Hi all
We did it -

Survived our nightmare - the 20 week scan - though I am 21 weeks tomorrow! Thank you for all the suppport - it has helped enormously!
WEll - def 2 girls - loads of hormones in our house - even the dog is female! - yikes!!
They are both a few days ahead in size which is great - apart from the femurs which were a week ahead - ouch. One did appear to be doing a "swivel on it" with her finger which is most charming - can't quite think where she got it from - perhaps Nikola has been teaching them!!
All hearts etc fine. Infact the pictures were so good as I am small frame (even with this large bump measuring 27 weeks) and plenty of fluid that he took loads of pictures for training purposes and to blow up to put on the walls - especially their spines which he was most taken with for some reason and their pulminory arteries - very fine examples!!!
So it is now time to spend some more - mountain buggies etc here we come - poor DH - I have told him to stroke the credit cards!!!
Love to all
Tracey

Hi Tracey,
just wanted to say congratulations on your scan, I am so happy and pleased for you. On the subject of your daughter giving you "the finger" Daniel did a somersault and waggled his behind in our faces at my scan, it must be catching!!
Take care and have fun spending!!!
Love Julie xx

tracey, i am so, so happy for you. i know that all us girls going for scans are relieved when we see our growing baby(ies) but i'm sure that you were more anxious, nervous, scared than all us us together.
well, good girl. you're thru it and your daughters are doing well. fantastic.
now, i do feel a bit for your dh with the renewed spending spree you're planning (and an all female household). but just make sure he has a regular lie down so he's not too tired for work! only joking.
i really am so pleased for you both.

Great news Tracey, you can breathe a sigh of relief now. Our scan went well to and he did lots of measuring of different blobs and said all was fine and normal. Good news all round.

Fantastic news Tracey!
Your girls are already pin-ups for the opposite sex before they've even arrived!
It's always a great feeling when you have scans and babies are the right size or better for their age so that must really help on the worry front.
Take care of you and the girls.
Love Jules

Hi Tracey
Glad your scan went well and you can relax for a while now! I think if dh has got any sense he'll move next door when the girls are all there together!!
Am still having pc probs so can't post much but please send my love to Nikola.
Have finally got 12 week scan on Monday so am s******g myself to put it politely! Although judging by the size of my tummy and the hairs on it I'm assuming little one is still in there! I can't understand why all the books I've read say you don't show until about 4mths and I look like I've swallowed a small ball!
Anyway take care and have a good weekend.
Dawn

Hi all
Thank you all again for the kind messages - Nikola is texting me like mad from the hospital - you will all laugh at this........ Yesterday she sent me a text telling me all her favourite girls names her and DH came up with!!! I suggested she might be trying to bag them all - she is funny and finding it very frustrating not being able to contact you all and not being able to talk to me - she has to rely on sneaky text messages as she puts it!
We have chosen one name - you are all honoured - the parents haven't a clue yet!!! Emily Charlotte - that was relatively painless - the next one could prove hard - will let you know
Happy weekend all and Dawn don't worry about scans (I don't ???

) Nothing to them -seriously sounds like you are growing - just ignore the books on bump subjects - it is all so relative. Better than not having one!
Love
Tracey
