wvbunny,
I feel your pain. You many never have a answer to your question as to why. Most medical professionals go with the standard, there most have been something wrong etc etc. It does not help the grief. Its especially hard as all us IVFer's, or anyone who has struggled to get pregnant, finally get the BFP, to have it end with the loss of our baby. Its like losing all your hopes, dreams and future. I will pray you find comfort in the days to come, and I will be here if you need to talk. You are welcome to PM me.
My story goes like this, lost my angel at 17 weeks. I had started to spot, which is not usual for me. Insisted on doc appt and they checked and no heartbeat...this is after seeing doc at 14 weeks and everything was "fine". I now question if the doc actually saw a heartbeat on u/s. He first checked with doppler and couldn't find it, but said it was still a little early and did u/s. I saw baby, but didn't see heartbeat and didn't ask the doc about it. I assumed he saw a heartbeat and u/s was really quick, so I thought maybe I just missed it. My baby stopped growing, according to a different doc in same practice, at 15 weeks. Of course, doc office will never admit if there was a mistake and ultimately, it makes no difference as my baby being dead.
baylorbear33, sha1, garfieldtracy,
I am so sorry for all your losses too!. I try and find comfort in knowing my angel baby is watching over me and I will see her again one day. Big (((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))) to all of you. I know I am still drawn back to this site, even though it is very painful for me once I get here, but I still want to support the girls I cycled with. Reading your posts had me in tears for all your pain....my pain.
