ANYONE TRANSFERRED IN JAN 2009 WITH POSITIVE HCG

hi everyone,

my name is Maria. my transfer was Jan 15th, 2009. I went for my first beta yesterday and it was 1,015. When i asked why so high They said i am very pregnant ,when the normal is 50. has anyone had such a high hcg 10 dpt? does that mean twins? I go back again on friday for my 2nd beta.

i would say twins mine 10 days as 465 and it was considered high and i had a singleton

amore How many did you transfer??? It does sound like multiples to me as well, take a look at the betas in my sig - they were also very high and it turns out i am having triplets.... We put back 4 this time as my first ivf we put back 3 and none made it, so my RE decided to be more aggressive and put back 4. With my beta of 2000+ it was so high as all 4 had taken, and there were 4 sacs at my scan, but only 3 heartbeats.

Now my beta was 17 days past ovulation and yours was 10 days past transfer, so did you do a 3 day or 5 day, as this will make a difference, but either way your numbers are sky high. One lady i know had her first beta in the thousands and she ended up having twins, but seems high for a singleton.

Irionic - my transfer was Jan 14th. I had my first beta on the 23rd - it was 68. The second was the 26th and it was 500. Doesn't sound like yours is exceedingly high. when's the next one? it's supposed to double every 48 hrs.

I did a FET with 2 blasts donated embies from 24y.o proven egg donor,14 days later beta was 189!

Not sure if its one or more babies,my nurse doesnt need another beta but an u/s on Feb` 23rd.
