Hi

So sweet of you to remember!

All went really well today. I was really nervous to start with but she did all the measurements and said Herbie was coming along really well - a real wriggler. The minute we asked to know the sex, he crossed his legs! Eventually he obliged and we were told we are having a boy! Absolutely over the moon - would have been with either but just too impatient to wait another 20 weeks!

Felt fab until got into work, and one of the girls, who kept telling me not to find out, overhead me tell someone else that it was a boy, and she got all arsey with me and told me I wasn't very strong, so I said "why because I didn't do want you wanted, and did what Rob and I wanted" and she basically said yes and got quite a nasty tone with me. It really p'd me off, that someone I hardly know, but who knows I went through something as stressful as IVF, can tell me Im not strong. Actually, i am strong, because I did what was right for me and not her. Why do people think its up to them to tell you what to do for God's sake. She's completely ruined what started out to be a fantastic day.

Apart from that, all's great!

Love

Rachel
x

Hi Rachel

This is fab news! Congratulation on a boy!

Tell the interfering old trout to keep her nose out of things. What the chuff (northern terminology!) has it got to do with her anyway. Don't let her spoil your very very special day.

Love nikola.xx
