Here's my picture from Friday's scan. HB looks great and we got to see him/her bouncing around and waving arms!
I'm a little teeny concerned that the baby is measuring behind (2 days behind at 7.5 weeks, 3 days behind at 8.5 weeks and now 4 days behind at 10 weeks) but everyone reassures me that it's fine.
Next is the NT scan on Sept 6th! OB appt on 27/8 to discuss cerclage more in depth...
I still can't believe this is happening. I can't possibly believe we will bring a baby home in February.

Yay, Leora! I so wouldn't worry about the 2 days. I'm so excited for you!!
Anna - I really hope you're feeling better and things have calmed down.
I was at my in-laws for the weekend. I don't think the babies like the stress. yeah, good times.

I was wondering if anyone that has gone to there 1st OB appt if you can give me any info on what to expect

Do they usually do a u/s or at least use a doppler so I can hear my bean? Would i get a pap even if I had one already in Jan? My Coverage only covers one a year... I know every OB is different but figured it was worth asking you girls

kynlee - I know all OB's are different.. mine doesn't do an u/s and does a pap if one hasn't been done in the last year. I don't think they can pick up the HB on the doppler till around 9/10 weeks.. least i think that is what happened with my last pregnancy. I didn't schedule my first OB appointment till 10 weeks because really there is no use of doing it earlier at my clinic.. yes they will check my vitals and possibly do a pelvic exam to see how big the uterus is but I think that is about it.. but like i said all OB's are different.. for my first pregnancy i said a little white lie that i was having some stabbing pains so that i could get an u/s.

Kyn- I had spotting so they did an ultrasound, but I don't think they do normally. You feeling a little more relaxed? That feeling never goes away. I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop, but we named them for that reason - I need it to be real.
Nicole - yesssssss. Congrats!!!

Lauren- Yes I am feeling so much more relaxed each day It gets better but will never be truely relaxed till I have the little one in my arms...
Nicole- Yah I am sure your betas will be great... When is your next beta?
Posted this on the other board to but wanted to post in both threads
I had my first OB appt yesterday went great Feel so much better now since I had the actually appt, didnt know what to expect... Since My OB is out for the month I had one of the other Dr's he was really nice went through everything with me I asked tons of questions and then I Had to Request a heartbeat check since he was going to wait till 12weeks, he new I wasnt going to give in to 12wks so he called the Nurse and they fit me in for a heartbeat check, which turned into a full u/s the nurse was so nice and said the Dr said heartbeat check but I wouldnt let you leave without you seeing your baby She gave me 5 new pics baby is measuring 2 days a head now and the nb was 173... I cried when I seen the baby moving around we woke the bean up and he/she got excited I saw the little arms and eyesockets jaw belly etc, it was a great moment I cant wait for 2 weeks to come so much changes as weeks past I also went for my 190 speeding ticket, the cop was asking a million questions I told him this is my 1st speeding ticket and I am 36 he said do I think I am better and I said no but I would think with a good drivers record I would be able to get it wiped off he then asked why I was speeding so I explained I missed IVF meds that I was suppose to take 2hrs prior and timing is everything so he dismissed me no fine Then I came home the mail came and I asked DH if there was anything good I been getting cards from friends and Family on the Baby he said no but I chose to look again and noticed we got a check for our refi on the house so I said We did get something good he said what I said Money to put aside for the babies room yesterday was a great day felt Lucky

So tell me about your symptoms
I am pretty crampy, a lot like AF but with twinges and sharp pains I only feel when I have a BFP. My tastes are already different and I get nauseated at night. I'm getting a lot of gas and bloating. And, TMI, I have a lot of fluid coming out of me!
Next beta is tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
