12 week scan

Everything fine - first appointment so took 4 hours! Said I'm 13 weeks + 1 day. Baby was waving at us and it was wonderful. Most of the picture was of my huge bladder cos I took them a bit too literally when they said drink lots of water!!

God willing, EDD will be 17th March. My husband says he still feels a bit numb about it all - I agree that even though we've seen it, it's still hard to believe its real!!

Lots of Love to you all - Jo. XXXXX

Thank you so much everyone. I know we have to feel the joy of seeing our little ones moving and well, but we wouldnt be human if we weren't at the same time thinking of those who have lost their babies at whatever stage, especially Tracey this week. Yesterday was a weird one as I thought of what she was going through compared to what I was seeing in front of me. Mixture of emotions - I know we all feel the same.

Tracey would be the first one to say that we should not let this marr our own feelings of happiness and I know what she means. Hard though.

Lots of Love - Jo. XXXX

Sally - feel fine, still a bit tired and back playing up a bit (due to all joints relaxing they tell me) Still have the nausea although longer periods without it now so hopefully it's on its way!! Take care - love Jo.XX

[Edited by Jo Locker on 11-Sep-03 03:56]

Dear Tracey, have tried to email you but for some reason it just wont go through. Anyway, I'm sure you, being you, are being very gutsy about things and its probably the best route. What can I say except that to have your worst fear come true is just horrific. I can't understand why we're tested like this - I know no-one can go through life if they're lucky enough to have love for others, without any pain or loss but gosh, this is laying it on a bit thick.

You will get your time I'm sure of it but the hurt and the waiting for things to come right must be agonising.

You just let us know what you want to say about things whenever you want to say them.

With lots of love - Jo.
