blackjack pulls out the dryer hose and gets behind the dryer when he'd scared. Does he think the dryer will save him. Does he not like being close to his sister? But it gets a little frustrating to fix the dryer hose everytime it storms. So dh purchased a clothes line (one that folds up for storage) and maybe that will also help with our electric bill. lol our dog might be self-consciously saving us money in the longrun!

Ninde- I'm glad your bloodwork came back fine...You poor thing this throat has to get better soon! We had so many people here at the house last week that I know we need to get this place clean. DId I mention dh's parents are coming next week? That alone should motivate me to start cleaning asap. Poor dh injured his back yesterday trying to move his boat on the trailer hitch, so I'm trying to keep him off his feet. He says he feels so guilty, but secretly he's letting me spoil him. Ahhh Sicily sounds so interesting and I want to hear details all about it! These are places we only get to hear about but it sounds like it would be a place full of culture. P.S. I really loved the irish poem, it's so beautiful and full of serenity.

Leora- I am so sorry to hear about Rosie, I know you are very close to her and she needs you now more then ever. Don't feel guilty about feeling jealous that is natural and while we are happy for others getting pregnant it's normal to wonder but when is it going to be our time. We're waited soooo long for something to happen and we deserve to have kids just as much as the next person. We have to focus on the good, the possibilities and know our time is coming because you must believe it's going to happen one way or another. We've come so far to give up now.
Sooo remind me when is the wedding? I just found out this week my cousin Allison is getting married in October and she only has 4 months to plan everything out. I was there the day her mom brought her home from the hospital so I certainly don't want to miss this! It will be very small outdoor wedding with 3 bridesmaids. Also I need to get ready for our community yardsale, dh and I both have friends from work who will be joining us this weekend. As far as the sightseeing when you live there right in the smack middle so much is taken for granted. Who knows where we'll be this time next year? My guess is I'll be left behind if I follow through with the IVF Attain Program. I cannot freeze my plans forever not knowing what the job outlook is going to be. Probably the biggest risk of my life, however I'm at the point that I cannot let this hold me back... we've procrasinated long enough.

Cyn22- I'm glad you enjoyed reading "my novel", maybe it exhausted you enough for an afternoon nap? Yes preoccupying yourself is the best way to stay out of "crazytown"! I hope the rest of your week continues to zoom by and those boys keep taking such good care of you. My mom asked me last night what are the restrictions when we go through IVF and I said mostly no heavy lifting and to take it easy. We both agreed that includes grocery shopping, hey that's fine by us! So I'll text and let dh take care of all the chores and errands!

Gina- Long time since we last chatted here...I hope all the family drama gets better. How are you going to spend your last summer in Germany? I know you'll make it memoriable with your son and dh. I just cannot wait for you to get home to Georgia though and I know everything will come together. We cannot sweat the small stuff, and when we stop comparing ourselves to those around us we find ourselves so much happier.

AFM: We applied for our loan this morning with the IVF Attain Program. I found out 6 IVF cycles with ICSI payments will be 532.00 per month/7 years. This doesn't include the meds, but at least I feel the loan is somewhat attainable, very much like having an expensive auto loan yes this is my mercedes benz! But the way I'm thinking is if I could pick up my own insurance it would save us 400 a month right there, so going full-time at work is still my plan. My boss told me yesterday our DM is visiting in 2 wks and the final decision for a promotion will be made then, I've been waiting since April to find out so hopefully they will let me know one or another. The other assistant told me it took 8 weeks before she found out so they are snail-pace slow about these things. Yes it's ridicious but glad I'm not depending on insurance right away. Dh's contract with his current employer was extended for one more year- meaning next year will be very interesting! However we've talked extensively and he doesn't want to put this off any longer, we feel it's now or never. My 36th birthday is coming up in July so this will give us two solid years to attempt 6 rounds of IVF as the contract expires on my 38th birthday.

Thanks ladies for the warm welcome!

Ninedine- thanks! That makes me feel better! I was afraid to post with having already had 2 successful pregnancies. I know how it feels. I hope you are all comfortable with me being here. But if not I totally understand and won't post.

Leoira- I think I cycled with you once, not sure anyway, I'm praying that this is the cycle for you! And I remember Rosie! I think we were pregnant the same time she lost her twins :( Hugs to her

Christy- I live in Seattle. We have lots of beaches along the Puget Sound and can go out to the coast with a relative short drive. We are still in the 50's with a few stints in the 60's/70's. We continue to be hovering at about 10 degrees below normal. We sometimes get stuck in these cold spells when the rest of the country is in a heat spell.

My migraine is better, thanks for asking. It was so bad. I have a headache now and don't feel well, but it is nothing like what I had the other day.

Madame- Lupron turns off the ovaries which stops estrogen production. This helps keep the endo at bay. Some people love it and some people hate it. A lot of patients using it for endo will do so with a little estrogen add back therapy to help with the menopausal symptoms.

Leora- A dry sauna is a very hot room with very little humidity. My gym has both the dry and the steam sauna. I've used both. The dry sauna heat is much more tolerable that the steam. I can take the steam at a level 3 and can take the dry all the way up to 10 which averages 180-190 degrees. Yes, it is that hot. I limit myself to 15-20 mins if it is that hot. If it is around 160-170 degrees I will go for 30 mins. I cool off immediately following with a cool shower. I can be heat sensitive with my MS but I seem to do ok with the short burst heat. It's hot weather that I can't seem to take very well.

My work does not know about my MS. In a perfect world I would be protected from discrimination due to the ADA. I don't need any accommodations at this point. My schedule and work situation work well for me. I have had to have some assistance before when I didn't have as much of a flexible schedule or a place to chill. Most employers have been supportive when it has come up but I have had job issues twice. Once I have been with my school district for a year and have worked 1250 hrs (I think) then I am eligible for FMLA protection should I need to have any excessive absences. I think my job now will be good. I worry a lot and my DH freaks out at the thought of my job knowing. I have one person at school that knows.

I get really frustrated sometimes because the fatigue can get so awful. It's not a sleepy I stayed up to late fatigue. It's an overwhelming, I'm stuck in mud and my hands are too heavy to lift fatigue. There have been times I have had to stop driving and take a short nap, it can make me nauseated and frequently becomes painful or uncomfortable at the least. It's a very strange sensation. It worries me because there are days I don't want to walk my dog, much less work or take care of a child. That's what scares me the most about potentially having a baby. The migraine adds another level of complication, pelvic pain from endometriosis, and my heart rate seems to like to drop. Many days I wish I knew what it was like to feel normal.

night night all. Speaking of fatigue, I'm at my limit for the day.

Hey all,

So sorry I've been MIA. I've been a bit out of it with the fatigue and morning sickness, but I'm not complaining :) We got to see our two babies again today. It's so surreal. I can't believe this is all happening.

Nicole - are you feeling any better? I'm so sorry you're going through all this. It sounds almost unbearable. Keep us posted.

Gina - Oy. You've eben put through so much.

Christy - Hopefully, you won't need all 6 rounds!! I'm sure everything will work out and that you'll have done all of this for a reason.

Madame - whaddup, chica??

Leora - I really hope now that things are in motion that your spirits are up. I sincerely know what being in the dark place feels like and it aint easy. I would say, "Chin Up," or some shit, but it won't do anybody any good. All I can say is that I know and I'm here. Also, I dig the dress.

I know I missed like half of you, but I have to lie down. My litter of children-to-be is kicking my ass.

Blueeyedreamer- so sorry about MS, I couldnt imagine what you go through on a day to day basis... Sometimes you dont realize what people have to deal with in life, it is so unfair that there are so many sicknesses out there and not a whole lot anyone can do to help... You are in my prayers, We are all here for you to talk about it, I know it must be hard not to talk to friends at work about what you are going through with it, and its sad that Jobs dont always understand... It would be so much easier for me to tell my work that I am doing IVF just so I can have the time off when needed but they are not understanding when it comes to end of month and needing time off so I chose to not tell anyone till I get my bundle of Joy.... sending you a hug from RI

Christy- yah for finalizing your IVF loan, let the baby making begin :)

Hi ladies

Nicole, that sounds like a dreadful migraine. Dh is on Sebellium to control his ms-migraines, have you heard of it? I think you are absolutely incredible to do all you do. Thank you for the diettips, im going yo eat healthily on holiday and really ramp it up when i get home on Sunday week.

Hopethisworks: glad to hear all is well

Gina: im really sorry to hear about your niece. She is treating you terribly. Maybe you really need to walk away with love?

Leora: I like teaching therapy yes, its part of my work. I have quite a lot of variety, 2 days a week i work with a therapy organization and we work with individuals, couples and families, 1 evenig a week I teach, one day a week i work with the group with suicidal issues and the rest of the week im in private practice.

Kynlee: thank you. I've felt good yesterday and today so im hoping it lasts!! How is your sinus infection?

Madam x: your transfer is just around the corner, that's great.do you like your clinic?

Christy; so am I right in thinking each ivf is nearly 7,500 dollars? Your poor husband, is his back bad?

Dys: I think its great you have had two successful pregnancies - it extends hope. And it also means that you can really support as well as be supported. Everyone's journey is so different and i hope yours goes really well

Lauren: lol, your "litter of children" - that's great!!

Cyn: how are you doing?

Afm: just getting organized for sicily on Sunday :D

Christy- YAY for the loan. I am sure it makes you feel better.

Blue- I know the feeling of wanted to feel normal MS & Lupus has many similar symptoms. They took off my lupus meds during just this past week due to the pregnancy bc my meds are a class C. I am so nervous about not taking them but my RE & rheumotologist agreed so here I am no meds. Fatigue & joint pain my 2 main problems. Like you I wonder about taking care of a child, but I believe we will both be fine. If nothing else just out of pure determination :)

Leoria- Love the dress :) I hope you get to start your stims Sunday.

Lauren- So glad you & your litter are doing well :)

Hope- I am so sorry about the twin :( I am praying the other twin stays strong & healthy.

AFM: sorry for everyone I missed. this week ultrasound was good baby's HB is 125 and measuring 7cm. I am now 7wks along.
the other night I went to bed & was burning up with a fever I was so hot my DH said he could feel the heat coming off of me, but it was gone the next morning. weird huh? my next us is Thursday. they took me off my lupus medication which feels weird but I guess they know what they are doing.

Ninde- Our loan would be 32,250 for 6 attempts, but the total cost of bringing home a baby? priceless! Actually it's more attainable to break it down into payments then look at the total amount. My first reaction was how anyone afford to do this? But when I look back I was badly burned when my first IVF didn't work costing us 14,000 (including meds). Even 3 more cycles would cost us 42,000 if paid upfront for each cycle we attempted. I mentioned if we don't bring home a baby we will receive 70% of our money back, it's in the contract and I have asked to ensure we understand. The way we are seeing this if we don't the money that is refunded will go toward adoption.

AFM: Trying to motivate myself to prepare for a yardsale tomorrow at 7:30a so much still needs to be done...but it will help us if we decide to sell our house next year. But fat chance of moving with my husband IF he finds another job since I spoke with the clinic and they told me once we sign the IVF contract it is nontransferable since each clinic is ran differently. IF it takes me up to 6 IVF attempts I will be residing in FL for quite some time and it's kind of scary since my husband and my coworkers are only the people I really know. But I'm praying everything will work out so he can stay here and we can keep the house. We would be willing to do whatever it takes to have a family and I know many of you certainly can relate.

Amanda- Wow do you think the fever might be caused from an infection? Usually the wbc will increase to fight off any infection making the body temperature rise. I wonder if that fever was from the Lupus meds but it's best to trust the docs they know what they are doing.

Lauren319- lmao... just wait until you get 6 months along!

Nicole- Glad your migrane is better! Seattle reminds me so much of Frazier. We'll I had to find out in case we decide to move up there someday. I'm still thinking Texas or Maryland but today dh talked about a job in Philadelphia. No telling where this road will take us but maybe our baby will be conceived in LA (Lower Alabama)...because Panama City is that far from my home in Alabama.

Trying to motivate myself to prepare for a yardsale tomorrow at 7:30a so much still needs to be done...but it will help us get rid of junk if we decide to relocate. Big fat chance of moving with my husband IF he finds another job since I spoke with the clinic and they told me once we sign the IVF contract it is nontransferable since each clinic is ran differently. I've learned that once you think you have job stability tomorrow it could very well be taken away....Life is full of change, we just have to learn how to adapt and make the best out of it. Maybe sometimes it's about taking that risk if something is meant to happen.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend...I wanted to take a moment to wish our dear friend Antonia a very special birthday coming up June 11th. I know the time zone is different for each one of us so I thought we would start celebrating her birthday tonight. Quick update-we had our monthly growth scan on Thursday. Baby A-Anna Christina is weighing 1 pound/15 ounces and Baby B-Katerinna Maria is weighing 1 pound/12 ounces :D I also had my one hour glucose tolerance test and failed it by 8 points :( I go back on Monday for the three hour glucose tolerance test. Not too thrilled about this but I'll do anything for these little ones.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Sending you all xoxo...

Gina - sorry about your computers! That sucks. Whenever my computer is broken, I feel so abandoned! The internet at work wasn't working most of today - and no one had work to do! Amazing how we are all dependant on computers, no?

Kynlee - any sign of AF? I've never heard of that medicine, but most of the things used to bring on AF are some form of progesterone, when you stop it, your body has 'withdrawal' and starts bleeding. I would bet within 5-10days of stopping it.

Cyn - just one more day! Not tempted to POAS yet?

Lydia - I was kidding about naming your daughter after me, but in general, I really love my name :D It's a little hard for Americans to pronounce, but not awful (like Chanoch or something like that!). Have you picked a name for your little girl yet?

MadameX - I'm anovulatory, so there is nothing to suppress, so no Lupron needed. In a way, it's kinda a good thing I'm anovulatory -- I went to see my OBGYN as soon as we started TTC, because I just wouldn't get a period. A few monitored cycles showed I wasn't ovulating and I was put on Clomid. When the Clomid made me ovulate, but I didn't get pregnant, we did the semen analysis and revealed our big MFI issues, and we were referred to IVF (and it's actually easier to do the IVF if you don't ovulate). So kinda lucky in a backwards way!

Christy - the wedding is Aug 23. The dress should arrive the first week in July - hopefully it fits! :D $530/month sounds reasonable. Sucks that this stuff isn't covered by insurance! Who the hell decided that infertility treatments weren't a necessary medical procedure? It's not like you are getting a boob-job! Sheesh. -- I hope the yard sale went well. There was an English speaking community yard sale here. We didn't hvae a table, but we went shopping! I got lots of good books!

Dys- when have you cycled? I've done July 2009, March 2010, May 2010, July 2010, Dec 2010, Feb 2011, Nov 2011 and April 2012 - and now in June 2012. Phew. Can't believe I've done so many!

Nicole - you are lucky to have such a flexible job that can accomodate you. Can I ask how long you've been living with MS? How old were you when you were diagnosed? That must have been devastating. Does your insurance cover all the treatment you need for the MS? --- Lumbar strain? How did you do that? Feel better!

Lauren - yay! So glad the babies are doing well! I was worried because you had bleeding, so it's nice to know all 3 of you are okay! -- THanks for understanding that there isn't anything to say - and knowing that just being here is so appreciated.

Amanda - that's so weird about the fever. I hope you are feeling better! I take anti-depressants (and can barely function without them) and they are Class C (Prozac is a Class A drug, but the Effexor that works better for me is Class C). My psychiatrist said that the risks to the baby are low, and I'm better off on the drugs. But it's a really scary decision. Of course, I would happily give up my own health for the baby, but when it's a gray area, it's so hard to know what the right decision is. I would just trust the doctors and try not to think about it.

Patricia - have a great time in Sicily and don't think of us at all! :D

Antonia - happy birthday tomorrow!

AFM - baseline was okay this morning. I was concerned, because while my ovaries are quiet, my lining was 9.2 (as opposed to 4.5 ten days ago) and "not regular" - and my e2 was 125 (should be under 100). RE said it was fine, and insurance came through with the approval, so I'm stimming again! I took 225 Puregon and continue until my next SnS on Thursday (seems pretty soon for a SnS, but whatever).

Yay!

I'm also planning a trip to the USA for early Aug. If I get pregnant, I can't go, which would be fine. But this way, if I get another BFN, I have a fun back up plan. I"ll visit my family and some friends. Anyone in the NY/NJ/PA region? I hope not to make it, but if I do - let's meet up!
