I used Palmer's stretch mark cream also. Twice a day. I gained 50 pounds pregnant with twins. Gave birth 3 weeks ago and didn't have a single stretch mark. Mom & sister both have lots of stretch marks so I assumed I would get them (they say they are heriditary), so maybe the cream worked!!

So far (knock on wood) I have no stretch marks...I use a german brand called "Frei Oel"...(literllay free oil) for pregancy and breastfeeding...it is an oil with no scent and I use it twice a day. My mom and sis also had stretch marks so I am hoping none appear within the next couple of weeks...I have also gained about 40lbs  with a singleton.

What is important is not so much the cream or oil ..is that whatever you use to do it twice a day to keep the blood flow around the stomache area...and also "down there"....my breathing coach said keeping everything soft with good blood around uterus will help with child birth.
