Helene – Please don’t let the stress of your mom & sister bother you. I’m sure everything will work out just fine.

I am so glad that you have your house exactly the way that you want it! You should be so very proud of how everything turned out!

Claudia – 15 weeks yeah!!! I love the baby bump picture!

Katie – I am right there with you about the humidity … it finally cooled down here also and I am so very happy! Good luck with the deck but take your own advice and go slow. I just can’t be around any paint or anything similar because it makes me so very nauseous!

Stephanie – I am so glad that you are feeling better! The idea of a baby shower sounds wonderful. That is so very considerate of her to throw one for you!

Karen – I hope that you and the babies are doing well! I am hoping the fact that we haven’t heard from you is very good news and that you are at home resting!

Gi, Babyluv, Hope, Natasha, Sara, Hazel, & Dodo – I hope that you ladies are doing well!

AFM – I officially graduated from my RE this morning! It was so sad … I really don’t want to leave because I depend on the nurses and doctor so much! I felt like I was going to have separation anxiety … lol! I think it is just because everything went so well with Ashley until after we were released to an idiot OB who doesn’t know what he is doing!

But, the baby is doing well! He/she was moving around and kicking w/ a great heartbeat during the u/s! Now is the scary time … starting tonight, I have to try to start to wean off of the Xanax. I am so nervous that I am going to start spotting again! I am praying like crazy that I can get off of it without the cramping and spotting! Oh, I forgot to tell you guys, when they weighed me the nurse says you lost a pound since your last appointment and my DH looked at me and said oh we can’t have that … lol. He is always trying to feed me since I’ve been pregnant … lol!

Angela- So happy you are doing well. I had my cerclage put on yesterday. It went well with no issues. Thank goodness. I could tell my doc was pleased. I'm not that sore today...yesterday was very sore. I am on bedrest and just passing time. I can get up to do things that don't take me long and aren't strenuous...like shower, eat, pee, etc. My mom is coming tommorrow too. I'm so glad. She can help me!

babyluv wrote: AFM - Had a great u/s this morning. Baby A was moving all over the place, legs crossed, umbilical cord between the legs, so there was no finding out there. I still think it's a boy, and swore I saw something, but I guess it could have been the cord. Baby also had it's hand between it's legs, so I'm REALLY thinking boy now  Baby B was super cooperative and it looks like we'll be having at least one little GIRL! And I totally thought B was a girl! So now to just see if I was right about A...

The best news of the day is they both look great, are growing about as perfectly as they could (both slightly ahead and almost exactly the same size), and the SCH is about 1/4 of it's original size. I was hoping it would be gone, but since I've still had some spotting (when I wipe first thing in the morning and then usually nothing the rest of the day), I knew it would still be there. My OB is very happy with everything.

I am going back next week for some blood work, and they are making me an appt with a high risk doctor. I think that will be in three weeks. I go back in 4 to my regular OB for a checkup, but I am thinking all of my u/s from now on will be with my high risk specialist.
That is great. So you probably have a girl and maybe a boy that would be perfect... hope that's what it is for you but very happy that they are doing fantastic. How reassuring specially lately. Thanks for sharing the good news.

Helene - its important that DH's take his meds everyday if he's bi polar - its a chemical imbalance that needs to be regulated.
Must be nice to have a getaway from it all place to go to! Wish i had one

Steph - Yippeee for having 2 little soccer players in there! I sure hope that they dont decide to take up kickboxing each other and you! ha ha
How sweet that a neighbor will be throwing you a baby shower! Hope you get lots of stuff on your list! Aww, poor Andrew cant keep up with the twins' kicks to feel them? it must be like trying to play the whack -a- mole game - ha ha yes,my nose is normal this week - I guess nose & sinus issues were traded in for swelling ankles instead- great. BTW - yes I do think you should be seen sooner than every 6 wks - i go every 4 wks. maybe you dont dont set off any red flags
Thank God, but I'm sure the further along you get the more often they'll want to see you.

Babyluv - Congrats on your liilte girl! And my bet on the other is a boy - since his hands are between his legs and that was kinda stubborn to hide the goods during the u/s! Glad you'll be seeing a HR OB while expecting twins.

Karen - So glad to hear that your cerclage went well. Just listen to your HR OB and and deal with the bed rest - I know how hard that must be. And yay for your Mom coming to help you out!

Angela - Congrats on being released! I know what you mean, if I could have just stayed with my RE I would have loved to. At the last appt I thanked him so much that I ended up in tears and then he teared up too. I hope that your Xanax weaning goes slwly and without a problem. As for the weight? its time to get snacking mama - ha ha

AFM - I've got to take Gracie to the vet tomorrow, she's acting like she has a UTI, but when I called the vet said to drop her off so he can do a u/s on her to rule out bladder stones since she's too young to have kidney stones. UGH - here I thought he's just give her meds like last time. The fun part is she LOVES the vet so she will pull and yank me to hurry up and get inside! Doesnt that sound fun? trying to protect my belly from getting pulled by a 130 lb puppy? At 7 AM? -- great.

angela - not sure if my mom will come around she sounds pretty down??

I know how sad and stressful it will be now that you can use your RE anymore... lets hope you can find peace with your new OB. How was it today? Why do you have to wean from the Xanax again? is it armful to baby? I hope it works well now dear hang in there. Glad dh is trying to feed you. I have been eating like a pig for the last 2 weeks and I hate that I can't control that better :)

katie - actually my DSS is not yet diagnosed with bi-polar but was on that kind of medecin since he is 4 years old but he is doing so great now. And besides he is NOT my responsibility he would NOT listen to me anyways he is my dh's son and they are the ones who have to deal with that... so far so good :)

Good luck with your dear Gracie today glad she likes the vet :)

hey ladies,
i found out friday will be my first u/s so definitely something to look forward to. my beta was 2219 yesterday so that was a big increase which is wonderful news. yes I think it would be nerve recking to depend on a HPT. I was just thinking that doing three betas was too much at first. I sometimes think that this clinic is trying to rip us off at times like they are only about money and since my insurance is paying alot of it they have been really weird and not giving us the discounts they told us about at first. so now we're getting the bills and its way higher than they ever say up front what it would cost. now it looks like they are charging us double and they claim its becuase i have insurance thats covers the procedure but hmm we'll see how it turns out in the end. they said it was $6000 as they claimed before we started when we asked how much it all would cost. now im getting my explaination of benefits from the insurance from their claims they are sending and it was at $14000. so i think they are full of crap. thats only from the first cycle i failed, which i believe they set me up for failure. then we paid $2500 for a FET and now im pregnant out of it. I sure hope we dont ever have to go back. However, yesterday they told me im 5 weeks and 4 days and if i go the full 40 weeks which they said most dont but mym due date would be february 4th 2011. so its great to know more info as we go along. im excited to know how many attached since we transferred three embies and im young as they claim has a higher percentage. they didnt want to even put three the first time they only let us do two because the RE said it wasnt ethical to do three but the second time he didnt say a peep and transferred all three i had left so we'll see im so anxious. have a nice week ladies!!

natasha - that is such lies from your clinic why would they want more money because your insurance covers some? Like if it's $6000 it's not $14,000. And I understand the failing protocole it's just like my clinic they messed up my donor and decided to change her protocole when her other donations were fantastic and all pg. So she only gave us 8 eggs and they didn't even fertilize so they were not mature... imagine... I was so pissed.

But you are pg and that's all that matters right! You didn't have to do 5 IVF and you now are going to have your baby so I guess in the end $14,000 is cheeper then adoption or 5 IVFs :) Good for you.

Hope everything works well. So you don't know how many you got yet right?

Natasha - That sucks that the billing is coming back all screwed up! I had to pay for my fresh cycles up front but I still got billed, but I had a reciept saying I paid in full so they got rid of those. Then with the FET they credited me a lot so I got lucky, however I still got bills regardless of the credits. So I just waited for them to all come through and I am still waiting on a final bill for it. I just have to file all the bills and keep track because I think the bills automatically go out regardless if you paid or not. It just isn't a smooth running system. Not sure why you are being charged more, that doesn't sound right. Though your bill for FET is a good price. As far as your last transfer, you likely had only two because it was a fresh cycle right? Fresh embies are suppose to be stronger so ethically, for a healthy young woman, no they can't put more then two. With a FET, no more then 3 frosties. Frozen embies are not as likely as fresh to attach so they will allow that one extra. This is what happened to me, first time was 1 embie, 2nd was 2 and 3rd was 3. lol Third was a FET and got twins so it turned out well. :) Your beta is a great number! Can't wait to know if there is one or more in there!

Katie - These little soccer players decided to calm down. lol I wish I would feel more kicks on my left side where little girl is. I am always worrying and have had a lot of stress lately thanks to the Army so I am debating going to the ER just for peace of mind since my clinic doesn't want to see me. I am one of those mom's who rather wait 8 hours in the waiting room just to know my babies are ok. lol Glad your nose is better but darn those ankles! So how is Gracie? Hope it's just a UTI and not stones!

Gi - Thanks, I am feeling a little better but worried as usual spite me trying to think happy thoughts. lol How are you doing?

Angela - YAY for leaving your RE though I know how attached we can get. I wish my RE could be my OB. lol Glad you got to see your little miracle moving around with everything looking great. How did weaning go?? I hope there were no issues like last time.

Babyluv - In my opinion and experience, if you have to ask yourself... Was it? It likely was. lol That's just me though because if you are having those "was it" moments at least once a day, you are likely feeling a baby. :) So cute how baby B is hiding his/her area trying to be all secretive. lol Watch, probably is a boy! Glad your SCH is almost gone. That is great news and obviously the babies are oblivious and growing great regardless. Why does such a thing have to exist anyway! Just glad it's almost done with! So just a few more weeks and hopefully we will know what baby B is hiding.

Ronda - I am thinking about you today! I really hope things go as smoothly as they can. I know the heartbreak is horrible and wish there were words to help. Just know we all care for you deeply and just want you to be ok!

AFM - Well... lots of stress! Since DD's birthday we have been dealing with 1SG (First Sergeant) in trying to get Admin days approved(free days off Andrew got for being deployed when he was for as long as he was). 1SG doesn't want to give him the days off and says he doesn't have them, yet he approved leave in January that said he had 20 of them left and it was signed by the commander. Now he has lost 5 of those days (they are use or lose days) and our plan to spend family time before any possible bed rest arrises is being ruined. It won't be long until I just won't be able to do much at all whether I am on bed rest or not at some point. After the babies are born, we need his regular leave so he can spend more time home with us to help. Basically it comes down to the 1SG just wanting to be right and he was proven wrong by Brigade but he is the one that has to pass the paperwork. Well, I called and cause a fuss because this f*(#&$ lied to my face. I will go all the way through the chain of command just to prove him wrong and crush his little power trip! I know by the time I am done fighting Andrew's days will likely be gone, but I can't let this guy bully us, I just can't! Sorry, I know this Army crap might be hard for some to understand but I too need to vent! I have been under so much stress because this is ruining our plans and I am so worried about the "what if's" in the future. I was so upset yesterday, I started to hyperventilate. The crappy thing about being upset while pregnant is once I start crying I can't stop. lol Even when I was fine and calm, tears just kept coming. Anyway... of course the stress and all has me worried about babies. Since my clinic doesn't want to see me I am thinking about just going to the ER. I just need some good news, it would make me feel so much better.

Oh Steph - you don't have to worry about the babies a little stress or even a lot will NOT arm them and I know it. You know how much stress I am all the time and it's not just this pregnancy and so all my kids were ok when they were at the stage you are at... but you go and fight ... I would do the same thing. So sorry they are giving you such a hard time and man want to be so powerful and too bad they can cause you so much grief.

I am glad I am not the only one venting though :) it's nice to see others having life troubles :)
