Hi Ladies!

Blue – YAY for the BFP on the HPT!! Can’t wait till Tuesday to see your beta number :D

LauraN – Congrats on being PUPO!! How are you feeling?

Ninde – Good Luck with your retrieval tomorrow!! Let us know how you make out and are feeling! It is great that you were able to take some time off too.

Kay – I can understand why you feel the way you do. Good luck with your upcoming u/s! I can’t wait to hear about how things are progressing along!

Jayne – You never know there could be a few follies hiding, but as long as the quality is what matters the most, not how many!

AFM – Had our annual golf tournament yesterday; it benefits one of my high school friends who passed away about 5 years ago. I volunteer every year and help out for the day. However, I got this intense pain above my belly button up into my ribs and even under my boobs…. I think it was gas! I couldn’t sit up straight; I could even turn to put my seatbelt on with out cringing in pain! It was horrible and lasted until I woke up in the middle of the night, which at that time I was starving!! My DH made me waffles at like 2:30 am :) This next u/s for me is going to feel like a year away! I just feel I need constant reassurance!

Blue - Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is one happy thread, now even more:)))

Just a quick note:

Ninde - Good luck today, I can't wait for your good news! About the pineapple: I ate 2 pieces max per day, I sliced just that piece I was going to eat that moment and covered the rest and put back in the fridge. Then I'd cut really close to the rind and made sure to eat the inside of the "circle" too. So Your pineapple should be pretty ripe for the inside not to be stone hard. I ate these pieces everyday for at least a week after transfer, then kept buying one whenever the price seemed okay and the last one I bought right after we left the clinic and saw our happy news. I am praying for the same outcome for you. I wasn't strictly on bed rest because my clinic just advices you to take it easy the day of and the day after transfer, I took it easy for a week. That means no getting seriously angry (I am a red head and gets pretty feisty sometimes so I had to mellow down). My logic even though I know normally women don't mind what they're doing after trying naturally, is that esp. for transfers such as mine - 3 day, and your - 2 days - these aren't the dates the embies naturally would come down to the womb and therefore you have to let them adjust, plus (not any less important) your body, unlike any naturally ttc woman has been through a lot. Nature selects the fittest and you should try and make believe that you have a stable environment to give the LO or LOs. No Dr. would confirm my mumble jumble, but the best theories in science were crazy inventions nobody believed at first. Giant hug and good luck!!!

Hi everyone, I'm in a rush so forgive me for making this short again, and surely for leaving many women out -

Leora - honestly, I'm not so nervous about the cerclage yet but maybe it's only because we don't even know when we'll have it. When are you going to have yours? I'm asking because from your ticker I could see you are already after 10 weeks and you wrote your next scan wasn't until 3 weeks from now. Remember you have been through so much, this will truly be very minor for a strong girl like you.

Ninde - I keep on praying and crossing my everything for you. Keep calm and don't decide to leave the process or anything else for that matter now. See what happens first then deal with it. Just be kind to yourself, as long as all we can do is send our loving words to you from afar and not physically be there with you. But you have every hug of every woman who knows what this is like and every prayer and positive thought. I'm thinking of you all the time, and came right away to check for your news.

Madamx - Yes, this is my SIL in all her glory. And we've already been through a lot of pain that even if I'm mature enough to acknowledge wasn't cause by her, she always knew how to make things just a tiny bit worse. She's just a spoiled brat who never had ro work a single day.

Patricia- It's far from being over and I will be praying both will fertilize. I remember not so long ago a former cycle buddy with only one embryo to work with and she is now 23 weeks along. I really believe miracles do happen even when we least expect them. I have you in my thoughts and will be praying hard, please keep us posted. X

Jayne- Sending you good thoughts and I hope your retrieval goes smoothly with a good outcome tomorrow.

Leora- Yes it's frustrating how insensitive coworkers can be but we have to draw the line somewhere I know. As a manager I have to separate those feelings from my job and not let it affect my work. Right now I'm working with ways to improve my outlook and avoid having any more secret meltdowns in the back room. As for the list mistress we know several have moved on over to an August thread and now September thread which makes sense, but I would like to say we made some VERY good friends here along the way and I know these friends will continue stalking all the way until we bring home our babies... :D

Nicole- I am so excited for you pee sticks...Keep on peeing and posting, we LIVE for good news!!!!

MadameX- I heard that's a huge pregnant side effect, but how sweet of your husband to make waffles at 2:30am. Good man!

Annashope-I appreciate you sharing how you dealt with a very similar situation to mine. I'm glad you were able to set them straight with what you needed and expected out of them. Often enough unless out voice is heard we'll find ourselves miserable. So at some point in this journey when it gets to be too much, we owe it to ourselves to advocate our coworkers and family. I need them to know it's ok to celebrate her unplanned pregnancy but I'm having a tough time handling it. Thank you for reminding me it's ok to speak our minds. x

With this "termporally situation", I know mentally beating ourselves up to the lowest point is not going to get us ANYWHERE, because we're stronger then that and deep down we CANNOT give up! Each new day there is given opportunity to make a difference in our lives, maybe sometimes we need to vent and breathe.. Dh took me to church yesterday to an 8:15 service at a new church. We rarely had been attending and I was personally starving for some spiritual energy, we sat with some of our newest neighbors lol imagine that. Afterwards dh took me out for breakfast, then drove me to and from work but he didn't seem to mind...I know here lately we've felt like "roommates". Over breakfast I did bring up counselling and his response was "I'm too cheap for that." This man wears T-shirts with holes in them, lol he even gets mad when I even try to throw them away! Bringing that up reminded him of me asking him countless times when he was going to see a doctor about that spot on his back. Are most men like him?

Dh has a support group at the college and I'm very thankful he confides in these friends. One of the librarians (like a mother to him) gave him a big bag of therapeutic books to read. I know his friends can relate to what he's going through, even when we had the miscarriage two years ago support poured into his office sharing their own personal tragedy and that helped him get through hardship. He came home one day telling me all about it...how he never knew miscarriages were so common and said but they went on and tried again giving him much encouragement. He's very frugal BUT when it comes to a baby he wants me to go through the entire experience our very own so much he's willing to spend whatever it takes. Of course I'm the one fussing over the cost but we have to focus on the outcome. He often tells me he doesn't want his job holding us back. He's very determined applied for more then a dozen jobs over the summer. I know we both worry about what the future will bring and it's especially hard not having control, but I keep reminding him we're in this together. I often hear him say he would had jumped off a bridge a long time if it had not been for me, but in the big scheme of things he should know I need him just as much. I'm very blessed to have a man who loves me unconditionally, someone who picks me right back up whenever I fall.

Nicole - congrats!! Thats a BFP!!!

All - Thanks for all the advices and words of encouragement. I think I will call my in laws and tell them what is going on, since last time I saw them, my mother in law was saying that she couldnt wait to have a little "Sean" (thats my husband's name). As fas as friends, I may be telling the closest ones.

As soon as I receive the results of the karyotype test and the counsyl test I will meet with the doctor to start another cycle, hopefully in October or November :-)

Hi ladies

Kynlee: ah, you missed my post then? Yes er today and only 2 eggs.

Jayne: good luck tomorrow - I hope they missed another 5 or 6 on your scan :D

Kay: you dont know what your words meant to me, thank you so much x

Nicole: thank you and im sending love to your embryos x

Christy: thank you for your thoughts and please keep up the prayers x

Afm: going to get up for a while. Im saying the serenity prayer alot and hoping I can go with it. The reason I said this would prob be our last try is because of cost. Im also really shocked at just 2 eggs and wonder is my reserve just too low. But im calm and im hoping for good news.

The Serenity Prayer
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will direct your paths.
