Hi all!

Jen - I am SOOOO sorry about your miscarriage. Please keep us up to date as you go through your next cycle.

Vicky - I just want to say that I am glad you are hanging in there. Are you still on bed rest.

ALL BFP's - Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK...update on me....I ended up miscarrying a twin. We found out the sad news today. DH and I are very sad but trying to stay positive for Baby A. I am now 8W1D. The heartbeat was at 164....maybe it's a girl!!! Anyway, we are doing OK...just trying to grasp the news so we can move on. I am no longer bleeding so they took me off bed rest. I was actually excited to get to go to work today to get out of the house. Plus, it kept my mind off the miscarriage.

Anyway....good luck to all.

I will keep posting with updates!!!!

I started spotting again! Ugh!! They just did a scan yesterday and everything was fine. I wonder if I should even be worried?

Hi everyone,

Can I join you? I got my long waited BFP last Tuesday. Am over the moon but really scared and just wishing the weeks away until I get my first scan on 13th December. I'm really crampy today and was last night too, no bleeding, should I be worried? Also sleepy, queasy, etc but don't mind that after such a long wait!

I've worked out my due date to be 28th July, so exciting.

I posted for my last ivf but this time I didn't as I didn't want to be too obsessed. Would like some buddies for this exciting journey though. :D

Shantell.....I am glad you are back, I was worried about you. I am sorry you lost one of the twins, but the good thing is baby A is doing great!!!!!. Regarding the spotting, I know, it is nervewrecking. Every time I spot I go nuts and I want an u/s STAT, but everytime also everything is ok. What my RE told me is that once you bleed, you have old blood there still remaining in your uterus, so when you are in bed rest nothing comes out, but once you move, bam!, the old blood comes down and you see brown spotting (is your spotting brown?). So, from this I am trying to say that everything should be ok. Keep us posted!!

Hi!

Julie - yes, cramping is VERY normal. I have had it since the ET. Congratulations and good luck to you!

Vicky - yes, the blood is brown. The RE also said it could be from the ultrasound yesterday.

I don't know...this is just very frustrating and wearing on me!

Yes I know, how I wish I could relax and stop thinking about every lil thing that happens!!. Just now I was talking to a friend that her sister is now pg naturally (only took her 4 months), and she was telling me how relaxed she was, that she was already buying all the baby clothes and even the high chair!!!!!!, and she is as far along as me (9weeks). I guess it all depends on each person's history and how much it took us to get to this point. In a way we know how preciated and how difficult it was for us, so now we want to take care of it like a crystal glass. But sometimes I wish I could forget my situation and just relax and enjoy like all the rest of the world that becomes pg....................

I remember with my first child (natural) I never worried about losing the pregnancy or think about the bad things that could happen. I didn't hesitate to go out and buy baby things, especially after the ultrasound when we found out it was a boy. Its wierd how different I feel this time. I almost feel like I keep telling myself in the back of my mind not to expect this to be successful, just in case. I won't buy big baby items. I bought a couple of little things to try to help me relax and feel more excited. It seemed to help. I think its just so much more precious knowing the lengths we had to go to to get where we are now. The funny thing is, I thought that the moment I found out I was pregnant I would relax and be totally excited. Its still much harder to be excited than I thought. It seems like there's always one more hurdle....after the first beta theres the second beta, after the second beta there's the US.....and so on.....I think the best thing would be to try to enjoy every moment of being pregnant for what it is. We're all going to have little ones to comfort in the night, to feel proud of walking thru the store while everyone coos over our newborns, to watch grow and learn to smile, to hear for the first time "I love you Mommy".......the list goes on.

Hi everyone!

Julie and Nicali- Congratulations and welcome!

Shantell- I am so sorry to hear about baby b but the important thing is you have baby a. Just take it easy and do what the dr says.

Jayne- Congratulations on the twins. I'm having twins as well. It's very exciting and scary.

Update on me...I went to my new OB yesterday. It's a busy practice but everyone seemed nice. I gotta get some bloodwork done before my next appt dec 20th. They also told me being pregnant with twins I have to be bed rested at 26 weeks. That puts me at the end of March! It seems too soon. I'm freaking out about that b/c it'll be one less pay check for us but gotta do what's best for the babies. I feel like I gotta get everything done before then...like the baby shower, setting up the nursery etc...
Also I've been very congested lately and getting headaches. First I thought it was my sinus' and now it's like a cold. My dr said I could take tylenol for the headaches and sudafed for the congestion. The sudafed has really helped. But besides feeling that way and extremely tired I'm ok. My stomach has been getting queasy but not ms. Everyone says after the 1st trimester you feel better ...I hope they're right!

Hope everyone else is doing ok.

Hi Kimberli! I am glad everything is going good with the twins. I go to my OB/GYN next week (Monday) but my RE has not released me and he probably won't until 12 weeks since I have had so many problems. My OB was supposed to see me in 2 weeks but since I miscarried a twin and I have been bleeding she wants to check me out and get my paper work started so she can monitor me.

Kimberli, keep us updated with everything!!!!

Hi Ladies,

Julie, welcome and congratulations.

Shantell, so sorry about baby b, but souns like baby A is doing great, hang in there and try to relax.

Kimberli, thanks i will be following how you get on closely as you are a few weeks ahead of me. bed rest at 26 weeks i hope not!! DH and i run our own business and there is no way i can be off that long. its strange how some OB's insist on bed rest and some just allow you to carry on until you have problems.

Vicky, good luck with the scan hope you can come off bed rest and start to enjoy your pregnancy.

angie, how you doing, hope all is well.

Hi to everyone else.

As for me, doing ok, no more spotting since the ultrasound, which showed up a clot about twice the size of the babies, but still very small, which is where they think i am bleeding from, they are not worried. I've just to take everything slower and rest more. Feel ok at the moment, have hardly any MS, but this week i am starving, about an hour after eating i am hungry again, DH is just laughing at me. Oh and also very tired. Luckily for me i am able to do less hours at work so am just doing 6 hours a day at the moment.Hope i feel more energised in the new year when i hit 12 weeks.
talk again soon.
