Nicole- Glad your beta turned out well and I hope you get some rest soon. I'm the same way with contractors when we had our hardfloor in the kitchen redone to sell our first home I felt confined for the entire day. Do not like smelly men in my house.

Patricia- You know I have 8/31 marked on my calender. How was your first off day at home, hopefully it was relaxing? I stayed home today too and got the front yard mowed, dh makes fun of me b/c I mow in the opposite direction then he does (hortizonally instead of vertical) I told him I do that on purpose to make the yard look bigger. lol I asked him what he wanted to do for our 13th anniversary and he said save our money for the upcoming surgery, he's too funny he calls my IVF treatment surgery. But I need creative ideas what to plan next Sunday, (of course anniv is actually Monday but we're both working.)

Lyd- Congratulations on your baby girl, awww she is a precious premie so sweet! Enjoy every moment of this miracle. x Looking back I remember your journey so well, I know the hardship you endured in the last year...You bring us so much hope that anything worth having is not meant to be easy. Anyway I don't mean to be mushy but thank you for letting us be a part of your journey and touching our lifes. x

Lyd-congratulations!!! I am so happy for you. I can't wait to see pics of your precious little one. Rest up.

Kerpupples-how are you feeling? I know these last few weeks are tough but if you can hang in there it will ultimately be better for your little ones. I can't tell you how difficult it was to see Katerina in an incubator and not be able to hold her. And that was only for 72 hours but it was the most heart wrenching 3 days of my life. So keep them cooking as long as you can.

Sunshine-how are you?

Jayne-great embies. Praying for your BFP!!!

LauraN-how are you doing? Hanging in there until Beta day? Praying for your BFP.

Kynlee-how are you feeling?

Waitingkay-how are you feeling?

Pocos-still thinking of you. How are you?

Blue-woohoo, congratulations!!! Great Beta. I'll be praying for great doubling times.

Ninde-how are you feeling? Will you be POAS anytime soon?

AFM-I'm running on fumes but wouldn't have it any other way. DH and I are over the moon in love in love with the girls. I stare at them and I still can't believe they are here. I will try to catch up with the board. I posted new pics of the girls on the PAT Board. Sending you all my love...

Maria- The girls are so beautiful I could only imagine how much you are in love with them.
You asked how I was doing...Well I had been doing well up until my mom called tonight and asked me questions about my SIL's (Tonya) embryos that she had heard from my other SIL (Molly) that she had an embryo left over that they had frozen. She said you know they transfered two and could of had twins I said yes mom that's how IVF is normally done, and sometimes 3 embryos are even transfered. If you remember Tonya and I were a week apart who went on and delivered a beautiful son, named Will who I absolutely adore. What got to me was when my mom asked me if I thought they would use the embryo for Will to have a sibbling, I said maybe but it's their personal decision and then I broke down on the phone and said mom why are you asking me these questions?!?!?! You know I don't even have one of our own and you know I really want this to happen what you even thinking? She said well I'm getting off the bus in downtown Atlanta and I'll call you when I get to my car. I said no we'll talk sometime tomorrow. My mom knows what I've been going through I even have cried on the phone about wanting a baby. Has she thought we've given up OR that I should give up and accept things the way they are? I had to tell dh everything and then I went and cried some more and then turned around and called my oldest brother to ask if Molly had told her about the frozen embryos because someone has been gossiping and I didn't like it, not one bit at all. I didn't get very far becasue Molly denied it saying it was my Aunt Linda and there was no point in calling my Aunt Linda ( my mom's sister) because I know she likes to talk and would probably tell me my mom just doesn't think before she speaks and try to make everything seem ok when it's not! I don't feel like hearing other's excuses I just don't want my life turning into another competition, hence why we don't live near family. My oldest brother listened to me sob on the phone, I told him everything and asked him to pray for us. I told him I started to call my other brother to let him know Mom has been gossiping and I didn't appreciate it but my mom's very lucky that I couldn't get him on the phone-- realized I would really stir things up if I told him. I am very angry about this and she should know we want a baby of our own but now it feels like a big circus competition. I know she wasn't thinking and had no sensitivity to how I was feeling. This is my own mom and honestly I love her but she has no idea how she hurts me emotionally when she talks like that. Honestly I was doing so well in handling everything this week but completely lost it after that conversation. I need to stay far away from family for a while...I certainly cannot be around any more gossip my life already feels like a Truman show.

Sunshine, if I have learned anything through this, is to try to forgive people their ignorance. The vast majority of the time, they have no clue of the impact their words have (like my friend who just texted me, complaining about her pregnancy weight gain. She also copied a friend who just had an m/c. I was like SERIOUSLY???) They just have no clue, but most aren't intentionally hurting you. Doesn't mean it's not very hard to take though! Sorry for your rough night!

Thanks BRMommy- I know I tend to take things personal sometimes but all I ask for family members and my closest friends is to have a little consideration, I don't think that's asking for too much. But you are right they get so wrapped up that they forget about us over here struggling through stuff we have no control over. Sometimes we have to ignore them the best we can but it's hard to do that when it comes from your own mother.

I know. When I told my mom for the first time, she said something like: But that can't be! Your dad and I never had to try for more than a month or two for any if you!

Clearly, Mom, it can be, because it is!

BRMommy- So true, our own moms are in denials most of the time and don't know how to respond to our treatment, this is why I'm glad we have each other right here. I hate more then anything for my dh to see me get upset at my mom because for years I have tried to get along with her but he gets all protective and resents her when he sees me like this and holds a grudge longer then me because I am forgiving when it comes to my loved ones, while he's being protective and what not.
Thanks for bringing me back to a peaceful state of mind and calming me down. x

Christy- I'm so sorry you had to deal with that. Moms can be really good at saying the wrong thing! Hopefully going through all of this will make us sensitive to our future daughter or DILs needs.

Maria: im good thanks, still dizzy but i think its vertigo. Did you get some sleep?

Christie: that's a horrible situation. Ultimately I know brmommy is right but in the heat of the moment its almost impossible not to take it personally. Take some time away and vent as much as you like here. I'll say a prayer that your mother "cops on" as we say in ireland - I.e wises up a bit x

Brmommy: really - your friend tested that?! I remember my mum (a couple of years before she died) "I was looking at baby cards today - not that it seems I'll ever need them for any of you"!!! My twin was doing ivf, my older sister had miscarried and my husband has ms!!!
