Evening ladies

Tiger: its great you are feeling so good :D

Knylee: I had that worry during my pregnancy and i looked into it and spoke with people and the overall feeling was if you can try not to - there just seems to be no definitive "its absolutely safe". Like Maria said, the second trimester is safer. Im having mine cut and colored on sat in advance because I remember how much I needed it the last time and couldnt!!

Waiting Kay: the down reg is fine so far, drinking lots and keeping headaches at bay. But af is late - im usually 28/29 days. Im now day 30 and no sign! My baseline isnt until the 8th but i just want af to come! How are you feeling?

Pocos: oh yes, I can imagine unripe might give stomach ache!! Im sorry your embryos didnt make it to freeze but take heart, they really do transfer the best. Im really rooting for you and hoping this week goes quickly :D

Maria: I think skype has gone down again!!
Ker: im glad you had a massage, did it help? Do you know the weight of your two little ones?I hope to start stimms nextwed week.

Wonder cat: im really sorry, I cant answer your question. Did you ring your re?

Dys: fingers and toes crossed for you for friday?

Nicole: how are you today?

Madam x: still down regging, if af ever arrives(!!) I have a baseline on wed week, aug 8th and hopefully start stimming then. So morning g sickness is hitting? Are you ok?

Afm: beginning to get ancy around no af!!!!

Hey everyone! Sounds like things are going well, headaches, bloating and the such as well!

Leora- Congrats! I'm so excited for you and on the eve of your birthday too, how exciting is that!

Ninde- ok, so everyone talks about down regulating.....what is that, is that long lupron regime?

Anton- I can't wait to hear how the job is going!

MadameX- nausea is usually a good sign. I remember the couple of times I was prego, I WANTED to feel sick. I figured if I felt sick, that all was well..... isn't that crazy? With my oldest (20 yrs old), I was sick the entire time, all of the way up to delivery, with my second one (18), I wasn't sick at all. With these last 2 pregnancies, I was slightly nauseous, but not much. I guess for this one, I want to be nauseous, but then for it to go away when I feel comfortable with the pregnancy...ha! Can't wait to hear the results of the U/S.

Wondercat- you are totally fine! Most of us have done worse! With all of the meds, and then you add to it the stress of all of this, I'm not sure how anyone can keep it straight! You are doing great!

Kynlee- so I totally dye my hair all througout. I am more careful this time around. I will be getting my hair done right before my transfer so that it will be closer to 2nd trimester when I get it done again. I can tell you though, with my previous pregnancies, 18 and 20 yrs ago, I was a dying fool. I was doing my hair from day one, all the way up to the day before I popped. With my last one, I got a wild hair up my butt and dyed my hair a strawberry blonde(I am naturally a dirty blonde) and when my son popped out, the nurse commented how he got his hair from me. My response was, "dang, that was some good hair color I used last night, I didn't know it would get to him that quickly".....she looked at me, laughed and turned red. If they would have actually looked at my husband at the time, he had red hair......now my big baby has blonde hair, no red in sight.

AFM- just got back from a 4 day trip for my Mary Kay business. Super fun. However, I think it was the Lupron that made my feet swell so bad. In fact, they started swelling again today. My feet haven't swelled in 2 years. Anyways, this Lupron was a lot more concentrated than any of the lupron that I've been on before. Other than that, hanging in there. Today was my last Lupron shot, started 1 estrogen patch on Friday, then yesterday. I believe this Wednesday I do 3 patches and then sometime later this week I up it to 4 patches. The doc also wants me to add an oral estrogen on Saturday. My body is low on estrogen and high on testosterone. My donor starts her stimms this Saturday! I'm excited. I can't wait to hear her progress, although I am prepared for her to go long. We are looking for a retrieval anywhere around the 15-18th of Aug, then we will do a 3 day transfer. I'm guessing he will only let us put 2 in there to bake, but we will find out if some home made choc chip cookies will change his mind. Oh, I have been drinking that pineapple/mint stuff......super yum! I'm guessing it is working, I'm peeing all of the time and my feet stop swelling when I drink it.

Kynlee - I'm already getting so excited before your Wednesday U/S!

Ninde - I'll do the dance for you, like you all did for me when my AF too was late this cycle. Mine came 2 days later and It was annoying!
Other than being so bloated in the evenings which causes me to sleep poorly and wake up with lower back pain (from all the water weight my body is carrying around the abdomen now), I feel fine. Also during the first pregnancy I didn't have MS and I once read in a book that in some African tribes where women never heard of MS they never have it either. I thought it was something in the head only I know my mom for instance didn't know she was pregnant with me until MS hit her hard. So I guess I'm just not responding badly to HCG. I just have these little hunger attacks, but maybe those are just an excuse my body is trying..."feed me chocolate now"

Patricia- Doing the AF dance for you. Hopefully she shows soon and you can get started.

Madame- My first suppression check is tomorrow morning.

Pocos- Sorry about not having any to freeze. I know that is disappointing. Good luck with this 2WW.

Leora- Happy Happy Birthday! What an amazing gift.

Always- Best of luck tomorrow for beta 2.

Kynlee- There will always be varying opinions on things like hair dye, allergy meds, etc. You have to go with your gut. Hair stylists who are around the chemicals all day long have slightly higher m/c rates, but it is attributed mostly to inhaling the fumes for hours and days on end. It's not the typical client who does it once every 6-8 weeks. I've been going to a Paul Mitchell salon and get a soy protein glaze that is a little easier on the hair and doesn't have as much of a scent. It's also not permanent.

AFM- I felt terrible for the first half of the day, terrible exhaustion and lots of cramping. It subsided later in the day and now I just feel a little crampy. I'm still bleeding from AF and am on day 4 of stims. I don't remember from last time how long to expect to have AF. I started bleeding on Friday so it's been 4 days. It is slowing down but still red. Weird. I'll ask about it tomorrow.

Night night.

Ninde- Doing the A/F dance for you :)

Kay- So sorry you are still so bloated, but your Bean is nice and comfy and hopefully your swelling goes down soon :)

Lauren- Just curious how the whole DE works, I see alot of women that are using DE and they know when she stims etc, I guess I just thought it was like DS and you pick out of a catalog and they are pre frozen. I used DS for this Cycle and I think that is why I am pregnant so glad my DH was ok with it :) Best of luck Aug 15th will be here before you know it :)

Alwaysangel- Cant wait for you great beta # tomorrow :)

AFM- Still got some allergies but feeling somewhat better.. Talked to the nurse yesterday she said they only recommend Benadryl while pregnant... Also I asked about the Haircolor she said they dont recommend til after 1st trimester and then she said she would ask my ob how he feels about me dying at all during pregnancy since every Dr has there own opinions... So I decided just to wait... Thank you all for your opinions on that issue, I guess there is no definite answer but why risk any chance if I am questioning it... :( Ill have to dye it when I go into labor lol or I may look like a granney with my grays lol

Kay – How are you doing?

Pocos – Both IVF cycles, I had nothing to freeze either. I think everyone is different, but that was my experience as well. Don’t worry about the two they transferred. I transferred two and am pregnant and I had nothing to freeze! With the cell counts you had, those embryos sound fantastic! On day 3, my RE said they are looking for eggs between 6-10 cells, so yours sound wonderful. They just want to make sure that if they freeze one that it will make it through a thaw, which is a lot harder on it, so it has to be a good embryo to freeze. Do not worry about it at all! I have everything crossed for you!

Wondercat – I wish I had some advice, but I’m not sure! You should ask Ghost!

Madame X – awesome! I cannot wait to hear about the U/S! congratulations!

Ninde – I’m doing the AF dance for you!

LauraN – very exciting! Congrats on starting your cycle soon!

Always – can’t wait for your beta tomorrow! I’ll be stalking you!!!

LEORA – HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! SUCH GREAT THINGS TO CELEBRATE!!

AFM: Nothing new! I don’t have blood work until Friday…which is fine. With each day comes more patience, hope, and strength that this is going to work! I went to Shiatsu for the first time on Sunday night…wow…it was amazing. Really helps with blood flow and relaxation. Has anyone done it? I’m going to do it 2 times a week and then the 3rd week do acupuncture to support the pregnancy. Although, I’ve been a huge fan of acupuncture, the Shiatsu massage is amazing! Really helping with the relaxation through the first hard weeks…
