Like most of you, I am new to IVF. My husband and I had to go yesterday for the IVF class, and they taught us how to give shots to oranges. We start the shots tomorrow (Saturday), and I am scared out of my mind. I really want to go through with this, but I am so nervous I don't know if I can handle it. Any advice?

I can't believe that I was so nervous. It was a breeze. I have to take two shots a day and other than a bit of soreness, I can't even tell that anything is different.

Great news!! I was just like you....scared of the needles. No matter how many times I heard "it doesn't hurt" It didn't help until I experienced it myself!! Good luck to you!!

Thanks. This is my fourth day with the shots and my hiney is a bit bruised.

I go for my first vaginal ultrasound in the morning so hopefully all of this pain will be worth it!
