Ninde- I am still praying for your miracle... I know how devasting it can be when things dont happen, this road is so hard...You have been a rock to alot of us here, and we are always here for you too.. I would still go to beta you never know... And that beta will also show if it was chemical or not I believe not that it will make it any easier but just so you know for sure what happened this cycle... lean on God either way, he truely can comfort you in a good or bad situation... Sending you a hug

Thanks kynlee. How will the beta tell if it was chemical or not - is it by the numbers?

Patricia, if you have any beta over 5 then they will be able to say that it was growing and stopped.

crashing

Ninde I am so sorry about the bleeding but I agree with the girls I would still go for beta or at least poas. Remember with this pregnancy for me I thought I was having a period and went in for a baseline and that is how I found out I was pg. I don't want to give you false hope but my bleeding was so heavy and steady and for 3 days straight so I assumed it was a period...big surprise it was implantation and a few more days later it just stopped...Anyways good luck and sorry for all this stress. Hugs

blue as I said on the other board I am so so so sorry .....I am heartbroken for you

Sunshine I am still here, always reading and saying a silent prayer for you dear. I can't wait till you can finally cycle and get your bfp.

Leora yay for 12 weeks!! 1 trimester down.. you re 1/3 of the way there

Maria your girls are absolutely beautiful

AFM starting to get more and more tired now ...just praying I would avoid bed-rest as long as possible

Nicole~ I am so sorry your beta dropped. It was so encouraging when it took such a big jump. I want you to know that I'm thinking of you and my heart is heavy. Sending a big hug your way. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh.

Ninde~ Thank you for your words. There have been many times when I have been the one with sad news only to try to stay positive for others. It is not easy and I am grateful for your support.

AFM~ moderate OHSS. My left ovary is the size of an apple and my right ovary is so big that it has left my pelvic cavity and is squished up into my abdominal space. I have pockets of free fluid and I have shortness of breath when I walk up the stairs. I'm hoping that I'm starting to turn the corner because it seems like I'm finally making a little more urine. I have to go back for another ultrasound on Wed. They also moved my beta up to wed as well.

The IVF journey is not easy. Thinking of everyone tonight.

Jayne: I wish you nothing but the best. I thought I would be angry, that I wouldn't be able to hear other people's good news and that as one of the few who didn't get pregnant in the last 5 months on this forum that I would just be resentful but surprisingly I'm not. I'm just terribly sad. I really hope your ohss goes away fast and its good that the urine has started to flow a little better.

Nicole: I'm thinking about you so much. Ive said before that you inspire me with all you do and how you stay focused and its just so damn unfair.

Afm: Beta results are in and apologies if I ever gave the impression I wasn't going - I'm an information junkie - believe me I was always going to go! The nurse was lovely this morning and I didnt' cry til she did! Result was less than 2 so there was absolutely no pregnancy whatsoever. I have the wtf meeting next Thurs. Last time she went on and on about the shape of the embryos and how the quality wasn't good and that when you have a miscarriage and then have a bfn then the stats show you continue to generally have bfns. So I'm not exactly hopeful for this meeting. However, I had beautiful little embies this time so she can't say its a quality issue. Does anyone know what sort of tests I could ask for around implantation at this point - because I certainly seem to have a problem actually having anything stick (other than the first time)? Any advice would be gratefully received.

Nicole – I am so sorry the beta dropped. I hope you can do your FET soon. Sending you a big hug.

Ninde – I had 2 IUIs, 2 IVFs, 1 FET, all negative. I am with a different clinic now (had one IVF with them) and I asked the doctor the same question. I wanted to know why there was no implantation. We make good embryos but they wont implant. So the doctor asked for a karyotype blood test and also a counsyl test (saliva test for genetic diseases) for both my husband and I. We’ll meet with the doctor on 9/11 to check the results and see what else needs to be done. I have also heard immune testing is helpful. I am not sure I had immune testing done, but I will ask the doctor. Have you ever used Heparin or baby aspirin with your cycles? I heard it helps with implantation.

Jayne – Sorry about your OHSS, I had it too and I know how bad it is, but you will get better. I know it sucks but at least it can also mean you are pregnant, yay!

Annashope – Hope you feel better!

UGH Just posted and it didnt stick :(

Ninde- So so sorry, i know how hard this Journey is, and the feeling of getting the devasting news.. I will keep you in my prayers and hoping for your Dream to come true real soon... Do you have any frosties? OR do you have to do a fresh cycle?

Jayne- Did your RE mention maybe draining some of the fluids? It would help with the pain... Rest as much as possible and drink lots of gatorade that is what I did... Thinking of you...

Kynlee~ My RE did mention they could drain the fluid but he said it will most likely come back in 3-4 days. He says we can do that if I become too miserable but I'm really not that bad. My lack of sleep is probably the most frustrating part but as long as I remain pregnant, I am not complaining. I'm really looking forward to my beta tomorrow. I hope it's a good number.

Nicole~ thinking of you often. How is your DH? Have you put any thought into how quickly you want to transfer the frozen embryo?

NInde~ I understand your feelings about other people sharing good news. I was never mad or angry at the person (in fact I was happy for them) but it just made me more sad for myself. It would make me wonder when it would be my turn. And I really don't understand the depth of sadness of others because I am extremly blessed to have a beautiful 4 year old son. I often felt bad for complaining at all because there are so many that are never able to experience parenthood. I hope that I never sound like I take my son for granted because I do not. I just want you to know that I am thinking of you and I always appreciate your words and thoughts. As far as questions for your RE... you could ask about the HCG injection into the uterus before transfer. I have no idea what the magic solution was for us this time but at least it seems like the embryos implanted quickly since I had a +hpt 4dp5dt.

Jayne- Good Luck tomorrow with you Beta :) I used a 2 pillows to keep my chest elevated at night when I had the OHSS, maybe that would help you too ;)
