Just quickie to say after 11.5 weeks the post mortem is back and my thoughts on our baby were confirmed - a baby boy - I was gutted but pleased - all very weird - have really wanted a boy (though would have been pleased with a girl)
We have called him OLIVER so we can now try and move on. We have to make an appointment to see the specialist for the results but I am gathering (hope I am right) that it is not genetic (phew) so was one of those things or something very wrong with him that is unlikely to happen again. Let's hope I deduced right (the specialist said I would have nothing to worry about)
We can now arrange funeral etc before xmas but as you can imagine has opened up wounds again.
Love to all
Tracey
xxx

Oliver is a lovely name (but then I'm biased as my dad was called Oliver!). Hope you get your appointment with the specialist soon so that you can find out reasons and have another go. beckym xxx

Dear Tracey and hubby,

it must have been a terrible wait for you both - it really is appauling that they took so long. Hopefully the specialist will be able to put your mind at rest that it was just an unfortunate thing that happens (how unfair life is sometimes).

Hopefully once the funeral is over you can both start to move on. Whilst I cannot begin to imagine what you have been through these past months, my thoughts are with you both.

Hope everything works out okay in the end,

Love Alison xx

Dear Tracey,

I hope you're holding up okay. I'm pleased the wait for the PM results is finally over for you. I know the funeral for little Oliver will be painful for you both, but hopefully it will be a step forward in your journey, and also it will acknowledge and celebrate his life - although he wasn't with you for long he was so important.

I really hope your meeting with the specialist is reassuring, and that 2004 is a good and happy year for you. With love, Beck x

Dear Tracey,

I haven't been posting very much recently, but every time I do, I think of you. You must be so relieved that there was nothing genetic wrong with little Oliver, but at the same it must in a way make it more difficult to understand why he was taken from you so cruelly. Unbearable though it will be, I hope that you will be able to move forward after the funeral. Hope all goes well with your consultant appointment and I know that you'll have the baby you so richly deserve, although I know you'll never forget Oliver.

All love and hugs - if wishes could come true you'd have octuplets I'm sure with all the love and positive vibes on their way to you!!!!

Sally xxxxx
