Hello Loonpants!!!

Great to hear from you.

My twins are due mid-November. However, women on my antenatal group have already dropped, so it could be anytime now! I still can't really believe that it's happening, and that I've got this far.

How's things with you?

S
xx

Hi Sarah and Sandra

Well not long to go now then Sarah, I will be thinking of you.

Sandra I was so pleased to see that you had made it to the other side (not said in a Darth Vadar voice honest).

I am now back in sunny UK and undecided what to do with regards to starting treatment again. It has been very up in the air these last nine months. I am still soldiering on and trying to get work with pre-school kids, hitting alot of brick walls because I haven't got kids of my own and wondering how honest I want to be when I get those looks of 'why not at your age'.

Still I am so chuffed to hear about all you guys on this side especially the ones that have been here nearly as long as me.

Let me know when you are going to have a chat in the chat room it will be easier now I am on the same time.

Wishing all the best, keep your feet up.

Lisa(Loonpants)
xxx

Hiya Lisa - remember me - Wendy B from France, I got here eventually and am currently 15wks, due march 11th which seems forever, but I'm starting to develop a nice bump but I'll be glad when its so big that I don't just think I'm eating too much. Still doesn't feel real even when my mum gave me a hand knitted baby cardigan, hat and booties to start a baby draw to celebrate getting to my 3mth scan. I think after such a long time of trying, its hard to really believe its true. Thank you for checking up on us. I think it was this side of the site that gave me the incentive to carry on, knowing it could work for some, so why not me and thankfully it payed off. Keep in touch. Loads of Love Wendy xxxx

Loonpants

You are so good keeping in touch over here. I am not really sure if people want to hear from us Bumps over on the other side so I have stopped posting there really. So it is great to be able to 'chat' to you over here.

Welcome back to the UK. Apologies for the weather! I hope you manage to get up and running soon with a clinic so that you can get cracking again with the IVF - we are keeping a place warm for you over here.

My due date is 6 Dec but I am booked in for a c-section on 27 Nov (10 wks tomorrow!). We know that we are having a boy so we are really thinking of him as a little person now. It has taken a while to really accept that this is happening.

So far things are going well. Feeling knackered but other than that I'm well. I'm working hard though - looking forward to finishing on 18 Oct (oh happy day!!). My ankles are crying out for me to finish (they're pretty big ... not that 'pretty' is a word that should really be used when referring to my ankles these days. Can't wait to see my bones again!).

Anyway, that's a quick update from me. Please keep in touch over here (and that goes for any other old friends on the main board). It's lovely to hear from you but sometimes feels awkward to go over there.

Take care.
Love
Dee xxx.

Hi Wendy, Dee & Chris

Good to hear that you are all well. I have had a job getting in touch with JD, we chatted quite a bit while I was in Cyprus and I have emailed her and no reply as yet. The last I heard she was having really bad sickness, just hope she's okay. I'll write to her then at least I know she'll get the letter.

If I'm honest I feel more at home over here with you lot. Apart from Tee (who always makes me laugh) I don't recognise anyone and even when I post I feel frozen out as no-one really bothers like we all used to.

I am looking forward to having a chat with some of you so let me know when is best time.

Dee have you decided on a name for the little one?

I have finally got a job (or should that be two) I will be working with a special needs kiddy two days and at a nursery one day. I know it sounds mad when you can't have kiddies to want to work with them but I suppose that's just the kind of person I am and I'm sure I have a lot to offer. And for once not having kids of my own didn't go against me.

Me and hubby have decided that we will probably not go through ICSI again. I know we may be lucky next time and it seems like we're giving up before we have really got started but sometimes our relationship just feels much more important. I am so pleased that you are all over here and luckily I am not one of these psycho's that hates all women who have kids. I think it is a wonderful thing to happen and I still want to know all about you all as I feel that we have been through alot together.

Sorry if I've waffled but I feel very secluded at times and only you guys understand what I am trying to say as you have all been there and do not judge.

Love as always

Lisa(Loonpants)

Lisa

I have mailed JD a gew times but haven't heard from her for a while - probably a couple of mths. So I hope everything is well with her. We are pretty much due at the same time so I would be keen to know how she is.

I know what you mean about feeling like a bit of a stranger on the board now. It's good that you feel comfortable to come over here.

I hope you enjoy your new jobs. It's good to get back to some sort of normality.

Take care and please keep in touch!!
Love
Dee xxx.

Hiya Loonpants, you are always welcome here and we are with you both all the way in whatever you decide. It can be easy to forget your relationship with everything that we do, I remember feeling quite relieved in between treatments when we knew there was nothing we could do other than enjoy ourselves (and sex)! congratulations with your new jobs. love to you both, wendy xxx
