Testing April 13

Postby AMD » Sun Apr 09, 2006 2:26 am

I had my ET on 4/4 and I am very anxious for test results on 4/13. I want to take HPT, but I am certain results will be negative. Any advice?

My advice is to hold out. I just feel that unnecessary anxiety comes with pretesting (postivie and negative results). But who am I to talk... I am not there yet. I will be tranferring around a week from today, so I don't know what I will be thinking. But I plan on not testing. Or trying not to.
Good luck.

So worried

Postby AMD » Sun Apr 09, 2006 3:52 pm

Well, today I just have that feeling that I am going to get a BFN on Thursday. Shed a few tears a church this morning. I know I shouldn't worry because that won't help anything, but it is hard not to let this whole situation take over. Anybody else feeling the same?

Hi, I know we are not supposed to test, but I think if you are feeling really down and are prepared for a negative, maybe it's ok... I had heavy AF cramping on Saturday night and started getting panicky, so decided to test on Sunday morning (my test date is 12th April). I was astounded to get a BFP! Now just hoping that it will be confirmed by the blood test... Mind you, if it had been negative I would have told myself that it was too early!!
Good luck with whatever you decide and try to hang in there.

AMD - I am also testing on 4/13 and had my transfer on 4/4. I had AF cramping for 3 days, then no cramping for 2, now today I have slight AF cramping on and off. It is very weird - that is for sure. Of course we are all extra sensitive b/c of what we are going thru and that doesn't help.

I started crying Thursday night for no reason - I was hysterical. My hubby didn't know what to do with me - I was just absolutely positive this wasn't going to work and my period was right around the corner. That mood carried into Friday.

On Saturday - I woke up after 10 hrs of sleep, cramping was gone, and my boobs were very sore. I was sure I was pregnant. Same symptoms Sunday.

Today - my boobs aren't sore at all, and the cramping is slight. I feel like it could go either way.

Moral of my story - there is no way to tell. Not until test day. It sucks, I know. I am with you! It is hard not to think negative - but try as best you can to be positive. I believe a good attitude really does help. We are all on so many damn hormones that our moods and symptoms are all over the place. That is why we need each other :)

In case you haven't done it already - you should add your name to the April test dates thread on the General Forum. That way we can all cheer you on!

Good luck!
