LauraN: beta is Thursday. They couldnt really tell me anything. Bleeding is continuing as well as horrible clumps of what I presume is residual from the progesterone applicator. And cramps. This is not fun

Thank you all for your prayers & kind words! It was a bittersweet moment last night thinking of my life & where I am today! Life is amazing so I will continue to enjoy every moment! Our baby or babies will come to us when the time is right, I know it & can feel it!
Julia - I'm so sorry for all you have been thought but this baby or babies you have growing inside is your gift! It's your time to enjoy every minute of it..
Ninde- just rest, drink lots of water & keep your legs up. They all assured me this is so common symptoms.

Afm- need to start my research on FET .. Also not sure if I should start this right away or wait a cycle or two? Any suggestions? I would love to hear stories or ideas since I haven't done a FET cycle yet. Do I still do shots? I have no idea...

Thanks again for the wishes it means alot to myself & DH! Xoxo
Good Luck to ALL!

first and foremost - Image

Happy Passover from the Holy Land!

And to those who celebrate - Image

Julia - CONGRATS! That is a great great great beta! Have you POAS to see the beautiful second line yet? How many dpt are you?

Cyn - I'm so sorry. Image Sometimes there are just no answers. I've had 3 BFNs and each one is so hard. People can never understand how hard it is to hear that a cycle failed, but we know that we poured every ounce of energy, patience and love into that cycle - and when it fails, it's absolutely crushing. I hope your RE has some suggestions of what to do next. My old clinic used to make me wait a cycle in between a fresh and a FET - but my new RE says I don't have to wait between fresh and FET (I only have to wait between fresh and fresh).

Nicole - ugh. I'm so sorry you are feeling crappy. Any idea what's causing the hives? MS sucks. Image

Patricia - no idea about the bleeding - I've only had bleeding once during a 2ww and it was BFN, but that doesn't mean anything for you. Just a few more days until your beta! Image

Laura - hurray! They can do the PGS and a transfer in the same month? I thought that because the results from the PGS took a while to come back that they biopsied the embryos and then froze them, since they wouldn't have results soon enough to transfer them fresh. Interesting. In any case - 6 embryos from 11 eggs is great! I know this wait is agonizing - but hopefully Wednesday will come with good news of lots of good embryos to choose from! Image

Globetrotter - how are you?

Gina - November? Wow. I didn't realize you had such a long wait. I'm sorry.

AFM - well, I survived another Passover Seder. Long story, but we didn't go to my in-laws, we went to friends instead.

Passover is really hard. Both my first set of twins and my third little one were all due on Passover. Last year, I was 12 weeks pregnant with my boys. I can't believe that Passover has come around again and we still have empty arms.

There is a line in the Passover seder - one of the praises we said to God - that he "brings the barren woman home, the mother of many sons, Hallelujah". I always cry for that one.

The Passover seder is all about re-telling the story of Exudos for the children - to pass on the story. So much of the liturgy refers to 'tell your children'... and we don't have any and don't know if we ever will. It's so painful.

In other news - just 3 more BCP to take, and one of them is tonight! As of Tuesday, I'll be off the meds and waiting for AF. I hope the (b)witch comes on time - so I can start my stims next Sunday or Monday! Image

Part of me is so hopeful. I can't help the planning (ie - if this works, I'll get my BFP on Mother's Day, I'll be due in Jan, I'll need to have my cerclage around the beginning of July, by my birthday I'll be wearing maternity clothes, I'll be big and huge for my BIL's wedding (he is planning on proposing to his GF in the next few days)). D thinks it's crazy and obsessive, but I can't help it. I always figure out what my due date will be -- I still remember my potential due dates from my BFN cycles. Am I nuts?

watch that ticker go down to less than a week! whooooohoooo!

Cyn - I am so sorry that you are back in the IVF saddle. But on a positive note, a FET is a piece of cake compared to a fresh cycle. My little miracle resulted from a FET after 2 failed fresh cycles and I have concluded that my body is more receptive to the process during a frozen cycle. I feel that all of the suppression and stimming is too much of a yo yo for my little body to be receptive to implantation right afterwards. You may have injections depending on the form of progesterone that your clinic uses. My doc only had me on Estradiol tablets and the PIO shots prior to the transfer. I also took a baby aspirin right before and for the first 7 weeks of the pregnancy. The only reason I waited a cycle between my fresh and frozen was because I wanted to have an endometrial biopsy done prior to my frozen cycle to stimulate my endometrium and promote implantation. So my failed cycle was in July, I had the biopsy in August and the FET in Sept. Now I have seen some clinics use Lupron prior to a FET, and I am not too sure why. In any case, you should be able to go right into a FET cycle if your doc/clinic allows it. Best of luck to you.

Ninde - I am so sorry you are having bleeding ... stay positive my friend.

LauraN - Sounds like you have a good set of embryos to work with. I will say a prayer that it all works out for you to have enough to freeze.

Julie - Congrats, cannot wait to hear what your beta is on Monday.

Leora - Excited to see you cycling again ... Hoping and praying that you get your miracle this time around.

Babysoft - How did your U/S go?

Hugz to you all!!

Wow, lots is happening this week.

Julia73 - Congrats on your BFP.

Cyn22 - I am so sorry. :( I have no idea how a frozen cycle work so looking forward to learning too.

Ninde - I am crossing my fingers for you. Hopefully the bleeding will stop soon. Looking forward to Thursday.

Leora - Happy Passover. And thanks for the reminder! I have a few friends to email. Good luck with your cycle. Funny enough, the worse part of it for me was the bcp. I hate it!

LauraN - 6 fertilized eggs is a great number. I am sure Wednesday can't come soon enough!

ASF - Things are moving along. I should trigger tonight (waiting for confirmation in the next few hours). ER is scheduled on Monday, and ET either Thursday (3-day) or Saturday (5-day). This morning, I was told I have 18 mature follicles and ~6 not mature so this was good news. So tonight should be my last day of injections! Crossing fingers. I am feeling OK... no side effects. The worse was the bcp and 10 days of lupron. Stims have been fine.

How did you decide how many embryos to transfer? This is the plan for me and I was wondering if it's pretty standard?
If Day 3 transfer, 1 or 2 embryos depending on the quality. If Day 5 transfer, 1 embryo. I know my hospital is pretty conservative when it comes to that. I was hoping to transfer two but will leave it up to my doctor to make the call.

Hi ladies and happy easter :D

Leora: happy Passover :D

Fvrogers: thank you very much

Globe: sounds like things are going well. I think what your clinic are suggesting is pretty standard. Hope it goes well

Afm: im still bleeding, its pretty constant and is now very red and like a period. So im Pretty sure ive either lost one of the little embryos or both of them. Im not being negative, its just this hasn't stopped now in 30 hours and its changed from brown to red in much larger quantities. Im not testing til Thursday and although a negative would have been awful on Thursday, I have to say having it happen this way 6 days early is horrible. Im continuing with the progesterone but if im bleeding this early then clearly this new progesterone is not doing its job and although its easier
As an Applicator gel than the pessaries (its called crinone) I think the cyclogest was obviously stronger.

I realize God clearly has a different plan but right now im mad as hell with Him and we are not on good terms

I haven't forgotten about you wonderful ladies, just been sleep deprieved right now. I got my mom up at 3:20 this morning so she could make the first flight out, she was so afraid she would get stuck at the Panama City airport on Easter weekend.

Anyway dh has been wanting to talk more about our next steps, maybe I'm trying to fix everything as a control freak but need to realize we can only make it work if we figure it our together... He is going to apply for a history position with a private charter school, kids who are discliplined at home, parents who pay a fortune for education... Anyway I'm praying this works out for him because this is his gift and he shouldn't change his profession. Yes we could always move but he's not too confident this wouldn't happen again, he was burned pretty badly.

In the meantime, my boss has no idea about dh's situation, only because I don't want everyone to think she's promoting me b/c I really need the benefits, I want them to think I earned it. I did tell her I'm very interested in the Asst Manager opening, and instead of IVF right now want to look at adoption assistance. My employer offers assistance, needing to find out more on that...Then today dh tells me he still thinks we aren't quite there yet with adoption. Plus, he's not too excited about me going full-time, maybe he's feeling somewhat defeated and blames himself when he really shouldn't? Therefore he wants to find a way to enable us to continue on with the fertility treatment. He's like it's now or never honey but I tell him 6 months shouldn't make that much of a difference, I know the stress wouldn't be as much, we just have too much going on right now and I'm not comfortable applying for a loan that would cost an arm and leg on one salary right now, until we are more stable with his new job. Who knows???? maybe I'll listen to him and discover there are ways, all I know right now is we need to be more creative, most of all not let this get us down. My mom really cheered me up over the last few days, right now much too tired to even think a whole lot of everything that went down but I know this is temporally.

I'm continuing to pray for you ladies constantly, maybe we're not meant to understand why things happen in our personal journey, but reading your own personal story gives me hope and encouragement. I know this is only a temporally adjustment and we have to remain strong to get through this. x

Happy Easter, Happy Passover, Happy April

Patricia, I'm sorry about the bleeding.

Not much to say tonight except that if I don't stop itching, someone will need to have me committed. No new welts, thank goodness. Just dealing with the ones I have. I feel better today and was able to run back at my normal pace. I have no idea what has caused it.

Morning ladies

Looking like a full bleed. Spoke to the hospital who were lovely. Said bleeding from 8 days does happen but its very uncommon (how lovely to be special!!!!). Im to continue on the crinone progesterone and poas on wed and then phone them. They were so nice and so sorry. So I'll do that but unless this really is a miracle that one survives I think its all over for now

Off to mass to get irritated with God again

Patricia-oh sweetheart, I am so sorry you are going through this. This journey is Very often so difficult and heart wrenching. I wish there was something I could do or say to take this horrible pain away. It's perfectly ok to be angry and sad and even angry with God. Please don't loose faith that you will have your miracle baby. It will happen. I am still praying that the bleeding is just from the Progedterone and possible cervical irritation due to the suppositories. I know in times like this it's almost impossible to think there could be any other explanation. I will continue to pray for you. Sending you a great big long distance hug.

Ninde,
I'm so sorry you are going through this craziness. As for the bleeding, normally a menstraul cycle doesn't begin until after you stop taking progesterone, the hormones in progesterone suppress the menstraul cycle, a bleed from happening so I'm very confused in why your bleeding so early? I'll certainly keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, I know mass will help you cope with everything, our faith can move mountains! x

Leorira - I think he said its our choice if we wanted to start right away or wait a cycle.. Once we see him face to face this week we will go from there!

Fbrogers- Thank you for the info. Yes my doctor thinks a more natural process less med's will benefit me & should finally get us the BFP! Fingers crossed!!!

Ninde- that's exactly when mine started 8dpt5dt! Both my other two cycles they were only 3days but even with those I didn't start until way after my BFN's... Just upsetted me because it was like everything was perfect on track & it ends before the finish line. I didn't even make it the full 10day wait! & what also puzzles me I had a beta of 6.5 so was I pregnant & lost it on that day 8? Because there is a number.. Things that are on my mind & I need some answers..

Afm- bleeding like my insides are coming out (TMI) but really this is BAD!!!

Wishing everyone a fun filled holiday!! Now to go put on a smile & see my mom & sister & aunt after yet another failed cycle!! Ughhhh!!
Good Luck to ALL!
