Progesterone Shots: best way to take them?

Postby Lucilu » Wed May 15, 2013 3:46 pm

I have had my FET (frozen embryo transfer) and am pregnant (yay!), and am still taking all my meds. The Progesterone injection into my lower back hips are causing knots and occasionally some strange nerve sensations across my backside. I don't want to have permanent knots in my hips. Has anyone found a method that makes those go away? 3 years ago they told us to massage out the injected progesterone since its oil-based but this time they said that's not necessary. I'm wondering about icing it or using a heating pad or anything else?

I've been having some of the same issues with my progesterone injection. We've just started icing before the injection but haven't used the heating pad. Waiting to take my Beta on the 22nd and this 2ww waiting is driving me bonkers. :?
