I see that this board doesn't seem to have much activity but I am hoping that someone will have some encouraging words. This is my 1st IVF went for viabilty U/S last week and we had twins they were just perfect! size, heartbeats RE said everything looked great, I was released and sent to my OB my 1st appointment was yesterday and 1 of my twins no longer had a heartbeat! DH and I are both devastated, I feel horrible and I just want to cry all the time. OB said that it was probably a chromasomal abnormality and this usually happens 25% of the time with twin conception. The other baby was doing really well, it had developed it's arm and leg buds heatbeat and size were normal and it was moving doc says I have a very healthy baby in there but I can't help being scared that I will now lose this one too. Have any of you ladies had this happen?
Me 31 DH 36
Male Factor (Vasectomy)
Reversal 06/06 unsuccessful
1st IVF/ICSI 08/07 BFP!!!!!

How sad this happened to you.
I am so sorry for your loss.
I do not have the answer, nobody has... do they, when you miscarry...
It often is a matter of nature... the body of the mama rejects the unhealthy baby.. sorry of such a cruel answer.. probably that is the case...
(I miscarried too at 10 weeks and unfortunately know the pain).

Take your time to grieve for your little angel in heaven, too beautiful for this life...

It will take some time to have confidence in your body again, but be sure your body is a healthy body for it recognizes a baby with such malfunctions that you probably were saved for a lot of sorrow...

You will feel more confident once you feel your baby move (between 16 and 20 weeks) every time you feel kicking you will be comforted...

Of course you now want to cry all day... your dream is over.. well a part of it... you suffered a loss... it takes time to heal...

I send you a hig hug of comfort...

after lots of IUI, 4 FETs and 5 IVF's
a babyboy!
