What a classic Chelle - i could of had a complex forming thinking i was incredibly boring!

Charlie with your hip and pubic bone pain have you thought it could be SPD? Not sure what the initials stand for but from the few girls in my yoga class who have it i gather the early symptoms are similar to yours. It can become incredibly painful and one girl is on crutches as she can't walk with the pain. I would speak ot your midwife.
I saw your photos - cute baby! Was the photo of you and richard at your wedding? YOu both looked so happy!

Great bump Julie. You look so serene. I am feeling far from serene at the moment and more like a beached whale with my huge puffy feet and ankles!

I am now going to catch this sunshine i have going at the moment as it won't be around much longer.

Hi all

Yes, Charlie - I've been having the same pains you have. It actually started at least a month ago. I've found that the pain is more intense if I sit for long periods of time. So when I'm at work I get up and walk around at least every hour. It feels like there is a huge weight being dropped on my pubic bone....same as you? Walking seems to help me

So far I have had absolutely no braxton hicks....my dr says that is normal and they mostly are felt after 36 weeks.

i have seen midwife and physiotherapist and as hav probs with hips will be going in for an xray and scan at 34 wks and if they think its neccersary i will be having c section prob 36/37 weeks
will hav to wait and see wot happens but still hoping to hav natural birth
listen girls hav put up a pic of my bump on photobucket hav finally got hubby to take some pics of it
would love to see all your bumps and faces would be great to put a face and bump to the names

you dont know how lucky you are havin no br hicks just yet as some of them can be quite painfull and can everynow and then make you think that the times come

Hi charlie, ive just seen your bump on photo bucket, you look gorgous, and not a streach mark in sight. i cant believe you are 31 weeks, i remember the day you got your bfp Im so happy for both of you. you and richard must be really exited now dying to see your baby. I love his room it looks great. you look really well, not long to go now and he will soon be here.

So you might have to have a c section. Dont worry things might change in the next few weeks and you will get the birth you want. I must admit im not looking forward to one either, my consultant and midwife have said i may need one with being small and expecting twins. Id be lying if i said i wasnt scared about the section, but im more worried about afterwards. Iwant to be able to look after my babies straight away. The good thing is they wont send me home untill im feeling better, and im sure i can take good care of them. It will probably be better, as childbirth with twins is going to be very hard, tiering, and very stressfull on me and the babies.

I hope everything will go to plan for you, and i hope you will still pop in and out to see us. Not long now charlie. Always reading to see how your doing.

Thanks Hayley, i dont look nearly as gorgous as you do , you yummy mummy, as like you i am worried about after the section ie pain discomfort and 6 weeks recovery time, but hay as long as our babies are happy and healthy, thats the main thing.
What nursery collection did you get from babiesrus?
We got "i love my bear", its so cute, an i have a gut feeling you will have 2 little princesses.
When do you find out, or do you even want to?

Hi Charlie, Dont be worried about that section yet, things will most probaby change. So your baby isnt breech? is it something like your babys back is the wrong way around for birth? i hope everything works out.
I got the winnie the pooh collection, i was never keen on winnie the pooh. but soon as i seen it i loved it. it looks so babyish and the colours can be for either a boy or girl. it was that or My bear, i think thats quite neutral but more for a boy. kieren will love it.its a bit early to be looking at cots and things yet. but i need to find two smaller cots so i can fit two cots and a changer in the bedroom. ive looked everywhere on the internet for beech or maple cots. we have got fitted wardrobes and cuboards that are a beech colour it would look really modern if we could get everything to match. if we cant i suppose white would look ok.
So have you got everything ready now, is there anything else you need to get. its so exiting. what steriliser did you get my sister in law bought me the tommy tippy one. Are you going to bottle feed or breast feed? im deffinatly bottle feeding. Its going to be very hard feeding time. Jason will deffinatly take turns in the night, i no i'll get up with him though he wont be there all the time though im sure i'll manage somehow. i would like to join a mother and baby group for twins, i said i would never be the person to do that, but i think it will be a big help before they are born, to learn something and get some tips. Ive got pleanty of help around me, my mum is only roung the corner, so is my mother in law and sister in law, so ive got lots of extra hands.

Hi Hayley, no hes not breech, its just that i have had hip and back problems for years, and pregnancy has just made it worse so they want to get him out safe without him getting stuck.
Im going to try and breast feed, but will take each day as it comes.
You are very lucky to have lots of family close by, as all my family live in cornwall, apart from my grandparents, who are in there 90's
I still dont beleive i am pregnant, i guess it will hit me when i have him,
I just cant get over how lucky we both have been, both getting pregnant first go.

its good to be hearing all is well with you hunny
i think goin to mother and baby groups is a good idea even more of a support network plus i bet you will get loads of great tips that will be so helpfull
its so wierd we very nearly got winnie the pooh for our nursery
we hav always liked baby roo stuff and we were all for getting classic pooh for the room till we saw the i love my bear collection it just seemed right
and as far as im concerned its never to early to be looking at cots lol
no we not got too much to get now
erm we not got a steriliser yet probably wont get 1 straight away i think that as im goin to try to breast feed
not havin a steriliser will maybe force me to try harder with breast feeding if im findin it tough though will just get 1 not too sure which type yet though
we also gotta get baby moniters too but other than that think we hav it all
i guess with twins bottle feeding has got to be the way to go
will you sing to them to help get them to sleep?? lol
you can run through some of your fave numbers to your babys

hey hey all you october due date girls
so looks like its us next in line for giving birth
how are you all feeling about the birth??
we should find out on friday when our time will be hav an appointment at hosp when they will decide how our bundle of joy will come into this world

or inducment then hours and hours of labour and pushing
time seems to be slowing down now 30 weeks went in a flash but last 2 seem to be draggind somewhat
starting to get more and more uncomfortable and ache
baby has been gettin lots of hiccups
and has also been practise breathing
any of you spotted this?
biggest problem we hav at the moment is finding a new car
we only hav a small 1 at the moment so need to find a bigger 1 before baby comes but cant seem to find the car we are after
its incredible to think that after all we hav been through to get here we will all soon have our precious children to take care of
its funny but kinda forgotten about all the hurt and pain and worry and stress that was ivf treatment
we are all so lucky
cant wait to meet our son

Hi Charlie and Richard,

I hope everything is ok with your check up. I suppose once you have the decision made for you it means you can start to prepare mentally for either situation.
I have started my active birth classes which have covered yoga breathing for first stage labour and the first stage - covers up to being 10cm dilated. A tad scary as you suddenly realise it is all real and will actually be happening The best thing the midwife running the course said was remeber that a contraction only lasts for a max. of 1 minute and these are in the later stages.

Definately made me feel a lot better. The great news is i have also met a few women who had fab labours - one girls intense period of pushing only lasted 7 minutes!

How are the rest of the OCT gang? I am really starting to have to slow down. Mornings are great but by lunchtime start to feel really tired and need to get off my feet or else they swell to 3 times normal size

I have not felt the practice breathing but still getting lots of movement and very strange hard lumps appering all over the belly - still can't work out which is head, bum, legs etc!

Hope to hear from you all soon as on average only 6 weeks to go!
